GunfighterMy water textures in Fly II are poor -- very light blue,almost sky-colored, with no "waves" or other variability. anything I can do?? thanks for any help. Greg.

Hey guys, Just bought a set of pedals on e-bay. Hooked them up, plugged in my analog joystick to it. Win 98 system does not recognize it. It sees the joystick and other gaming devices, just not the pedals. CH doesn't seem to have a set of drivers for this one, only the Pro Pedals. Any ideas or tips?Thanks!James Hmmm... I've had FLY!2K for years, and never had this problem before.I usually start FLY from the SKY! menu. The loading of FLY begins, and then stops. This error message appears: Subsystem is not registered...C:flightflightcirc.cpp, and then another window saying that fly.exe has created errors and will shut down.Starting FLY from its own desktop icon leads to the same phenomenon.Is this related to the wormblaster virus which came my way, and which I've cleaned up.My FS2002 was not effected, neither was FLY!2 affected- only FLY!2K. I actually prefer using the latter since it's more stable on my system.EytanP3 450GeForce 200 MX 64 MB256 RAM

Thanks to Randall Rocke we now have a new airport for Fly. It is Canton-Plymouth-Mettetal in Plymouth, Michigan and has just been uploaded to the library.You should not have any problem installing, but if you do send me an email and I will try and help.

HiEarlier i had a TNT2 and Fly2 worked fine, now i have an Ati9100 since some month and wanted to fly around a bit. Installing and patching is no problem, but graphics is completly messed up. Runways disappear, the aircraft in external view is constantly showing up and hiding, mountains are moving, the cursor shows a "path". Everything is messed up.I tried it with dx8.1 and 9.0b and several ati drivers, always the same.Is there a fix out there?ThxStefan

Hello everyone,I've heard a lot of really great things about Fly2 lately. So, it has sparked my interest in looking at Fly2 for VFR flying around the Detroit, Michigan area. Someone mentioned that there is terrascenery (?) for this region, but I don't quite know what that means. Anyway, could someone please comment on the Fly2 Sim for me. Do you think it would be good flying a Cessna 172 VFR around the Michigan area? Are there ways to customize the scenery, by adding your own buildings, static aircraft, etc.??? Hi all,Glad to see the continued support of Fly!II, thank you Wayne and Randall for your great scenery.Yes, I did get the new Microsoft product and it is very apparent Fly's influence. I have to wonder how many of these features would have appeared had it not been for the competition. IMHO Fly and Fly!II have probably been the only real competition for Microsoft, the others, while great, either had limited areas of coverage or little to no ability to modify (grow).I really wish that someone would pick up the pieces from Terminal Reality (or TRI for that matter) and continue developing Fly!III.In the meantime, I will continue working on some panel updates for the King Ai…

Hi!I'm new here, so first of all I want to say HI to all :)The problem is:I bought a new hard disk (82 Gb) and divided in two equal partitions (40 Gb).All works fine, I mean Windows, the games and all the stuff.I installed Fly! 2 and it works fine. Then I downloaded the patch flyII152-210update.zip but just after locating the Fly! 2 directory the installation program pops up with an error saying that I don't have enough free space on the hard disk to patch!!! I have something like 35 Gb free!!!I tried many times, but the error is still there and it doesn't allow me to patch the game!Did someone have the same problem with new huge hard drive?Thank you for the help!Bless, b…

When I restart a sim having saved the scenario with the Pilatus the throttle doesn't increase if the plane is on the ground.I have to change aircraft and then change back to the Pilatus, start the plane up again before being able to get the throttle to increase.Does anyone also have this problem and, if so, have they found a solution?:-beerchug

Hey Gang;I wonce had fly set up so that when departing and arriving at an airfield the name of tht airfield would would be shown in a grey colored popup window. (lower left corner) Any one know what program and or setting needed to make this "Popup" show again?Thanks Blake

I've been busy flying other simulators and I lost track of the latest things there are for Fly2 until recently. Searching the AVSIM libraries (for something not related to Fly) I stumbled upon the UK Photo Scenery uploaded by Paul Brooks. I decided to give it a try and choose the massive UK VFR

Apparently, it's been discovered that the planes in fs2004 have fewer flight dynamics variables than those in fs2002. In essence this reduces their "realistic" potential to something less than fs2002 planes. Gee, if only a few developers were to rediscover FLY2.....I've been tweaking some fly2 planes and have been having alot fun. although, I must admit that all those variables are scary. ;-)tony
