I was wondering if there was a way for me to install atcsynth on my mac version of fly! 2

G'day all, Now that winter is well and truly upon us here downunder I've revisited a project I started a couple of years ago. I've been a bit slack as of late :-) but the bug has bitten and I'm determined to finish it. Paul (aka Bart) Simpson did a great job on making a panel for the DHC-2 and sent all his work to me to mate up with an airframe I had made. The result I have posted for you to see. It's about 90% finished and should hopefully be completed in a few weeks tops. I'll see if I can get Laurent to do his magic and make the aircraft amphibious. As I understand it, all current aircraft for Fly! II will also work with Fly! Legacy.Cheers,Roger

Hi,I downloaded metar for a certain area and weather shows it raining at that area however when uploaded in FLY2 no rain only clouds. Am I missing something.Thankschris_CA

This may have been brought up before, but I can't seem to find it. I just purchased a 24" iMac with 2.4 Ghz and the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics card with 256 VRAM. I used Boot Camp to partition and installed Windows XP. I have both a Mac and a Windows version of Fly 2. I can run the Mac version now, but on Windows, the outside view is constantly flashing and in the cockpit, the curser and all windows leaves tracks when they are moved. It seems this happened before, but I can't remember how to fix it. I have tried to start Fly 2 with all different combinations at the graphics start screen, but no luck.Any ideas on how I can solve this problem? I use Fly 2 on a 4 …

Uploaded 3rd runway for Barcelona (LEBL), with taxyways.Corrected lenghts for all runways, added new VOR/DME (BCN). Curiously ILS freqs for 3th runway was already included in ILS.pod original file, and it's working ok without changes.Unfortunately, the 3rd runway can't be used with 3D scenery from Wayne cos some houses fits in the middle of it. Could direct me to a source(s) for a complete FLY II program that includes corrected maps, aircraft, etc. I have Fly II Version 2.5.240 and have attempted updates and corrections for the AVSIM library with only modest success. I wish I could find a CD that has all the corrections, updates, bug-fixes, and a complete manual, etc. that I could install on my computer (XP OS).Yes, I have seen the latest version of MSFS - which in my opinion- lacks the realism of FLY II, and requires very stringent hardware and graphics processing capabilities.Perhaps someday, someone with deep pockets will acquire the FLY franchise, and give as FLY III? Many thanks to Randall Rocke for supplying me with the US Data dvd's for Terrascene.After a few tribulations with one of my computers I embarked upon my Terrascene generation process. I was terrascening a Global Tile 169,156 (from Mickeys Maps). To keep it simple I used the default settings when setting up the project. I downloaded the relevant files from the data dvd and then started the render process. Does anyone have the problem of propellors not being in sync while in cruise flight in the King Air?The sound .wave file for cruise when played on Media Player does not sound out of sync, but when flying the props are plainly not in sync. On my installation putting the synchophaser switch (on the instrument panel) to "ON" has no effect on audio, though the sync indicator does not rotate .... is there something wrong with my set-up?Brian.

Hi All,I seem to be unable to programme my CH Throttle Quadrant so that I can use each engine of a dual engine aircraft separately. Moving the lever either doesn't have any effect or both engines' throttles increase.eg using the SeneccaAny clues?

I am a member of VATSIM and have flown several hours there. I would like to do the ratings flying out of KSNA that they have set up. However, when I teleport or start flight plan, I go to KSNA, but there are no runways or taxiways showing. I have the tmsna and have all the buildings. All I have is green terrain. The pods show them to be there and the ILS works. Uploaded at file library scenery for my home airport, Girona-Costa Brava, Catalunya.I've used my own textures from real photos in some models, but it has to be improved, I think. After several years away I loaded FlyII back onto a computer in an attempt to revive my flight simming. I had previously generated a large number of global tiles using Terrascene which I had backed up with 3 seperate backup programs and copied the resultant backups to dvd.As Murphys law would have it, none of the backups could be read when I tried to restore them, hence I was thinking of recreating some of the tiles. However when startng Terrascene 2.1 things worked ok up until the Render section when errors started occurrig during the doownload process, specifically with the www.wings.... site.Is Terrascene now a defunct program or is there a magical fix for the render p…

There are tons of free available 3d models made from google sketchup, my question is can they be ported to fly2 using flygraphics? Any thoughts on this?thankschris_CA

Hi Georg, Read your post under the Fly! Legacy post, and wish to be sure that what I read was true... that Fly! II will run on Linux under Wine??? Of course the biggest question would be that if it is so, do the aircraft that require dll files work as well, or would it be like under a Mac - where aircraft such as Seawind which require dll files not work? I am curious because I've been having some rather upsetting issues with the latest XP setup (although I admit, my HDD is most likely about to die a horrible fate!), and were I able to use all my aircraft (not just Seawind) under Wine and Linux, I would very quickly switch over.Thank you for whatever info you might provide…

Im sorry but i dont think any flight sim can beat fly's flight model. Only real flyers can fly fly! :)Now i can get back into IFRs who cares about scenery, Fly's scenery is not that bad if you just want to do serious work anyway.
