I've been getting quite a few errors and CTDT or complete freeze. Sometimes I get the dreaded video card sound that locks the whole system up. I did discover that my video card's fan had failed and replaced it with a monster one and while the sound hasn't happened again, I do get dbhelp errors, almost always when nearing my destination airport with and without C4TO. Any ideas?JamesAnyone running a similar or slower system then mine without problems?Pentium 3, Slot 1, 1000mhz with 512mb sdram, 32mb ddr video card, 3 hard drives, 12 of 37 gigs free on drive where FLY! is installed.Hmmm... Tastes Like Chicken!

I recently downloaded the ROTW 230 GPS Display and I think it's great. I am not sure if this is something I'm doing wrong but with it installed in the PA-28, the HI seems to automatically align itself. Is this due to the 230 unit or have I done something wrong. I am use to adjusting the HI with the magnetic compass and it seems that I'm missing part of reality without it.RegardsJake

Very easy to paint - all things lined up the first time. The hardest part was creating the "paintkit" for the 747 first.I need to review this a little more to make sure I have everything, but here's a teaser shot. I had FLY2 on my hard drive, but after an upgrade, I tried to reinstall. Put the first disc in, install wizard window showed up, progress bar creeping forward, but at 99% it stops. Since I don't want to assume... here's something to share. United Airlines has come out with a new scheme (I just discovered it on www.airliners.net a couple of days ago). Hello to all!I attempted my first Caravelle repaint and, well, it's quite a challenge to say the least! I know I still much left to "touch up," however, could someone please help me in locating the spot where the very lowest portion of the tail is located and how to line it up? I've been getting into FLYII recently (thanks mainly to the latest patch seeming to agree with my system!) and I'm having a blast - particularly with PMDG's fab 777. However, I need educating on Scenery. What is Terrascene? What do I need to make scenery work? Do I need it to install airports?

Over the last few years I've had a great adventure with flying and Fly II has been a big part of it, so I thought I'd share my story. I am ready to write a full IFR tutorial flight from Palm Springs to Los Angeles using the default FMC and the flight planner. I don't remember if you ever did Palm Springs. If you did, I am having difficulty figuring out its Nomenclature. thanks.tony
