Hi everyone,I was hoping someone could help me out. I just upgraded to a new system which is a Dell Dimension 8300 P4 3.4 Ghz HT, 1 GB RAM, Radeon 9800XT 256MB and a SB Audigy sound card. I am running Windows XP Home, and Direct X 9.0B, with WHQL certified ATI video card drivers as installed by Dell. DXDIAG reports no problems with either DirectDraw or DirectSound. Full hardware acceleration is enabled.I did a clean re-install of the US version of Fly 2, and then installed the "all-in-one" patch to bring it up to version 210. I then installed the final patch to bring Fly 2 to version 240. I also installed the video update.Now, with or without the video update, I can …

Fly! II is just so amazing! When I took this screenshot and viewed it in Photoshop it nearly took my breath away. It was one of those "is it live or is it memorex moments!" Most of my CTD occured when I had an application, like a text editor, running in the background. Whenever I'd change views, FLY2 would crash. Lately I've been testing the new SBox and kept getting Crashes. Like so many of us, I went crazy trying to figure out the cause. The latest is my having checked off( remove) the option to have the antialiasing as "application controlled". MY preliminary tests so far prove that FLY2 wont crash. Let's hope.....tony

Hi folks,Last week two repaints of the Caravelle were released at Simvol.Republique Centrafricaine and Air Inter.This are exterior repaints of the Caravelle made by Roman Smishkewych. Yesterday my Staggerwing PB1 repaint ( original model by Jean Sabatier,ROTW) was released at Simvol too.Special thanks to Jean Sabatier for his great help on this repaint.This plane was used by His Royal Highness Prince Bernhard of the Netherlandsduring the last year of WW2.English registration-marks , flown by a dutchman. The orange triangle on the fuselage indicates the plane to be flown bydutchman.I hope you`ll enjoy them.Regards/amiti

Hi Folks, I remember some time ago posts with this problem but I was unable to find anything about it when I searched. The question is about the scenery not being there when a simulation had been loaded from the saved simulations. I new it happened with KSFO but did not know it also happened with KHAF. When I start a flight plan from the flight planner from anywhere else to start at KHAF all scenery is present, was there ever a resolution to the problem with KSFO?Has anyone got any ideas?Thanks Desmond

hi there all me again wi a few more burning questions with regards to repainting aircraft in fly!1. ive worked out how to repaint them....but in some of the pages arent allowing certain colors. also once you repaint them....how do u put them into winzip to send them in 2 avsim? thanx 2 u all 4 helping...btw its only fly!1 i need help with. aint avsim and fly! like....soooo the best!?!? :)

I am cleaning up FLY2 and Sbox, and moving vehicles without ATC are a distraction. Unfortunately, I cannot simply remove the "path" without FLY2 asking for the Hawker model. If it's easy to make my wish your command, then I'd appreciate it. ;-)tony

I have a problem with the ILS alignment with rw 16 nzwn. Is it possible to change the position of the ILS?. I guess I can re position the runway as the alternative and have done this in a couple of instances.Richard.
