Has anyone out there, per chance, already started (or even finished) the process of "tagging" (labeling each section of the .tiff file and it's target location, separating the windows/doors and layer creation for either or both of these aircraft?I've been in contact with Pete Sterling (Mac Paint) and the 757 paintkit he used was the PMDG version never issued to the public.Cheers!John BauderFly! I was wondering if there is anyone working on a feature for FLYII that would allow random instrument failure. This would be a great addition to keep us on our toes when in the instrument scan. Knowing that nothing fails, seems to take the edge off of a flight.If it would be possible to have a vacuum problem that would let the ASI and HI wind down or a static port icing over, causing the Altimiter and VSI to fail would be a real treat.Still think this is a great SIM!RegardsJake

It's incredible. Since most of my "development" has been on FLY2, I had not bothered much to go through some of the material, especially "how to" stuff , in the FLY! development section. Well, the download of the "FLY design notes" translates into over 100 pages of how to essentially design a plane, including all the systems. With this, anyone can slowly understand how these planes are put together. May I suggest that we take this great file and place into 1. FLYdevelopers and 2. in the FLY2 section. I think many potential developers don't look beyond FLY2. This would be unfortunate. Get it. It's a great book for those of you who fantasize about being designers...tony

Enjoying my new Turtle Beach sound card and no more "Squeal of Death" crashes when flying jets and its happened again. Not the same way of course. Level flight at 41000 just passed the Kennedy Space Center in tile 198.149. Error message said cannot load texture Data199148fulltex.raw file not found texture.cpp line 1376. I think this is odd since I overflew that area minutes before, it's in another tile with only a spit of land rendered along the beach in Jupiter area over 100 miles away when the crash occured. Any ideas? Another airport issue?JamesHmmm... Tastes Like Chicken!

As someone who has come full circle back to Fly II, I thought I'd share some impressions I've had. I loved Fly! back in the day, although I only really played the standard installation plus the PMDG 757, which was more than enough for me. My P350 of the time struggled to push it along the moment the scenery got a little complex, so I stayed away from custom stuff, as it was largely pointless for me.When FS2002 came out, I had a more powerful PC; and some of the PSS produce tempted me away for a long time. I had purchased Fly II, (and the PMDG 772 to go with it) but I just gave up on it.Now, armed with DSL access and an even quicker PC, I tried Fly II again, fully patched.…

hi there this is my first post. now i need some help! can someone out there give me a step by step guide for repainting aircraft in Fly!1 (not fly!2) this help would be greatly appreciated.
