After installing FLY 2 last summer and not being happy with performance (due to my system not FLY)I have recently upgraded my system and thought I would give it another try. Gotta say performance is great but have 3 questions.1) I am using the Radeon 7200 w/64MB DDR vid card and the scenery looks great except for the sky. When looking anywhere towards the sun the screen is such a bright white you can hardly look at the screen and the rest of the sky just does not look right at all (colors are strange) Any ideas to fix this one?2) I am using the CH USB Yoke and Pedals and have set them up and they work great except for the fact they are so sensitive with absolutley no dead…

What does this mean??And is there anything I can do to correct it?Thanks

Hi All.Haven't been in the game for some time, however got a P4 2.0 rig for Christmas and FS2002 (sorry). I liked the way it runs on my new rig so am contemplating Fly!2 now. So here are my questions:1) Does it run on Windows XP? I don't mean ... kinda runs but ... does it or not? I went to the website but it did not show XP as a platform. Since many progs don't mention XP but run fine, I was wondering.2) What's the problem level? Main emphasis on program stability. Have there been many problems? Hello, I have never posted anything before in this forum but read it with interest regularly. I have used Fly since the very beginning and had allways enjoyed the experience it gave me. After MS2002 came out I used that much more as i must admit i am very prone to "eye-candy" and enjoy(ed) it very much! I recently got myself a new video card (g force 4 with 64mb) and decided to reinstall Fly 2 and went through the proces of installing the various patches and add ons. I also came across the Socata Tbm700 plane from ROTW and decided to install that as well. ..bit of an odd one is this. I cannot get the scenery editor to come up in Fly2. I've checked the key is still mapped to Ctrl Z but nothing happens. Bit of a bugger really as I wanted to remove a rather unhandily placed radio pylon at ECGD (I suggest you take a look if you want a laugh).I've tried clearing down and reinstalling with no improvement. All I have installed is Fly2, PMDG 777, 757 and Greek scenery. Patches are all up to scratch. Any ideas?

Here's a special request for the AeroMexico 757. The left side of the aircraft and some final alignment have to be completed then this one will be ready for the new paintkit. If you look real close, you can see the reflection of the engine on the fuse. I may remove it if you all think it looks too fake.Pete

I've searched the forum and looked at the various manuals and have probably overlooked something in my haste to get back up flying but cant find an answer to the following problem: all the scripts are loaded as required in CFTO and I am ready at ehkd and I have recieved clearance for the flightplan to rotterdam. Once I request taxi to the active I get a message stating "no suitable runway found" and I am not able to proceed with the flightplan! Any ideas at what, if anything, I am doing wrong or have overlooked!?Thanks in advanceAdam Ricketts Ehtx

How do I setup a Skies ini.file in the Configuration Settings in Systems?Does it have to be placed under a specific heading ie.Graphs,Atc,Editors etc.Any help would be appreciated.Rodger.

Hello, i love to fly in mexican air space, and i have a problem whit the metar reports, for example i download my metar from infometar to use whit fly2, the problem is in infometar the metar report for MMMX is, winds of 350 10kt 10sm sct 3000ft broken 8000ft overcast 25000ft temp 23c dewpoint 13c A3013, and in the sim is a total diferent forcast, is this normal? cant be fix? what can i do. I have most of the usual stuff installed as before. I havent changed anything other than drivers for my video card. I upgraded to 28.32 drivers from Nvidia. All is performing much better. Hi there,Has anybody got an answer to my question, I have been wanting to use the SB but I have no Idea on IP addresses which one i need to connect with. Also when ever I tried to use SB FLY 2 would stutter along and freeze thus having to reboot system and trying again so much to the point that I had received the error message streamio.cpp line 182. so as you can see I have been unsuccesful at flying online and would greatly love too. does anyone have a solution?Thanks Monkey Boy

I have followed the directions and got the other files needed and they are installed right .this started to happened after adding some nyc scenery from scotts terramodels. Any have this happen before ? I have been trying to install the 230 patch on a clean install of Fly2 with the full patch to 5.10 than I had installed PMDG's 777 and when I try to install I get into the setup and get this error message:General file transfer error,please check your target location and try again.Error number:2Filename:DDOCUME~1JEFFRE~1.JEFLOCALS~1TEMPWZSE3.TMP_setup.1I have tried everything to get this patch on so I can get the new 757 running,hope someone has a idea? I am going to be getting a new computer in the months to come, however I was just wondering if I could install a Voodoo 5 into my computer.I have FLY!2K, the reason I havent bought FLY!II is because i dont think my computer could handle it. I have a dual lesson scheduled for this evening (need to get the last hour of hood time and 3 more night landings), another dual tomorrow morning (PTS prep), and a couple of hours solo on Sunday. I'm not really sure what I will do on Sunday, but I like the idea of flying the day before and I'm sure there will be some things I will want to work on. I think I'm actually dreading the oral more than the flight test.
