G'Day!All programers, please help me. It was necessary to clean my computer and I lost the URL where I can download ESRI earthdata (DCW shapefiles) without the arcexplorer . Is anybody, who knows the correct adres????? I only remember, that on this site I can choose the country, there's a small earthmap and i can zoom it.And it was a "download" button.Many thanksmare

About 6 or 8 months ago I had so much trouble with fly 11 that I uninstalled and forgot about it. When this new patch came out I got interested again and decided to try it. I installed fly 11 build 152-then insalled build 230-then installed the latest patch. When I brought up the sim I never saw such a mess in my life. There is flashing everywhere and the screen is dark with strange triangles at the top. Guess I had better forget about it again. I have plenty of power to run it and plenty of room on my hard drive. Does anyone have a list of the correct aircraft settings for the various aircraft in FlyII? I think mine may be off a little. I'm talking about the Exponential Elevator and Exponential Aileron and such. Thanks again for the great help!!

I have spent hours trying to reinstall and patch this program. Patch v152tov210 aborts and says found old file and stops patch install. I,ve tried deleting any files of FlyII that were left after uninstall thru windows. I,ve had to start over with fresh install as after putting on the new patch,scenery from the front view was distorted(not side views-wierd). Thought it might be because I had installed gps into the Aurora 200.Before I put on the latest patch it was working ok. Just about ready to give up on this. Any help would be appreciated! After using Fly II on my mac for over a year , I finally decidedto try the pc version on my brand new pc.The pc version was installed, and pached up to 230 and finally 250/240.Terrascenery 2.1 and Terramodels 2.1 was also installed without any problems. The sim loads fine, but crashes short after take-off, leaving a black screen with following message:

I have an idea for our multiplayer problems and would like the crews thoughts. If someone here (I may be able to) could set up a dedicated Roger Wilco server, then we could connect to the vatsim network for multiplayer. This would give us multiplayer and our own voice traffic. Does anyone know if vatsim would have any problems with this? We of course would have to follow Vatsim's rules, but we could at least fly together. I guess we would have to fly in areas that are not covered under any controllers. Just a few random thoughts. Please let me know what ya think.I really miss the multiplayer. Having to reconnect to Tri's server every 10 minutes is not acceptable. …

Am lusting after a 1955 J35 at our field here in Whitehorse. Have been flying around the area in one in FS2002, but now I think I will re-install FLY11 and give it a shot. (Really miss the panels and cockpit procedures available in FLY).Is there a freeware/commercial Bonanza out there? Didn't see one in AVSIM, but I have not checked elsewhere.

Hi guysI have tried several times today to d/l the latest patch but without success.I have successfully d/l 2 MSFS and 1 MSTS files from avsim plus the DX9 from MS site all without trouble using DAP.Any ideas please

Hi Folks, First a big thank you to Rich & all the Beta team for all the work to give us such a great Sim. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem but it has occurred 3 times to me now in about 6 flights. I have never used AA with Fly2 because I always had some kind of problem either with crashes, corrupt display, or poor performance. I have tried again with the 240 patch and results are encouraging. Of course it might be something else I have done over the months, but still.... if you have been having problems with AA, maybe try again...Board is ASUS V8420 deluxe (TI4200, 128mb, 40.72 drivers)Art.

I've attached a few pics of the graphics problem that I'm having with the new patch. Hopefully, once the holidays are over, someone from the FLY! community or the beta team can help me with a quick fix.I haven't had any problems prior to the patch and I noticed that the new Render.ini is a bit different from the old version.I figure there's more simmers viewing the PC forum that might be able to help with this issue.Thanks,Peter

Hi,after installing the new patch, I decided to retry de default ATC.1-Load a flight plan KPHX-KDEN, click start flight plan2-Open an IFR plan with FSS3-Get the ATIS4-Obtain clearance5-Call ground asking for taxi to runway, it respond with "hold position" and it never call me back with taxi clearance after holding for 15 minutes at the gate...any hints ?JoelCYQB

With the release of the latest patch, I decided to load FlyII back on my computer after not using it in over a year. I forgot how cool this sim is! The aircraft are way better than the "other" sim. Anyways, I was wondering if someone can help me remember what files I need to make this sim great again. I have the patches, C4TO, Flyscripts, and all the maps from before. I installed all these things and it works great. Are there any other files that I truly MUST have?Any help would be appreciated,Glenn Westfall

I have had Fly 2 for some time now and I have enough time now to fly with a virtual airline. Could someone please help me with this. I saw that tnt cargo had an option to use Fly 2 but I cant email them so is there anyone else. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Hi guys Well it's been a while since I installed FlyII ,and with the new patch I thought I would give it a try again. I have installed patch 210,global patch, and 2.50.240 with no errors. Only one problem the airplane on the topo map is not postioned correctly it's about 20 miles off course. I must be missing something here is there a patch I have missed? I don't remember having this problem before. Thanks Dave.
