He rigged a lawn chair ... yes a L-A-W-N C-H-A-I-R..with balloons and set to flight. Several planes spotted him but dared not report it. Well, finally a Heavy did. I reviewed the FAQ post and deleted all .sit files and there were no .hst files and still my computer says The application FlyII has unexpectedly quit everything else has not been affected. I'm not a newcomer to Fly but have been away from flight sims for a while. I now have a pretty strong computer and after getting FS2002 decided to reinstall Fly II. I followed the directions for all the patches and it runs, but the outside view of the world is just light blueness that flashes. The cockpit panels look fine. After having use FS98 and CFS1 for a while, i finally bought Fly2K latelly (i am on low budget you know...). Panel Maker allows panels to be created for Fly!II using a graphical user interface all you need to do is create the graphics for the panel. :-)If anyone would like to try out the beta of Panel Maker for Fly!II, please could they e-mail me [email protected] put 'Panel Maker Beta Request' in the subject or something along those lines. Tony,in your reply to the low frame rate in different views query you mentioned about checking and, if necessary, adjusting the AGP setting in the BIOS. I know this has been addressed, I can't find the correct post. While flying, I get occasional fps drops -- from 20's to 5-6. Typically occurs while changing views -- i.e 25 fps in cockpit view, then 5 fps in right window view. Occuring more frequently lately, particularly with the Mustang. Any particular action I can take?? any help appreciated. Thanks. Greg.

Ok, I don't want to get excited yet and maybe it will only be a repackaging of Fly! II minus the bugs but one simple (?) addition I would like to see is for TRI to get together with Jak Fearon and HITW and make all those texture packs we once had available for use with Terrascene available again (updated to the higher resolution).And maybe TRI could finish Calgary and add the night textures for San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Washington D.C. Also inclusion of a 2nd disc with slightly extended versions of some of the 3rd party scenery tools that have been developed, i.e., Terrashape, Terramodels (with additional airport textures), and of course Terrascene (with a few d…

Are there any ERJ-145 pilots out there that can give some common to/ga and approach speeds and power settings?and...Is there anyone out there that would know a formula for calculating airspeeds (such as V1, V2, Vref, Vlo, etc) for an aircraft when only the wing type, drag, thrust, and weight are known.I would love to be able to fly aircraft like the 145 by the numbers without having been given the actual numbesThanks,---John R.
