I'm frustrated with myself for not being able to understand how to create a multi-windowed set of cameras. My "front" display client is a triple-head system with an AMD Radeon card. I've been running it in Eyefinity mode as a single display of about 5780 x 1080 with bezel correction. That works pretty well, though the graphics card struggles a bit to keep up when the graphics get complex, and it only works well if the three monitors are lined up in a straight line. I was slewing around Sydney, Australia trying to get some decent shots of AI when i noticed this Embraer coming in for a landing. So i zip over there to get in a good position and capture these two shots. the second shot is what got my attention..note how the AI put the brakes on...ive never really noticed this in a AI plane before. It made me smile

Hi, I have recently installed fsx and everything seems to work fine with the exception of black vertical flickering when panning in spot view. I have turne off cockpit tips as suggested in other threads but this does not work for me. I have a gtx460se card with the 341.2 driver. Your suggestions would be welcome. Thanks Barry

Gents, Figure this is the best place for difficult FSX questions. TED is a somewhat new VOR near ANC in Alaska. Wheras departures once used the ANC VOR, they now use TED. I'm wondering if there is a way to add the TED VOR to FSX. The data is available through Navigraph and subsequently the FMC, unfortunately you are unable to tune the raw data- because it is not part of FSX navdata. Any thoughts? JW

Have a problem with Dodosim 206 when using REX-E, for some reason I can't acces the maintainance menus when i use REX-E. The screen just go black when I try to acces the menus, and i have restart FSX and disable REX-E and then everything works just great. I get around it by always have to do the maintainence before I start REX, but It gets really annoying when i forget and have to restart the sim just to get my heli fixed. Sometimes It happens with Accufeel too so i cant get acces to the settings menu and only when using REX-E. Anyone expirienced the same?

I'm posting here because the FSCaptain forums are having login troubles according to the administrator. I also searched for this here but found nothing. I recently picked up FSCaptain, and I love everything about the program except that I have no clue how to import a real world schedule. I want to mimic United's current schedule, but have no idea how to go about it. From reading the manual, it says I can use TTools to get an AI schedule? Never used TTools, and the only AI schedule for United I have is from World of AI but the schedule is from 2007 I think. I know United offers a weekly pdf of their schedule from their official website. Is there some way I could…

Anyone know of alternate download locations for the mighty BlueSky sceneries other than their website? They link to Rapidshare which is extraordinarily slow, only allows one download at a time for free, and it seems you have to pull down every individual tile of scenery one at a time. I could dedicate a week to this process and I'm confident I still won't have even one area complete. Any other options?

Does OpusFSX not synchronize the simulator time between the server and the clients? I have two clients (of my three) that think it's night while my server and one of my other clients are correctly synchronized with real clock time. The absolute clock times on all four systems are perfectly synchronized (all are getting their time from an NTP server). Have I missed a configuration setting somewhere? I've looked, but I cannot find anything. -M.

Ever since we have been "dumped" into "our very own forum", I never see any new topics for this forum in the handy left side box of the main AVSIM page titled "Latest Forum Topics" I always load AVSIM main page to peruse the topics-du-jour, and have never seen anything there related to here.. Thats bias on AVSIM's part, is this not an AVSIM forum even as a subforum? I just checked, ad X-Plane, another commercial product, gets favorite treatment?

Hello all, I need some help installing some AI airplanes. I currently have WoAI as my AI program and it's working great, except that they don't have a United/Continental merger package. So, I found one online, but it is each plane seperately, like here: Inside one of those zip folders, this is what you'll see: ...and inside the texture.XXXXX folder, you'll see this: So, how exactly do I install this onto FSX? This is not done with the WoAI Package Installer, right? It's directly into FSX's root folders? SimObjects? What?! Thanks a lot!

I have four networked systems. All of the systems are 64-bit Windows 7 boxes, and each client can successfully connect to the server. I can create and manipulate cameras on each of the clients from the server -- I just cannot save any of the cameras, which makes the whole thing rather pointless. Whenever I click the 'Save All Cameras' button I get an error dialog box that says "Unable to transfer camera configuration data across to system <CLIENTNAME>" (where <CLIENTNAME>" is one of my client display systems -- the problem is occurring with all clients. Help guys, I´m having some problems with blurry and "washed" appearance in my textures cockpit&exterior (see attach pics) I have a high end machine with no problems about fps. Hello, I've been using 2 Saitek throttle quadrants for a few years now. I have 4 engine throttles, prop pitch, and mixture set up on the 6 levers. I set the axis in FSX and calibrate them in FSUIPC (registered version). Everything was working fine until a week ago, when one of the levers somehow became the throttle for all engines. If this lever is assigned to the mixture for example, it would also advance the throttles. I've tried reassigning all axis calibrating them, disconnecting and reconnecting the throttle quadrant, but nothing has worked. Do you all know what's causing this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hello; I'm using the CP Flight MCP pro version with EFIS. I cannot seem to connect the unit for correct operation. Software installed as are drivers, connected correctly. WIN 7 64 bit does not seem to recognise the hardware. Perhasp someone else has had the same issue? Thanks, Iain

After resisting for so long, Ive decided to take the plunge and buy some ORBX scenery. Now i know you ORBX nuts will say UTX doesnt hold a candle to the ORBX US and canada sceneries, i decided to not buy those at this time, because i do have UTX USA and Canada and the FSGenesis Mesh and GEX covering that part of the planet. I did not want to "overlap" my purchases. So i bought the ORBX Australia sceneries and when I fired the sim up after install and decided to go to Port Lincoln in South Australia, I almost got teary eyed with what i was seeing. This is probably already known but wanted to see if I was missing out on something amazing with this feature. After my disappointment with my recent upgrade, I was forced to play around with settings to get better frame rates. I'm pretty sure this graphic option is the largest affecting frame rates. It seems to do so little during the day yet sucks a lot of frame rate. See pics with actual frame rates. -

This is just a quick one letting everyone know that I'm hooked on the YMML to YMHB flight with the 737NGX. Always seems to bring up some interesting weather and is the perfect distance to travel (time wise) due to my busy work schedule. Just also wondering what airports people are using for YMML and YMHB that are relatively OK with frame rates.......... Jas
