Does anybody have the faroeislands5.zip scenery package (from the Avsim library)? I was flying into Vagar today for the first time and the LLZ approach into runway 13 (the PMDG 737NGX's FMC said 13, although the actual runway is 12) was taking me on a bearing rotated about 20 degrees from the runway, so that it intersected the runway at the middle--basically, if the runway had been rotated around its midpoint 20 degrees counterclockwise, the approach would have been fine. Where is the root of the problem, and can it be fixed?

Hey all, looks like Opus has updated their software and there is now track IR support -- http://www.simforums.com/forums/trackir5-interface_topic42829.html You have to update the program listing for TrackIR first. I don't think the beta version with the software has been posted yet, but I'll be looking forward to finally trying it out, and the camera-head motions when they do.

i purchased UTX USA from a website and got a DVD copy, and it says ERROR CODE 11FD. heres what it says. Ultimate Terrain X-USA has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Flight One Software/UTUsaFsx/bgl/LIGHT2/LMX2518J.Bgl: This file contains invalid data (Error 11FD) you will have to run this ulitity again to completely install Ultimate Terrain X-USA. HELP!! it says Error 11FD was a corrupt download, but this is a DISC from Flight one!! help me!!!!!! :mellow:

My brain is melting. With my most recent install of FSX, my flight analysis recording time is very small (5 minutes max?). At one point I used to be able to record my entire flight end to end and see my flight track from the Map View from the originating airport to the destination; no longer :( I'm nearly certain there's a magic option somewhere that extends this, but it escapes me. If anybody knows, I would be grateful if you could share. Thanks. J EDIT: Will FSUIPC autosave do this if I have it set to save every 5 minutes?

Hi, I have a problem with the textures or I dont know if this is normal.

I think I have an acceptable FSX Airport lookup website up and running. It is based on PlanG database. You can search Microsoft Flight Simulator X airport data by ICAO Code, Airport Name, Country, City, State, Runway Length, Elevation, Surface Type. Details page includes Runways, Com, VOR, NDB Frequencies and a Google Map. Please visit FSXDB.com and try it out. Also get in your ideas for changes you would like me to make.

Good day every one Although we all know that most airliners are, putting off there A300-600, but am realy a big fan of this bird i hop some one share that pasion with me. I have searched for a long time for a good model a good fully functioning panel and vc like those of PMDG, and Cptainsim, You see What am talking about real A300-600/ A310. Thomas ruth is good but still far from the level of hops, CLS model we all know it very well!!!. So is there any one currently modeling this bird or any future projects??????? sorry for my bad spelling.

Hi All, Just did an uninstall and re install of FSX. I have the latest version of FSUIPC. Installed the Level D but it doesn't show up on the Add on menu. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what a high quality add on plane for FSX is? I am looking to add some new planes to my library.

I am not sure which forum to post this topic in, it has to do with FSX and Windows 7. I recently upgraded my computer to W7 and reinstalled FSX. My problem is that when I change to the spot view the airpalne is magnified and I cannot view the whole plane. Usually the initial time that I change to that view all is normal but when I revisit that view all of a sudden the airplane is enlarged and it apears that I am looking at it from just outside the fuselage. This never happened until this recent reinstall. I haven't noticed anything else that is not acting as it should, but I haven"t had a chance to check everything yet. Thank you

Maybe I should start by saying that I'm aware of a demo version of it. I have tried it and my impression is that I really can't test it out since there are so many restrictions in it. I already have an overall picture of what it is and what it can do. I would like to ask someone who has used a registered version extensively. What are your impression after that? Have you encountered minor issues? Or do you discover more potential and you like it more and more? Does it function well with complex addon aircraft? The original was buried in a post on here so i decided to let it have its own post. The link lists ALL the airlines and aircraft that are in the My Traffic X 5.4a addon. The list includes the military AI and what country they fly for. VERY long list to say the least. But this gives people an idea of how expansive and wide ranging MTX is, and while UT2 is a wonderful product in its own right, this has replaced it on my FSX install. MTX 5.4a airline/aircraft list i hope this helps you decide which addon to buy for those who want a good AI addon.

After some hardware complications, I installed FSX and P3D, each on a separate hard drive. For some reason neither simulation will recognize the realism settings. No matter whether the Piper J-3 or Cessna 172's realism sliders are at EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD, they fly like they are set at easy. They don't pull to the side during take off, nothing. Interestingly, the fsx.cfg and Prepar3D.cfg files show that the realism settings are being changed. I have been a longtime FS9 and FSX user. Last week my hardrive crashed and I need to replace my system. My question for the forum is what updates should be added and where to I get them for the FSX program first. Secondly below is the list of my many aircraft addons. The question is in what order should they be loaded to the new system. Hi! Just thought I'd ask if anyone flies in any out of the way places in FsX. I mean places which don't have Orbx scenery for example (not that there's anything wrong with Orbx!). For me I have been flying recent flight in Northern Iraq. I have a family connection with the region but besides that it is a beautiful area to fly with lots of green orchards and desertlike mountains. Here's a jpeg of a VFR map from the library: There were a lot of small airfields and strips which no longer seem to exist in Iraq and are not in FsX either which is a shame. Hi! Sorry for asking a question which has probably been asked a million times. But was just wondering what default FsX aircraft people liked the most. For me I have been flying the Maule a lot recently and it is an absolute blast. Looks nice, handles very smoothly. Maybe not as complete as some payware and stuff but a very cool VFR aircraft in my opinion. Plus it is a taildragger which doesn't tip over on landing without rudder pedals unlike the Cub which has done this a lot with me in the past! Any thoughts welcome. Many thanks. P.

Hi All, First I apologize but I did check the REX forums, they are giving me a "Website is currently unavailable" error all day, and there is no support email I can find there. Anyway, I am running FSX Deluxe with SP2 on Windows 7 64bit, and today I decided to purchase REX eXtreme Essentails. I installed it in its default location with default options, configured it to my FSX path and typed in a name for my profile, and created the initial backup. Leaving everything else default, I click Fly Now! It fires up my copy of FSX and it opens up a window titled "REX WX" that has a radar image and a Load Weather Button". After about a couple of years, I decided to reinstall the Eaglesoft citation 2.0. When I start (eng. running) I see the engine power at 48%, and I can not reduce it to idle using my Microsoft Pro controller. Please not that this controller works correctly for all my other airplanes. I have registered at Eaglesoft, but am waiting for my approval to use their support forum, so I thought I would ask here. Any ideas on why the throttle is so high when it should be at idle power setting? Thanks, Jim

Is anyone planning on releasing an EBLG payware scenery sometime?

I downloaded the latest nvidia driver and that has caused lots of programs with the graphics. Everything appears to be flashing/flickering and it gets worst if I uncheck antisotrophic in FSX settings. Can anyone provide so guidance? I have Nvidia GTX 580. I really regret downloading the latest drivers. I screwed everything up.
