help with eaglesoft citation x 2.0

Featured Replies

There are a lot of repaints in the Avsim Library, do a search in the FSX section for Eaglesoft Citation.

As I recall there are not any repaints available for download on the Eaglesoft website.

I don't know why it seems too difficult to simply answer the question directly. It's not a State Secret after all... :rolleyes:

Open the FSUIPC.ini file and look for the entry

AxesWrongRange=No

Change this to

AxesWrongRange=Yes

Save the file. Done!

Where are the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 addon liveries. Are they available? The liveries that came with it look pretty bad!

Ok.. you're free to say whatever you like and such... but do you really have to be so rude and insulting in your posts? People worked on those 'liveries', real people. Slamming their work in such a heavy manner really is inappropriate and uncalled for. I don't make aircraft repaints... I really wouldn't know where to begin... so I certainly would never claim that someone else's repaints (liveries as you called them, though liveries are predomanently commercial passenger aircraft) were bad... let alone state it as rudely as you did.

Come on guys....what is it that lately posts turn into arguments around here.....

Lets all just be nice, help each other out and then go fly????

They make drugs for that these days :) I kinda like the default "liveries" or repaints or textures or whatever. Really there is only one item I would change in the girl and that would be to have the yoke no show/hideaway and thats not that big a deal. Every month I buy an addon and say "well thats about worthless" but never thought that of the Cjet. very versatile.

Ya, that too would be my only change I would make. I wonder if it is possible to edit these things out manually. Like on the NGX it would be nice also.

The yoke does hide. There is a red ball on a lever lower right next to the yoke, activate it and the yoke disappears.

The throttle issue affects the CX as well as some others (Milviz F-15 I think and maybe the VRS F-18E). The FSUIPC.INI change does the trick.

"AxesWrongRange=YES"

I have never seen 650 knots ground speed in the CX, 580 or so but not over 600 for sure. I guess I'm not finding the right tailwinds.

My $0.02 - I like this plane very much. I also like the ES Citation II almost as much.

He must be a very angry person then, if sharing how to change a single value in Pete's FSUIPC on AVSIM can tick him off.

I hope he is not, really.

He doesn't like using AVSIM's bandwidth to provide product support, simple as that.

As others have stated, regarding hiding the yoke in the VC... simply clicking the emergency brake handle (silver lever, red knob on left side of center console near the tilt panel) will toggle it on/off. Of course, that's covered in the documentation. :wink:

He must be a delicate person then in a very quaint way, taken the amount of bandwidth this discussion has already taken (close to nil actually).

CJ1+2.0 is really good as well (hopefully someone at ESDG will help to code FADEC at some point).

Cheers,

Dirk.

LOL. After 4 yrs, I didnt know that. Did you guys know to hide the Yoke all you have to do is click the little deally beside the parking brake.SEEMS I wasnt the only one. The only complaint I have ever had with ES is Attitude! You should be proud just to make a customer happy!

Hey William RT_M. :p0307:

Quite so. It can be a little frustrating when you're just starting to use it but its one of the only planes that gets re-installed every time I reload FSX along with my RealAir triplets and even though I'm currently having an issue with the SID/STAR's working, I still fly it regularly. Makes a pretty good glider too :rolleyes:

Sometimes its easier to get a response on AVSIM than it is on the Eaglesoft forum. It is what it is

I tried for days with Eaglesoft's help to keep mine running (kept shutting down by itself) but I gave up on it. The CX 2.0 is a sweetheart though :wub:

We should realize that CX Extreme 2.0 is simply the most complete business jet ever developed for MSFS. I remeber WarpD almost quit MSFS hobby/work while working on it, lol. No one including the venerable F1 Mustang has come close to the systems simulation as ESDG did.

Thanks,

Dirk.

Wilco CX users will argue with that point. I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I love it when everything works but hate it when starts turning in circles for no reason I can determine. Still, its one of the few planes I fly very regularly and as soon as Eaglesoft gets back to me on that SID/STAR issue they are working on for me, its off to the races.

The "support" given was for Pete's FSUIPC.ini file, not something specifically Eaglesoft...

...I know that might be hairsplitting, but... :LMAO:

I know its subjective but they look pretty good to me. I've seen 2 or 3 different Citations around KOPF and the liveries look similar. Different strokes I guess..
