I'm starting a new thread that I opened a year ago, and is now out of date. I'm still looking for a solution to the "flashing" problem that occurs when changing views using the EZdok camera, and it occurs when using the NGX and ENB programs together. I know I saw a message from Word Not Allowed where he said "I leave the SB transponder open in FSX, I get no flashing when using NGX+EZCA+ENB." I'm not certain of what he's saying here, is this an NGX setting or an FSX setting? Anyway, I've been without ENB since the NGX was released, and I really want to make use of it again. Thanks for any replies.

I can't wait, Mir is almost ready to release his much anticipated KPHX Pheonix Intl. Although FlightBeam Studios is a relative newbie to the highend scenery addon market, his quality, frames, and technological craftsmanship are on par with the market leaders. http://www.flightbea....php?f=10&t=390 PS - I am in no way connected with 'any' FS Addon Scenery developer but enjoy speading good news when the opportunity presents itself. I'm especially willing to support the newer developers when able, to help keep the community fresh and growing.

Since FSX and many PC games demand a relatively powerful computer to perform well, what PC performance utilities do you regularly use to monitor performance? Do you create charts from the data to show things like CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds, CPU loads, etc? Do you compare charts over time to look for problems that might require attention? Has your monitoring ever helped you catch a problem that could have led to disaster if no action was taken? Thanks for the information! Airbus

I am looking to buy a new computer for FSX . I bought my last computer from digital storm and have been happy with it, but I was wondering if anyone has recently bought a jetliner system and if they are happy with it. It sounds like they have good customer service and can they really set up and tune their computer any better for FSX. Thanks for feedback.

I have noticed an issue when importing certain routes on FSX. Particularly Routes between the USA and Asia. It is unable to import them and just leaves the flight plan page blank. I get my routes from Flightaware and create them using Simroutes. Here is the route in question: KSEA-RJAA SEA J523 TOU FINGS MANJO 5300N 14000W 5300N 15000W 5100N 16000W 4900N 17000W 4700N 18000E 4500N 17000E 4100N 16000E EMRON OTR7 ADNAP OTR5 PABBA Y807 KETAR Y811 VEPOX Y811 MELON

Hello Everybody! I have received a new laptop recently (specs below) however still with great aircraft such as the NGX and scenery such as FSDT KLAX the screen will go black after returning from a map or Alt + Tab and that is basically a CTD due to OOM however on Windows 7. Without altering the global texture resolution (as I know that eats up memory insanely fast), what are the most problematic scenery settings in terms of OOM (out of memory, followed by crash to desktop)?, such as maybe water, AI (I know that's a big one), scenery, whatever. Thank you very much! -DMac10121

I rember in the old days with FS 2004 there used to be some kind of file containing all the available airline callsigns for ATC use. In FSX I am unable to find such a list and wonder if it is required, available and if so where? Regards Dirk

We have "A" key, "S" key, and the Shift+x keys for various views. I understand what each is doing but really want to modify the "A" and "S" views. There is a cameras.cfg is in the FSX folder and another cameras.cfg in the Users\.........Roaming\......FSX folder. Neither seems to match what is happening when I press "A" or "S". Can someone explain to me how I set just what views are in the "current category" and what the categorie list is? Two or three hours reading and trying different entries and still see no pattern to any of it. I will be very grateful for some help. Thanks in advance Neal H

I'm looking for an application that allows me to view all aircraft in my FSX folder, whether it is flyable or not. The aircraft are contained in SimObjects folder, but multiple sub folders. I want to add some of my AI aircraft to UT2, but would like to sell the different texture variations before doing so. Thanks, Ernie

Hey everyone, Well, us in the FS World have had quite the amazing 2012! With many products coming out this year, one's head could spin trying to look through all of them! But, thats not what this topic is for. I'm in a bit of a dilemma, invloving several payware choices that haven't been released yet, but most likely will be soon, and I need some prioritzing help. I'm focusing on the Coolsky DC-9, the Airbus X Extended, and the QWSim 146(I'm aware this is out, just haven't given it much thought) Now I need some opinions on what to save for and buy first when they are released, QW being the obvious exception. Any help?

I have read a lot of good things about the Reality GNS 530 and am condidering purchasing it. My question is, how touchy are the knob click spots. I really get frustrated trying to find the right spot on the knobs on other GPS displays. Some aren't too bad but others are an exercise in patience and continual clicking to hit the right spot. Help me decide. Thanks Jim

I don't know if this is the correct forum but anyways here is my question. I have a pretty powerful computer and I was wondering if it is okay to run too games at once (assuming the cpu/gpu temps are in check)? I don't want over stress my computer that's why I was wondering. My plan was to turn down graphics settings on FSX almost all the way mid flight so I could run another game at the same time.

Hi guys, Really looking for your help and advice. I have just today upgraded to a gtx670 which hasn't totally got rid of the problem I was having [gtx480]. I am getting lower than expected fps when on the ground at certain sceneries. Bermuda - Latin VFR is the latest, where I look down the runway and get major performance hits. It may be something to do with the tree's or something related to that. What can I do to try and rectify the situation? Create a new FSX config? Get my exe and dll files checked? Go to a previous driver? What can I be looking out for, Kindest regards, Alex
