Hi i would like to know which setting does most simmers use? For example i am having a hard time with the Track clip or Vector . When using both its uncomfortable . So i want to know which one you guys use? I try vector once but it makes head movement not to realistic . For example i could put my head upside down .

Has anyone tried FSPS - FSX BOOSTER V4? And is it worth it? Thanks!

Yes.. Just a wish list of airports/Sceneries wanted which no one seems to be doing.. Or atleast its not done with the absolute quality its needed. 1) City of San Diego/Carenado and KSAN Airport and the military airport next to it. The city/Downntown is important since it comes into the picture (Figuratively speaking) when approaching to land. Day and night. 2) PARO Intl (VQPR). Yes there is the Thai creations...but this airport deserves the ORBX/Fly Tampa treatment. 3) KPSP - Palm Springs Airport. Not sure why no one has done this one. This is adjacent to the amazing mountain (of Megascenery So Cal). It would be good to have. 4) VNKT (Katmandu) - Another a…

I haven´t spend much time with FSX lately. Today I wanted to do a short flight just to get some taste of the FSX again. But what has happened. It looks like I have lost all the seas! Where the oceans should be, there seems to be something different. In Spain (Malaga) there was some water but the sea was miles away where it should be. And (have a look at this picture) at Key West FL there was no sea at all! What the problem might be? Any ideas. Oh yes, and lately I have installed just some ORBX sceneries and Sweden2011. I tried to inactivate them but that didn´t help. Any one any ideas, plz!

Hi guys, I have been doing some flying with the 208 from Carenado, and I have been having some problems. First, when I fire it up with a parking brakes off it seems to develop some enormous power which can pull me at speeds up to 50 kn in the worst-case with the parking brakes on. The second problem is when slowing down for descent. If I pull itself back with the props fully forward (not engaging reverse thrust, or beta range, or whatever it is called) it slams on the brakes. I can descend quite steeply (>3000 feet per minute) without gaining any speed at all. While this makes it very simple to slow down, it doesn't seem very realistic, does it? Any insight…

I was messing around with the advanced effects in EZDok yesterday and produced a great engine vibration effect in the RND effect settings. While I was in the edit mode, the effect appeared just fine; however, when I turned off edit mode to save it, the effect disappeared. The DHM and CR effects work just fine, but RND doesn't. I've heard that EZDok sometimes has problems like this in non-default aircraft, so is there a work-around?

I am trying to start a small ga aircraft manually. Let's take the default Maule (it's the same in all default planes): 1. Alternator / Battery ON 2. Fuel Pump ON 3. Mixture FULL, THROTTLE 25% 4. turn key into START position Now if you do #4 with the keyboard, the propeller will start to turn and then stop immediately. If you do it with the mouse where you can actually hold the key in position it works! Holding down the key on the keyboard only results in constantly turning the starter key on and off. The background is I want to assign these buttons to a new hardware I have. Any ideas?

Hi all, Noticed this while flying a route from Anchorage to Hong Kong the other day--the ocean in a huge square off the far eastern tip of Russia appears to have turned into sandy desert in my FSX (see image below). Any ideas what might have caused this or how I can fix it? I'm using FS Genesis and scenery tech landclass. I assume other people aren't seeing this same thing? (I'm also running UTX, though it shouldn't affect this area; I ran the setup to repair the terrain.cfg but no change.) Thanks for any help, James

For me i all started on a day in 1981 when i found this 'personal computer' on a shelf of a local store: the Sinclair ZX81. It had a Ram memory of 1 (one!) Kb. I didn't even know what ram or kb meant at first, but i discovered soon that the memory was already full after entering 20 lines of code in Basic. Yes the manual did teach me to program in Basic ! So many PMDG 737 topics on this board but CS 767 really is miles ahead of my PMDG aircraft. I just bought it and i am in shock at how well it runs and flies on my system.

OK,, tried the GSX at KLAX.. It very good. love it. But here is the deal..I have this issue..this is more my thing..then the GSX thing. I usually never shut off my engine and always start with engine already started. LOL The only aircraft I ever learned the start off and shut off procedure was the PMDG 747. But I now ver rarely do this. Is there a way to get around this for slackers like me? Ha Ha! Here I had to shut off by shutting off the fuel and then when the push back pushed be back and asked me to start my engine.. I had to load the default 172.. do ctrl-E on it and then loaded my LvL-D 767. But that worked. So , now I thinking of some cler way to avoid…

I have tried using Dino's T-45C (Ver. 2.2.1) with my COP3 gauge. I put the tailhook down on the ground with the COP3 gauge. It says the hook is too short. I can see it is too short. I had 10% fuel onboard so the A/C sat a little high. The position gauge says the tailhook is at 100%. I tried changing the tailhook length in the aircraft.cfg and still get the too short error. The COP3 readme says to change the third parameter in the tailhook section. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, how can I fix it? Thanks, Bob.

Hi. I recently purchased the Lancair Legacy aircraft that I use with the Reality XP 530, and I have some trouble assigning some functions to my Saitek Yoke system. Is it possible to assign the annunciator panel test switch and the GNS530 startup switch to Yoke system switches on my hardware, and if so what corresponding FSX control function should I use. I aready set up one of the Saitek switches as "parking break set" but that one was a no brainer as the FSX control function is called "Brakes, Set Parking" Thanks Mike

Hey again Im currently flying my way through the missions in fsx (again). I don't know why, but all mission related objects are invisible. For example the space shuttle in the f/a 18 cover mission aswell the beechcraft is invisible. Also I noticed the same thing with the helicopter mission where you where prompted to fly to different oilrigs. When I got there, I couldnt see any rigs. Any suggestions? Win 7 High end pc Lots of addons.

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to download RCS's B-25 64-bit version since it was released. On both my "flight computer" and my laptop, when I select the link on his news page, another page opens that states "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Has anyone else experienced this concern and successfully overcome it? Or is there an alternate site where I can download it? Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered!

After playing around with the -NGX for the past couple of days I decided to see if I could perform one of the same flights on the CX 2.0 (MKJP to MKJS). I installed the latest FMS update from Navigraph and proceeded to program the FMS. I did the following: 1. Position Initialization 2. Enter destination MKJS 3. Enter MKJS again to close flight plan 4. Select Departure 5. Select Runway 12 6. Select SAVEM5 SID 7. Activate 8. Perf Initialization (CRZ Altitude FL120, Trans Altitude 6000, fuel, etc.) 9. I've been having a lot of trouble picking out airport rotating beacons from afar (greater than 10 miles). Does anyone know of any addon or fix for this? In real life on a clear night, it is very easy to spot the beacons in the area. I've also seem to have a corrupted conelight.dds file, anyone know how to extract this from the original FSX dvd?

I mainly like to fly the airliners: default CRJ-700, 744, and the 738 with add-on liveries from AVSIM. airbus models from Thomas Ruth. freemium 757s from Just Flight I use the afcad files downloaded from Avsim as well. Suggestions on where to look or what's messed up. I have UTX, FSWater and PW Sceneries Photoreefs Volume 1 - By Paul Wheeler. PW Sc Ph is already above UTX in the scenery list. Disabling UTX results in no change. Tried reinstalling PW Sc Ph, results in no change. The area where the pics are taken from is just SE of Point Salines airport TGPY. FSD is having a sale this weekend and I'm thinking of picking these up. Does anyone have either or both and if yes, what are they like to fly? Are the graphics, textures, etc., good?
