1. What are the limitations of Opus in demo mode, ie is there a number of times you can run the demo mode? 2. When you download the weather, can you save it and use it at a later date? Thanks.

Just a heads up guys , asus I control , part of the asus ai suite seriously slows your internet speed , I disabled it & internet speed went from 2 mbps to 35 mbps , I also found turning off all of the ai suite gave my fsx a massive boost , my blurries are all but gone , my visuals look fantastic , even recording with frapps is so much better ,as in the videos are now usable for you tube , you can see my videos at paulsleighty , look at the older ones of fsx then look at the new ones even using facetrack noir & you can easily see the visual improvement.

Hi everyone! I recently did my first flight using Radar Contact on FSX. My plane was a PMDG 737-800 NGX. I used FSBuild to create the .pln file (Export to: FS2004/FSX) and also to create the the .fpe file (Export to: PMDG 737/747/MD11/J41 (MSFS)). I loaded the .pln file into radar contact and made sure the information was correct. I then loaded the .pln file into FSX as well. Once I was programming the FMC and Radar Contact was started, I entered the .fpe into the FMC. The flight was going great up until the approach. Hi! I have a strange phenomenon since I installed the QW 757 yesterday: When I fire up FSX, it asks me if I want to load the FSForce.dll (I am using the G940 with force feedback) as usual, but then, nothing happens anymore. The FSX splashcreen stays until I open the taskmanager and end FSX with it. When I start FSX directly aterwards, it boots up normally... What went wrong here? OS is Win7 64 bit. Thanks in advance for your help! P.S.: One more thing I noticed: GSX doesn't work anymore. So maybe it's related to some error or problem with the Addon Manager which is used by QW and FSDT...

I have two things to show you guys, and one thing to put as free download in the file library. First mini project I finished today are runway detail textures, that are NOT used in default FSX and by the REX team, I don't have a clue why. Note - I used tarmac runway texture from REX on this shots, TML=2048. Comparison shots: default: (REX tarmac runway texture) Runway Detail Textures: tarmac: fine: rough: (I prefer this one) As you can see the difference is huge, it's like the runway textures are 8192p or more. Just one example for KSEA ILS 16L. On Flightaware is says KARFO @ 3200ft but on Avivla EFB it says 1900ft. Thats a big hard alt difference!

Last weekend I discovered that I have the cursor bug: when the cursor comes onscreen in FSX with for instance the 737 NGX the fps drops significantly. For a long time I thought the drop had to do with scenery or some wrong setting or the 737NGX being a heavy plane, but after reading about it by coincidence I now know I have this bug. It is a known FSX bug for which there is no solution. That surprised me... Is there REALLY no solution? Didn't someone figure out how to get a 'hardware cursor' in FSX by now...? Since I know what is causing those frequent fps drops, it's annoying me a lot... So just to be sure I'd like to know if there REALLY is no solution! ^_^ As i…

Hello all, i hope someone can help we with this. As you know FSX automatically add lightning and thunder effects to metars containing CB reports. With Active Sky you have the option to only have lightning when TS is reported but with OpusFSX this is not possible. In the part of the world i normally fly in CB`s are very common but lightning on the other hand is very rare, maybe once or twice a year at best, so i was wondering if there is a way to completely remove lightning effects completely from FSX? Thanks!

This morning I was flying with ASE with no issues at all. Tonight I click on the ASE icon in order to start flying again and I get the following message,despite several attempts to open the program. 'A problem caused the program to stop working correctly' 'Debug Close Program' Could anyone throw any light as to the possible cause of this problem? Many thanks in anticipation. Michael

Hello! I have a little thing that always have to do the first time I load FSX. When I do it, appears the plane rotating as usual. No problem. But if I choose another one, or better seen, If I go to change the time.. I have no problem. Change it, but when apply and return the plane stops rotating and FSX seems like it hangs on. But wainting something like 1-2 minutes it makes rotate again the plane and can continue. Exiting fSX and loading again don't produce this. Someone has similar behaviour, and can tell me how to solve it? Thanks!

Realistic or not, I'd like to modify several planes to smoke more and longer, both on startup, full throttle, longer larger contrails, and tire type situations. Where would I start to look to tweak the smoke? Or perhaps there is a utility app somewhere for this?

Hello all. I am new to flight sims and to FSX in particular. Having spent many years immersed in different 'shoot-em-up' games and recently the Silent Hunter submarine sim, I thought I'd take a look at FSX after a friend recommended it. Well I can say I think I'm hooked and I've only been playing with it for about a week. Only problem is that I'm having issues with setting up free-flight custom trips. I set them up in the Free Flight section of the pogram, only to find that the flight I plan isn't available in the saved list. In fact none are there to load at all. hey there hows it going i have a few questions about this product i just bought, wilco airbus a380 v2 when i tell it to do cold and dark on the config panel and when i load the airplane its still on. when i manully turn the plane off the engine sounds are still on ?? any ideas thx

I hope someone can help me with this. Suddenly fsx won't load past 86%. I can boot up fsx, but when I select "fly now" and it starts to load the flight, it stalls at 86%. I tried clearing the cfg and nvidia inspector back to default no change. Please help so I can get back to flying.

Hi, All! Does anyone know what it means "showaxis" in the [cameradefinition.n] section of CAMERAS.CFG. I tried to change the value, but nothing happens. And the second question: How can I limit the movement of the VC camera intside the cabin? I'm using FaceTrackNoIR and My head goes through walls and ceiling of the cabin -_- Ezdok doing it, but I do not want to use it for some reason.

I have the 737NGX and I'm very happy with the frame rates, thinking of dinning on the airbus extended,,.. how does that compare frame rate wise?

This is a jitters problem I encounter whenever I go into an "Instant Replay" ... this is the ONLY time these jitters happen and I can't figure out why? This is a basic FSX Installation with Acceleration in DX9 mode ... I have GoFlight's controller module installed and FSUIPC 4.853 installed. NO other 3rd party add-ons installed. My only thought is that my G27 Wheel/Pedals are causing this problem (even though I don't use them).
