Does anyone know how to get the folks at Blueprint Sceneries to respond to e-mails? I've submitted problems regarding serial numbers a number of times within the last week but cannot get anyone there to respond. There must be some way to get them to wake up! Does somebody know how to accomplish this? Jack

Do any of you guys play FSX when travelling on a plane? I was playing on my laptop on BA with my route and plane loaded up on FSX (PMDG 747 from LHR - JFK). I managed to get within a few minutes difference to the actual flight Onboard an FA saw and started chatting to me about it. She must of mentioned it to the captain who came out (I was sitting in the first row on the upper deck) to see. He was very impressed with the flight model!

Hi, Ever since I have been using FS2004, I have had sound popping issues, that were never really fixed. Now that I'm on FSX on my new PC, I still get the sound popping and crackling. It gets quite bad sometimes. After some testing and online research, here is what I conclude for my system: -It's not sound card related. My PC has a dedicated audio card (Delta 1010) and I thought something might be wrong with it's settings. However, even my wireless USB headset has the crackling sounds, and that device uses a separate audio driver. -It doesn't seem to be autogen related. Since my old computer was pretty low-end, I'm used to running the sim with no autogen at all…

Has anyone experience with combining Blue Sky Scenery with ORBX areas? Are there any known conflicts? I'm mainly interested in the Yellowstone National Park area which is also covered by ORBX CRM, and I don't really want to end up with an incredible mess. From how I understand it, there shouldn't really be a problem, since I think FSX will always display the highest available mesh, and the phototextures are nothing but, well, textures that are limited to a certain area. However, I'd like to know, if there's any experience before wasting my time (and some GB of my limited download amount). Thanks in advance, Flo

It doesn't yet exist! The concept of SimTeam: We all know these awsome videos on youtube from max737Ifly, FSXnoob, JRSchiphol, timflightx, cessna154, etc. I'm about to make some videos aswell but before I was going to do that I wanted to get this idea to get a chance or something. I just wanted to pass on my recent experience with PMDG support. I recently replaced my PC and after installing the MD-11, started getting an error related to one of the files used by the MD-11 . I opened a support ticket on Saturday evening and got a response a few hours later, A number of emails back and forth with Paul and Ryan and we were still unable to resolve the issue. Ryan then offered to use their Live Support facility to help me fix the problem. Happily this was not necessary as the problem seemed to fix itself and all is well now. Is the MCP and EFIS from cp flight completely compatible with FSX for use with the PMDG NGX? As you know prosim have decided to double the price of their suite making it out of reach for some/most individuals. I was wondering if it was possible to setup a home cockpit using opus to interface with the MCP and EFIS and fsuipc offsets to control the rest?

Last evening I made a tiny (tiny) change to one of my aircraft config files, which resulted in FSX crashing at the Free Flight screen. Reversing the change had no effect. Nor did restoring the whole old SimObjects folder. Nor did deleting FSX.CONFIG and letting FSX build another one. Nor did anything else I tried. I was beginning to get that old sinking feweling which precedes a complete FSX re-instal. But fortunately I recently installed Acronis True Image 2012 and have been using it regularly to back up the system. Im confused as to why atc is assigning runways based off the static winds, which seem to be those of the departure airport. The winds are always correct while on approach and final but then I have planes taking off into my flightpath. Other than that this weather engine is the real deal. Thanks Les T.

Hello all. I have been a sim player for many years but have only just discovered the amazing world of flight sims. As a brand new FSX player I have a query about the Free Flight and Flight Planner feature of the sim. I don't know what is wrong, but when I go into free flight and plan a flight I don't seem to be able to save the flight plan so that I can load it in the 'load' screen. I know I save it because it is on the drive but doesn't appear as a saved flight for loading. Also, if I try to fly the plan from within the flight planner it defaults to Glasgow as the starting point even though I have changed the start and finishing points. Is this a common probl…

I'm a current Traffic X user and was "thinking" moving to a "next" version but not necessarily Traffic X folks ... I gotta admit, I was stuck with Traffic X for a few months until they patched the product that fixed A LOT of issues ... as I recall, getting the patch was not easy. I like the idea of AirNav 3 with "live" traffic, but at $106 for 6 month subscription ... hmmm ... it will need to be really good. I'm guessing Ultimate Traffic 2 is about due an update to Ultimate Traffic 3?? Anyway, would like to hear from you folks what you think of these 4 titles and/or any others. Thanks, Rob.

I have Blueprint's KIAD scenery, and I can't find ILS freqs for the center runways. Could someone verify they have ILS frequencies for the center runways?

Quick question, and I haven't found a decisive answer to this when searching: Let's keep it simple and just talk about aircraft add-ons. When you start FSX fresh, does it load _all_ the .dlls you've permitted at start into memory? Or does it only load those relevant to the third-party aircraft you select? Reason I ask is I was doing a fun IFR flight from KSEA to KTIW yesterday and first thought I'd do it in my A2A P-40, but then, before hitting fly now, switched to my A2A Mustang (Civilian) instead and, in heavy fog, with heavy dark clouds at altitude, with GPS on and in VC view mode, got an OOM right at landing. Hello, I have Orbx PNW and am thinking about adding the remaining NA regions to my scenery library (Northern Rockies, Central Rockies, and Pacific Pfords). If I have all four active at the same time, how likely will I receive an OOM error? Does anyone else have all four? Please see specs to the right. Thanks, James

When using REX in flight sim I keep getting a popup from FSX that said " FSX has failed to load the weather" or something along thoes lines....but rex still sucessfully injects the weather, I guess my question is, how do i get that message to stop popping up?

Well, I have just completed my first OOM test flight at UK2000 London Heathrow Xtreme (in DX9 mode), and the results are rather significant. I disabled ALL AI planes (UT2 and FSX), but kept all of my scenery detail sliders at maximum, and activated UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme (GO Xtreme detail level), Gatwick Xtreme (GO Xtreme detail level), London City Xtreme, Stansted Xtreme, VFR London X (with Very Dense and Extremely Dense scenery BGLs removed), VFR Airfields Volume 1, FSX Power Project (pylon network and wind turbines), ES Treescapes Autogen at Extremely Dense, and REX Essential clouds (Medium Density, scattered 3/8, and 1024x1024 resolution textures) and water (advanced …

I've been adding 3rdpsrty scenery and moving the priorities around and suddenly noticed that the "default scenery" layer ended up in the middle of the "base0000...base1107" priority list. I can't remember whether as installed the "default scenery" was above or below the "base...". Can anyone help me out on this? RDS

Hello everyone! Something strange with FsPassengers!!! :blink: Look, when I showed for passengers my custom "EMIRATES Safety Video" I taxi to runway and take-offed from UUEE to UUDD (It's My test flight with my POSKY 777-200) I started to show movies after take-off and after few seconds, FSX crashed to desktop without freezing, restarting FSX and Windows Fatal Error! I thought it's my house lose electric power, but it didn't. :huh: I've always this inside my house! I cannot register to FsPassengers forum, because I've forbidden to access this page error! So installed this a while back and removed it because it introduced some instability. At lease I think I removed it. Does default FSX have a d3d9.dll? I have one that is dated 04/10/2012 and is 248kb. I also have a d3d9.fx file dated 01/09/2012 and is 12kb. Are these default FSX files. To further confuse things, or at least me, I also have an enbseries.ini file. I assume this is not default? Which of there do I totally remove to uninstall ENBSeries?
