Hello I have seen replays online where Ai Aircraft are seen in the air However my replays don't have any Ai. Are the ones online not replays but live footage/ recorded with anothwr program or do I have a system error? Cheers

Hi all, I've noticed Virtavia is having a half-off sale until the 20th and I am considering picking up one or two of their products. I was looking at the B-1B and the F-105, and was hoping some of you had some opinions on them. I'm not looking for the best of the best, but I would like good graphics and something that represents the real thing correctly in terms of sounds, FDE, etc. Being able to start it up would also be nice. Hopefully the opinions are good, it'd be nice to have a decent Vietnam jet..

I don't know which uninstaller did it, but many times after uninstalling scenery I noticed a lot of addons don't work right anymore, or completely crash when trying to load them, such as Reality XP avionics. The fix is to run the Flight1 registry entry program. But why does this happen? What makes an uninstaller remove the fsx registry location?

In the PMDG forum there was this post that got me thinking: From your personal perspective, which are the products or discoveries that FOR YOU meant a huge change in the way you perceive or use flightsim, a big leap forward? Perhaps brought back the joy into flightsimming again if you were losing interest? For me, as much I love it, the PMDG NGX isn't one of those. It's the best airplane add-on ever released IMO but still it's an incremental improvement over what we had before. Well, as the title says, for the first time ever I'm seriously looking at flying online. I'm just wondering if you wouldn't mind giving your pros and cons about VATSIM/online flying. At the moment I only fly the NGX. I will probably be adding the Q400 soon as well. I have been watching YouTube videos and reading up and I think I will be using FSInn. Anyone have any feedback with that combo - NGX/Q400/FSInn? Also, I have some more questions that I haven't exactly found the answers for yet in my research... -I use Opus for weather. I have PSUIPC and I'm trying to program a button on my Saitek X-52 Joystick. I'm aware that two commands on one button would cause a conflict. I'm trying to slew so the plane goes straight up and stops, then control by using the arrows, but right now can't get it.

Hi all! I've never had any problems with OOMs in FSX since I switched to a 64bit OS. I have recorded a few flights (Cessna 172) flying around Ottawa and other North American Cities. My FSX is Gold Acceleration and I have installed GEX North America. When I play back the flight records, my Artificial Horizon and my turn/bank indicator do NOT move (even though they were moving properly during the flight itself.) I have unchecked the box for Lights operated manually by pilot, hoping the lights would come on on night flights. But, no, I have to turn the yoke almost to get my mouse to click on the aircraft lights. Is there a setting I could configure in a .cfg file since the GUI won't do it? Thanks

After seeing others with issues after installing the new FSUIPC, I thought I had avoided any problems, I was wrong. I had a problem loading flight plans now that I never had before, and the ONLY thing I changed was to update the FSUPIC 2 days ago. In checking the DLL.xml file it seems that FSUIPC has changed the order of, and also split some entries, so without the original I have no idea how to rebuild it correctly. Of course if I had the slightest inkling that updateing FSUIPC would have affected the dll.xml I would have backed it up......man I hate programs that do this!! Can anyone please assist? I have FSX running on Win 7. Until recently, I could hear both Engine/Ambient soudns AND ATC through both my Headphones 'Triton' and speakers. These are connected to my Soundblaster card via a splitter into which the the two green jack plugs are connected. Allworked well and Mike allowed voice commands to Multi Crew Experience etc Suddenly, the ATC audio no longer plays through the headphones, only through the speakers. Engine/Ambient sounds are still working on headphones just fine, Mike still works, but out of the blue no ATC.. Can anyone advise what may have happened to the ATC sound that was previously coming through the headphon…

Hi Guys, one problem solved but another problem appear. I was recording the wake turbulence myth when I encounter a weird sudden jet sound. it appears at 00:47 and 01:03 in this video. Listen to that sudden jet bursting sound. I am sure it was not coming from the DC3. Anyone has similar bad experience with this sound, and if you have a solution please share with me? I am trying to get rid of all this FSX imperfections one by one.

I have experience this bug for years resulting in many landing crashes. I have finally record this bug. Please see 00:57 of the video. There is a sudden uncontrollable drastic bank to the left and I almost crash.... :( This happened to many aircrafts randomly, and I hope to solve it by posting it here so that anyone who have similar bad experience and have solved it can share the solution. Hi- i've done a bit of research on this topic already and still haven't really got an answer yet. As I'm taxiing into a parking space, luggage carts, cargo containers, parts of the jetway and cars in the upper lot a distance back start to fill in with a comensurate pause which is annoying as hell. i've set AntiPopup to 20 which should well cover the distance I'm describing here. Is there a way to load all of this small, close airport stuff all at once? Yes, I've read Umberto's comments on this and how this had to be done in order to keep frame rates down, but still haven't found a way to fix it. Thanks for any suggestions, Mark

I have FSX and all add ons on a WD My Book External Hard Drive ( J- Drive ) , instead of my C Drive. I would like to protect everything, so what would you recommend? I'm willing to pay for a back up storage Web site. Which is a good one? Thanks

I have always had this trouble but have not got round to reporting it before, as turbulence when using weather themes there is no problem, only when using Opus real weather. Is there something somehwere that I need to tick or untick? Help as always appreciated, cheers.

Just bought and installed this card. With the same settings I had in FSX with my Ati 6950 where I was getting FPS in the 20s, Im getting single digits FPS. Any ideas there is a setting I need to turn ON or OFF or what to do? The card works fine in other games and simulators, so Im not going to change drivers.

When editing the FSX.cfg file 1. does it matter if there are empty lines between entries? 2. is the syntax sensitive to upper case vs lower case? 3. can you include some kind of non-alphanumeric character for formatting purposes, such as an underscore line ________________________________________________ 4. is it possible to repeat sections throughout, or do all the instructions of a certain type have to be grouped together example -- is it permissible to do something like this: [display] WideViewAspect=True [main] disablepreload=1 [display] upper_framerate_limit=30

Hi i have never used this tweak before. I woud like to know how to get wideviewaspect=true not to look so stretch out when looking to the right or left with Track IR. Someone suggested that by getting the correct zoom setting for my monitor it might reduce that effect from wideviewaspect. Does anyone know what is the correct zoom setting for a 32" LCDTV Monitor ? An how to reduce that effect from looking so stretch out when you are in VC of any aircraft?

I'm trying to learn the 777 JB Panel and I seem to have some hydraulic faults that I can't figure out. The attached screenshot shows most everything, but I can't figure out why the center tank is not getting any pressure. Any suggestions? Thank you! Tod
