Just wondering if anyone has developed an easy to follow checklist for the dash 8 as yet? Someone created the pmdg NGx checklist when that was released which was great and I use on fs kneeboard 2 on my iPad Cheers

This is my first post, so hello everyone! I have an annoying problem with FSX Gold Edition. If I start at the Free Flight Page and try to change the current location to UK, I get "Wales" under State/Province with just one airport (Tremorfa Foreshore EGFC). So, I have to change from "Wales" to "Any" and then I get the full list of UK airports, which is what I wanted in the first place! Is this a known anomaly, please? Is it possible to delete "Wales" so I can go straight to "Any"? Many thanks for any assistance. (I did search AVSIM and Google but no result.)

Hi all, Just wanted to take a moment to personally thank everyone for such a great weekend at the Avsim fancon. Everyone I met were just great friendly, down to earth people. I also had the opportunity to spend some time speaking with Robert @ PMDG as well. What a great guy. Hi all, When trying to load EGLL or any other UK airport from free flight, FSX stops responding. Any idea why this might be happening or a good place to start looking. Starting a flight from any other airport works fine. I've had FSX for a couple years now with no problems such as this. Thanks a lot for any help. Brian-

Hello, For some reason, my q400 bounces when i first load a flight and starts twirling around in the air. I have to reset it each time I load a flight to prevent this from happening. Is there a way I can uninstall the plane and reinstall it? The only option i had was to install again, which i did, to no avail. Thanks

Hi folks, My FSX is now flying over the Atlantic Ocean, from JFK to CDG. However, fsx depicts the Atlantic Ocean as solid land. I use FSGenesis mesh, UTX and GEX. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks. Hi I just uninstalled the Old Version of the Airbus using the uninstaller. I then Re-booted My pc and ran the new installer as Admin and re-started PC again No problems there. The Problem is After I run the Sound enhansment I get these Errors and FSX crashes I have re-installed a few times but problem still happens

Anyone using FS Instant Approach, and if so, would you recommend it? I like the idea of being able to quickly setup approaches-- but can't seem to find any information on how the program handles the configuration of your aircraft when it drops you into the approach setup (especially the more demanding planes like the NGX) . Hi I run on 3 screens with 680GT NVidia Surround. I am getting the flashing cursor problem if I scroll through the virtual cockpit views, It occurs when I get to the internal view of the passenger cabin and OR the view out the front with NO VC. It is usually associated with 2d panel view but this plane dosnt have them. Its not a major issue as I just have to remember not to scroll too far with the "a" view key , but wondered if anyone out there has come up with a solution? regards Steve

My friend is having this problem where whenever he is running FSX where his Mouse cursor starts skipping when he moves it. He could try to move his cursor to one side of the screen and while he is doing it the mouse moves slowly over in steps pausing as he does it. It only happens when FSX is running. Any idea why this might happen? Another side note, it started after he installed the Captain Sim 777 but even after re installing it the problem has remained. Thanks for the help!

I can not find the answer to this question within the FSX Hardware/Software Guide. I have installed a new separate HD on my PC and as suggested and have re-installed FSX on that HD as a folder simply named FlightSimX. I use both FS9 and FSX because of payware aircraft that I purchased for FS9. My question is this: I need Squawk Box or FSInn in order to fly multiplayer. When I download either of these modules, will they automatically find the two FS programs? Should I install twice--one on drive C: where my FS9 is located and a 2nd on the new drive? Hi I need help with this. I have: FSX computer itself A laptop is in my home build cockpit 2.5meters away from the fsx computer I am needing to have the messegnes toolbar in fsx in my laptop. Because of the lengh beween the fsx computer and the cockpit is hard to read 2.5meter away :( I have look at wideview but the program only handle views not instrument. Do you have any tips? Hi, Am trying to plan a route from Norfolk (KORF) to Philly (KPHL) in the Q400. I went to Flight Aware and found the route which is shown as "SCHOL-SBY200-J121-SWL-JIIMS2". Can't figure out what SBY200 is since it doesn't seem to be in the FMC data base. It just seems to be a strange designation. Anybody have an idea what it is? I can't enter the J121 airway because SBY200 doesn't appear to be a valid starting point. Any clarification on this would be appreciated. Jim

just did fresh install of fsx with acceleration. on my previous install, i had all my saitek yoke/rudder/throttle settings assigned through registered copy of fsuipc. only thing that was assigned through FSX was the hat switch to allow for panning the view. now, however, as i attempt to do the same thing, every time i start FSX the default settings return through FSX. i have checked my permissions and access stuff in the folder properties. all is well there. i really dont want to assign the pan view to fsuipc because its not as smooth. im just not sure why it worked before and now it wont. i have searched the fsuipc forums and google and no one can seem to find an answer …

I own the pmdg 737 ngx and i love that plane, now i want to add a 2nd plane to my hangar and would like something that can match this quality and is slightly bigger. So i prefer a good 757-767-777 or an a340 maybe.. Are there any good ones out there ? I know it can propably not match the pmdg 737ngx, but is there any plane close to this? I fly with FMC so that one is mandatory. Or maybe it is best to wait for the pmdg 777 ? any word on how lang that will be ?
