March 24, 201313 yr I have always had this trouble but have not got round to reporting it before, as turbulence when using weather themes there is no problem, only when using Opus real weather. Is there something somehwere that I need to tick or untick? Help as always appreciated, cheers. March 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member The Opus intelligent turbulence effects requires both the Live Weather Engine and Live Camera. The LWE supervises the turbulence effects by determining the strength and frequency of the effects based on the meteorological conditions around your aircraft. All turbulence effects however are controlled by the real life DHM Turbulence and Bump Aircraft options. These effects are associated directly with Live Camera views, mostly for virtual cockpits. So to see the intelligent turbulence effects you must create VC camera views for your aircraft and enable the DHM options for those views. You do not need the FSX turbulence and thermal option unless you wish to see wing flex and other FSX effects (exaggerated ASI and VSI fluctuations for instance). Stephen
March 24, 201313 yr Author Hi Stephen, thanks for the speedy reply and explanation. So if I continue to use Ezdok, then I will not experience turbulence with real weather? March 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member True, its only the cooperation and coordination between the LWE, which knows the exact meteorological conditions during the flight, and the LC interface with its DHM based on actual real life captured 3D accelerometer data, recorded on board actual light aircraft and B737-800s, that can create the real life turbulence effects, including clear air turbulence (CAT) effects. March 25, 201313 yr Hi Howard, I have to say I was very reluctant to swap from EZdok to Opus cams, but trust me you won't regret it. I use them all the time now. March 25, 201313 yr Author Hi Mike, nice to hear from you. Can you post a link to your vids. I have to say I think I'll make the change, as I've never been able to get proper camera shake to work in Ezdok. Apart from that, it's unnecessarily complicated IMO. March 25, 201313 yr Howard you need only to enable the 'DHM' within your EZCA settings. CTRL+D will reveal all. George T

Left EZDOK behind me like the camera effects of OPUS in combination of the WX :-) Real easy to configure :-) Tip: disable EZDOK in the dll.xml file from false to true and you can easily revert back if you don't like it... Cheers, André

Michael, I'm either dim or not seeing what's in front of me.. I haven't changed an xml file before. What do I have to do for it to allow me to edit the text?
