  1. and a perfect BATC vectored approach supported by FSFO: Wild Ride Into Vagar
  2. Wild ride into Vagar with BATC 🫣🤪
  3. I use BATC at least twice everyday, I have used it since release and watched it grow and mature. "Beyond ATC is just not there yet"; Yes that's stated clearly on their website and in the application, as Vincent mentioned above, they have a roadmap and are following it explicitly. I very rarely get a problem except with airports such as Paro, 99% of the time ATC instructions are perfect and with the addition of "Local Voices" I don't have to spend any money because they are not only free but almost on par with Premium Characters. I have never had or have been given the impression that the devs are "out to make money". And with excellent support and very regular updates (in experimental) I am extreamly happy with not only the current state of BATC, but also it's future. So I would like to publicly thank the Dev's for their dedication, generosity and hard work in bringing us flight simmers IMHO one of the best (and getting better) add on's for MSFS EVER!
  4. Reality Is For People Who Can't Handle Simulation!
  5. You can also find in the SimBrief flight plan and switch to ATIS within a 100 miles of the arrival airport
  6. You're having a laugh!😜 I run a 8 year old Ryzen 7 and a NV 3060 @2k with (ready): BATC, FSLTL, FSFO, REX Atmos Core, GSX, MSFS2024 Map Enhancment, MobiFlight (for my Octavi) Flight Panels (for my Stream Deck) and MSFSAuto FPS and get an average 55fps! (and no stutters)
  7. MSFS 2020 or 2024? Also, try here for help: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1571953959750565 . Copy the folder you downloaded into "community" (the folder above community24)
  8. Hi John, BATC will not give you the arrival airport for the obvious reason i.e. whether/wind change at the arrival airport unless you are almost at TOD, however if you open the "windy" website, the latest version shows you "which way the wind blows" (see what I did there 🙃)>>> https://www.windy.com/airport/EGSS?51.881,0.223,8
  9. "Sorry, I don't like it. For full disclosure, I am a casual user. I don't fly all the time, nor do I know anything about piloting." I'm pretty sure your opening statement also answered your question?!
  10. Or by using the windy app, which now shows a visulisation of the runway wind direction.
  11. Don't use other peoples brains to do "your" thinking!
  12. I have tested both of these with GSX Pro in MSFS 2024 and they both work perfectly. I would advise making a shortcut to your GSX sound folder as the new sounds might be replaced when you update GSX Pro (which happens often). 15. I've already got my name down for one of these 😜:
  16. Star Citizen has progressed from good to great and is now verging on "Awsome!". Added to which is the upcoming release of Squadron 42 with an opening battle sequence of more than an hour (depending on how good you get). It also runs amazingly well on my Nvidia 3060 using Vulkan. As an original backer I have seen every glitch, crash, high and low point throughout it's development and I'm fairly confident in saying not only is it the most expensive game ever made but it will (probably) be (up until now) the best game ever made!
  17. The combination of MSFS 2024 Real weather, Chaseplane, FSRealisticPlus and Real Turb gave me the most realistic in cloud turbulance I have ever experienced! And I have 30+ years as a flight simmer.
  18. And with FS Realistic Plus it goes from Awesome to Incredible 😉
  19. HEADS UP! the latest MSFS Sim Update 5 beta has broken, FSFO, BATC and Chaseplane for me.
  20. Write, record and release an American Country and Western song which will compete with the best? You be the judge: Noah Roots, Those Glory Days:
  21. What was it like? the "Humble Pie", I mean, I bet it tasted better than the "foot in mouth" did for afters...................
  22. ChatGPT:- Here you go, Mike — this is exactly how to get smooth cinematic transitions in ChasePlane for MSFS 2024 without jerky camera jumps. 🎥 Smooth Cinematic Transitions in ChasePlane 2024 (Best Settings) ChasePlane can produce beautifully smooth, professional-looking transitions — but you need to tweak a few key settings. ✅ Step 1 — Enable Cinematics Mode Open ChasePlane → Cinematics Make sure: Cinematics Mode → ON This enables the automated smooth camera sequencing system. ✅ Step 2 — Set Long, Smooth Transition Times Go to: Preferences → Camera → Cinematics Adjust: Change camera angle every: 👉 20–45 seconds (sweet spot for cinematic pacing) Automatic camera motion: 👉 30–50% (Lower = smoother, higher = more movement) Zoom offset: 👉 0 to -5% (Avoids aggressive zoom jumps) ✅ Step 3 — Enable Smooth View Transitions (VERY Important) Go to: Preferences → Camera → Transitions Set: Transition Speed: 👉 Slow Transition Smoothing: 👉 High This removes the snap switching effect. ✅ Step 4 — Per-Camera Smooth Movement (Often Missed!) Each camera view has its own smoothing values. For any camera: Click Edit Camera Set: Movement Speed: Low – Medium Camera Weight / Inertia: Low Acceleration: Low This makes view switching glide instead of snap. 🎬 Cinematic Sweet Spot Preset (Copy This) If you want a ready-made setup: Camera change: 30 sec Motion amount: 35% Transition speed: Slow Smoothing: High Camera inertia: Low Camera acceleration: Low This gives: Smooth gliding transitions Natural camera drift Zero harsh snaps 🔥 Pro Tip — Ultra Smooth Video Transitions For recording cinematic footage: Disable camera physics Disable head movement Use only Cinematics mode This gives buttery-smooth drone-style camera motion. If you'd like, I can give you my best cinematic profile setup for: ✈ Airliners (PMDG / Fenix) 🛩 GA aircraft 🚁 Helicopters 🎬 YouTube cinematic recording Just say 👍
