Aviation and Flight Sim Video Forum
Have a real world or simulator video that you would like to show to the community? Here is the place you can do so. Please, no links to monetized content on other sites e.g. YouTube, Rumble, etc. "Monetized" means you or someone else is being paid for views and/or the video solicits people to subscribe to a channel where the content provider(s) is/are being paid for views. See the pinned topic at top of forum for additional guidance. Videos must be embedded in your topic. We want to be able to just click the start video arrow.

Jerrie Mock (1925 - 2014) in 1964 was the 1st woman to fly solo around the world. She flew a single-engine Cessna 180. Mock did what Amelia Earhart failed to do when she vanished in her twin-engine aircraft in 1937. Come along for the ride, at least part way from the USA to Egypt. Hope you enjoy. Cheers. Note: I do all the research for my videos & the words are all mine. I run my words through an AI voice (an Australian male because that's what I am!) for those who want to listen as well as look.

Trafford Leigh-Mallory, a rather divisive character, was a WW1 RFC pilot & a key RAF Commander in WW2 Battle of Britain. He became Air Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) for the WW2 D-Day Landings. Finally, he was appointed as Air C-in-C of WW2 SE Asia Command (SEAC). This video covers his tragic flight in his Avro York to take up the SEAC appointment. Hope you like. Cheers. Note: I do all the research for my videos & the words are all mine. I run my words through an AI voice (an Australian male because that's what I am!) for those who want to listen as well as look.

MSFS 2024 classifies Stansted (EGSS) in the United Kingdom as a world famous airport in their precision landing challenge series. I though great let's go see a famous airport in London. It was a long boring approach over farmer's fields. Can someone please tell me why anyone would think Stansted is famous? Admittedly the agrarian scenery was beautiful. Is this what Stansted is famous for? The approach in was so boring that I almost fell asleep and narrowly missed crashing into a farmer's field.

I finished my hangar and updated my my simpit from previous seen videos and just wanted to show all who are interested in getting ideas on building a simpit or place to house one in a new video. For the hangar, I poured and epoxy floor and redid the walls and lighting to give an executive hangar look. The only thing left to do in the future is put a roof mount a/c on. as for the simpit, its the extra 430/kln90 gps, Comanche flap bar and a few other items that have been added or switched out.

Paro, Bhutan is rated one of the most dangerous airports to fly into. Special pilot training and authorization is required as a wild drop in to the Paro Valley is necessary. An initially blind VFR S-turn must be negotiated on final to RW 15.

In 2015 Michael Smith, an Australian businessman, fulfilled his dream of flying around the world. He did so in a SeaRey amphibious aircraft – the first solo seaplane circumnavigation of the world. With only a single engine, no autopilot, & limited flying experience, he was perhaps lucky to survive the experience. Come follow along in MSFS from Melbourne, Australia to London, UK. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

Serving the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa, Toncontín International Airport (MHTG) is ranked as one of the top 3 most extreme and difficult International airports in the world to land at. Challenges include a short 6,631 foot runway with a displaced threshold, inclement weather, extreme mountainous terrain and an approach to RW 02 which requires a skilled circle to land procedure through valleys, where you have to find an airport that is not visible due to being hidden by the mountains.
