What on earth caused a Cessna Citation business jet to return to its departure airport 10 minutes later, & then crash & burn on late final, killing all on board, including a family of 4. We won’t know the answer until the NTSB investigates, but considering the possibilities provides some early useful re-inforcing of safety lessons.

PAJN, Juneau Alaska is one of the most difficult airports to land at. Nestled between mountains with a runway that is 15 degrees offset from the final approach course. Add wind and bad weather and it is easy to see why this is not an airport pilots look forward to landing at. iFly 737 Max in Alaska Airlines livery.

The 737 Max is not authorized to land at Aspen (KASE). It is too large, too heavy and too fast. The Aspen airport has a very narrow runway. The FPA on final for Rwy 15 is 6.59 degrees or 1,872 fpm at 160 knots. Since this sounded very challenging, I gave it a try. The terrain is beautiful.

Come challenge yourself to land & take-off from 8 bush strips, while enjoying the sights in between the strips, in the UNESCO World Heritage Area of Milford Sound, New Zealand. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

The Boeing 737 Max 8 is not allowed to land on Runway 33 at KASE because of the aircraft's size and the dangerous terrain due to the tight mountain valley. Runway 33 for an airliner like the 737 is the US equivalent to Paro, Bhutan. Let's give it a try.

First flight of the iFly 737 Max in MSFS 2024 for me. A little different than other add-ons in terms of cockpit interactions. The iFly 737 is a little buggy as it is experimental. Navigraph charts and maps won’t load to the EFB and not all functions work with my Flight Panels and Strean Deck+ peripherals. It does fly much better than an Asobo 737. I like the flight characteristics of the PMDG Boeings better, as they feel more like a real simulator.

Really cool to see the checkerboard and rabbit on this famous approach. PMDG 777.
