Aviation and Flight Sim Video Forum

Have a real world or simulator video that you would like to show to the community?  Here is the place you can do so.  Please, no links to monetized content on other sites e.g. YouTube, Rumble, etc.  "Monetized" means you or someone else is being paid for views and/or the video solicits people to subscribe to a channel where the content provider(s) is/are being paid for views.  See the pinned topic at top of forum for additional guidance.  Videos must be embedded in your topic.  We want to be able to just click the start video arrow.

  1. We fly the A2A Comanche 250 for the first time with a quick demonstration of the takeoff and landing perspective at one of the world's dangerous airports - Lukla, Nepal (VNLK - Tenzing-Hillary Airport) in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. As a real world pilot, the immersion in this aircraft made me feel as though I was in my own airplane! Apart from the physical forces you feel while flying, this aircraft is the closest representation of flight that you can achieve. If you haven't flown this airplane in the sim, you are missing out on the best experience of flight on the home computer. Congrats A2A Simulations on this wonderful aircraft.

  2. Funchal, Madeira, runway 05, is one of the most challenging airports in the world, requiring pilot authorization to land there. Strong winds, wind shear and landing on the side of a mountain make this airport famous. I attempt a landing in a 737-800 by PMDG.

  3. In 1985 USA super-star Ricky Nelson’s WW2 DC-3 crashed & burned after blinding smoke filled the cockpit. The 2 pilots escaped, but all the passengers - Nelson, his fiancee & 5 band members - died in the burning aircraft. Nowadays there is an Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) which allows pilots to see their basic instruments through the smoke. In this video we discuss both the crash & EVAS. Hope you find this interesting.

  4. Funchal is one of the most difficult airports to land at. Special pilot authorization is required. This is the MSFS 2024 Strong Wind Precision Landing Challenge at Funchal, Madeira. The landing challenges are quite fun. You are set up and flying in 5 minutes.

  5. For all the VFR pilots! Nearby airports and directions included! Neuschwanstein Castle - Germany Dover Castle - England Bojnice Castle - Slovakia Hohensalzburg Fortress - Austria Pena Palace - Portugal Hohenschwangau Castle - Germany Erenberg Castle - Austria Trakoscan Castle - Croatia Hohenzollern Castle - Germany Frederiksborg Castle - Denmark

  6. On 15 Jul 2025 in Australia, a Beechcraft Debonair crashed & the pilot died, after flying VFR into IMC. This all too frequent situation was particularly shocking because the pilot was not qualified for cross-country or instrument flying, & in worsening weather & rising terrain he passed by 2 airports just moments before the crash.

  7. This is a great video for learning multi engine. Just read the comments and look at the thumbs up rating. Additionally, You will want to learn "The Drill" which is best presented in this video series Part one and two.

  9. Started by DefragDad,

I’ll post the occasional video here in this thread (instead of opening a new thread for each video), I try to keep the flicks coming as often as I can (with full time job, wife+kids, cat, house and all that beautiful stuff taking priority ) Hope you have a little bit of fun with this. Thanks! There’s the first one:

  10. Started by Joshua757,

I used to see many 747s at LHR in the last decade... Now happy to see one! Happy New Year !

  11. Happy New Year Everyone!

  12. Hi Everybody, Just finished working on my stutters / flicker, seems I cannot use X-Plane 12 vsync. Much smoother run into LA, a hard hitting area for flight sim.

  13. Since the release date of the PMDG 737-800 for MSFS 2024 in Market Place is unknown, I am relegated to flying the iFly 737 Max 8!!!
