The manual shows two modes for the EGPWS terrain display, standard and standard+peaks. Has anyone found out how you switch between the two. Mine shows standard+peaks and I'd like to switch to standard mode. The only controls I've found switch between WxR and Terrain display and disable terrain. Also the control panel can be used in metric and imperial/US units, but the sim only seems to show imperial/US. Seems daft to allow weight and balance to be prepared in kilograms and then only use pounds in the sim. Have I missed something? Can't ask in the Majestic forum yet as I'm still waiting for them to approve my registration.

The popularity of freeware seems to be nothing like it was with FS9. Is it just me and my imagination?

Does anyone know where I can download the Alphasim Beale AFB scenery? I have Googled it and never found a download site.They said it was sold to Virtavia and then to a Team SDB. I found an addon but want the main scenery. Thanks, Bob.

From the VC captain view I can't see them until it's too late. If I zoom in then I can't see the instruments. What can I do? Thank you.

I did not see a specific subforum for Eaglesoft, so I will post here. Anyways I have a few questions to anyone who understands the Citation X addon well. 1.) Autopilot will not hold route, once a waypoint appears to have been passed, the aircraft begins to deviate away from the course instead of proceeding to the next waypoint, unless I delete the previous waypoint everytime. 2.) Why is there not any information regarding distance, time, ETE, etc on the MFD? 3.) VNAV mode: the vnav climb remains constant regardless of altitude, forcing me to resort to a manual climb. Hello! I'll fly the advanced tutorial right now, but i'm having a problem. I have copied the tutorial files (.exe .mj1 .mj2 .wx) in my Flight Simulator X Files folder. But when i open FSX and press Load i don't see any Flight, only Previous and Start. I have Windows 8 x64 (Spanish). And have two folders FSX Files, one in English and one in Spanish. I suspect that NGX created the English one. But i neither see any NGX Flight tutorial ... I have the Q400 files in both folders.

...With RXP instruments after a while (around an hour), the autopilot with NAV selected, slowly becomes off course. At first I thought it was the precessing bug, so I've pressed D but it's not working. Any ideas?

Looking for a program that will decompile and recompile cab files from FS9 & FSX, so that I may edit them correct if there is a problem, or to create and add new cab files. I know that winrar and various other compressors will decompile but they wont recompile. Looked everywhere on the net cant seem to find any that work. Not familiar with MS cab sdk or any C++, so need a program that is just click and use, simple. Aircraft designers must know of such a program that can assist me. Thanks Ron

I bought NavDataPrio a few months ago. I bought a single data set (12-13). I reinstalled my PC today and also want to reinstall that cycle but the ONLY option I have is to download 13-05...? Which I can't because I am not entitled... How can I get a hold on the 12-13 dataset which I am entitled for...?!? Anyone knows how to get this done?

The majority seems to be comfortable with locking FPS @30 although there are (few?) people prefer unlock it as it gives smoother performances and higher frame rate. Is there anyone here who has it unleashed and happy with it (without spike, stutters, etc)? I'm also interested in knowing if someone has it locked and unlocked depends on the area.

I love the F-15, saw it at the Houston airshow and it was such a beautiful and powerful plane. It has also showed the world how capable the USAF is, which I am proud of! So, Milviz has released an F-15E, and it looks really nice. Before purchasing it, I have a few questions. So I saw that you can shoot down other planes. Is this true? Does this mean I can shoot down anything I want, (ex. a Air Koryo Tupolev on final at Pyeongyang?) How do you navigate? Does it use TACAN? Is acceleration necessary for this plane? Is there some sort of add on or something that hides the default aircraft? I never use them anymore.

Not sure how long this has been going on, but I noticed the phenomenon tonight while playing with SweetFX settings (including after removing SweetFX so that is not the cause). If I load up a saved flight that was saved in spot view and fly around everything is fine. Then I go into the VC, again things are fine. No fps issues, and GPU usage up to around %40 or so maybe, even in the ORBX PNW scenery both over Seattle and towards the mountains and also over a generic default scenery such as around KSAC. However, if I stay in VC view and fly around for a bit, then go back to spot view that's when the weirdness happens. GPU usage shoots up to between 70-90% depending on wher…

Can collision detection be turned on in FSX? I know the airport traffic can crash your plane. How about some punishment for bad pilot who fly too low and gets run over by cars? That will be very real. It does happen in real life. I simulate the effect with this incidental flight I just did...captured on tape.

We already have two good B767-300s by LDS and CS. The 767-200/300 models are nice, but they are kind of old school. Plus, the LDS and CS 767 are getting old... graphics are starting to become a bit dated. No one has ever made a high quality 767-400 for MSFS, which is quite strange since it is such a beautiful plane, larger than the -300 and it also has a much more modern and attractive flight deck than the 200 and 300 models. So my question is, what do you guys think of the B767-400, and, will a high quality developer ever make one for FSX?

I'm not sure if this has been answered or not....at least I couldn't find anything on it. Is there a way to shorten, or remove entirely, the camera label from appearing in the upper right corner through the camera.cfg file? It's always been annoying for me when taking screenshots, especially when you think you have a cool angle lined up, but then the label takes forever (well maybe 10 seconds) to disappear.

Unfortunately, I cannot find it on avsim or flightsim. I remember that I had in my old dead laptop a great freeware FSX KFLL scenery that showed gate numbers and airline logos on each jetway. Can anybody remember the name of the software developer for this freeware KFLL scenery for FSX use so that I can try to trace it on internet and get the scenery?
