The NOAA GRIB Data site is down at the moment (for UK access and possibly other areas) so if you are experiencing a problem downloading the weather then best set the Max Cruise Altitude to 0 for the time being if you are using Adjust Options Automatically, otherwise turn the GRIB option off to use the simulated winds. To accommodate this problem in the future, I am going to report the progress and status of the GRIB data download in the Spy window and within the Opus Lower and Upper Weather Reports. Hi Stephen/Cheryl, I have just installed the latest beta 3.13.1 and lost all my camera views! I have also just tried to create new views for the Aerosoft Airbus X but I can not save the camera's. Just to confirm I have used "all" the betas up till now, without any problems. I also always follow the un-install/re-install routine....help!

Hi all, After buying the Wilco CRJ Vol.1 a few days ago, I'm still having one problem: the APR button on the AP doesn't work. Everything else works fine, and I can fly inbound on the LOC with NAV, but APR simply won't engage. When pressed, it lights up for less than a second and then reverts to NAV. So again, NAV lets me fly the LOC, but without APR, there's no way to capture the G/S. I also know that the G/S is active because I can see the G/S diamond moving. Any ideas? I'm reluctant to reinstall the CRJ, due to a number of repaints, but will do it if it's been known to fix issues like this.

Ok so im getting very frustrated. I am having the random bouncing problem again after updating twice! Everytime I begin to taxi the aircraft jumps violently up into the air. I updated about a week ago and it seemed to fix the issue, but now it's doing it again! Im not sure if its a conflict with an addon or something but Im not flying the Q cause of this!! Please help if you can!!

I run FSX with ASA2012 and, as far as I can remember, I'm running the default runway and VASI lights. I have REX for water textures but the runway lights etc are not enabled in it. I'd be grateful for suggestions on how to deal with the nonsense in the pic. How do I go about making these look realistic? I am flying the Carenado Archer and tried to tune in the ATIS for my local airport which is 111.6 according to an approach plate. It won't let me tune in the frequency. It keeps jumping from 118 the lowest to 132. It will only tune in in a NAV frequency window. Any ideas how to get an ATIS for KAVP? Thanks. Tom

Hey all, I am having a strange issue, purchased ORBX KJAC and its awesome but my clouds are always on the ground, removed scenery and used default same issue, if i put clear skys naturally no clouds, soon as i move the slider to few clouds clouds are on the ground, am i missing something. Also i use REX and OPUS. KJAC is the only airport i get this issue at. any help appreciated, Thanks Arslan D

So its a great addon and fun to use but I'm having a difficult problem figuring out the most efficient way to use it. With default FSX cameras I just switched categories and cycled through cameras dealing with the limitations. Now I have default FSX cameras AND ezdok cameras with seemingly not enough keyboard keys to go around. I'm curious how have you guys setup or manage all the myriad of cool and functional views efficiently during your flying? Suggestions. Btw, I don't own or use a fancy schmancy 200 button joystick or custom build flight panel setup, I simply use a gamepad and keyboard/mouse.

I am hoping this is something that can be easily remedied, but for some reason when the weather is injected it affects the aircraft. If flying a small Cessna then the aircraft will sway around for a second or two. When flying the NGX, the thrust will suddenly increase before settling down again. All very peculiar. Help, as always, appreciated.

A few days ago whilst playing fsx I spilled some water on my laptop. Thankfully though I have a waterproof keyboard protector. Still, some of the water went into the trackpad and the laptop shutoff. SInce then I've restored windows and FSX, however my addon aircrafts don't show up properly unless I have directx preview checked (only seats show up when I try to fly with add on aircrafts). Even the land and water textures disappear without directx preview enabled. With directx preview checked everything appears as normal. Any ideas on what might be wrong? THANKS! I bought Wilco's 737 Evo a few years ago and never came around to using it in FSX. Now that I'd like to fly some raw data SIDs and STARSs in 737 Evo I'd like to ask a few questions about it : 1. What was the last official patch for it? My version shows 737PIC_Evo_DLX_FSX_12.exe 2. Where there any improvements to the flight characteristics, gauges, cockpit textures etc? 3. Hi all , I'm trying to install aicarriers 2 & its saying java runtime isn't on my pc& cancel the installer until java is present , problem is that java is on my pc which is win 7 64 bit , I tried installing java runtime again & got the same message from the installer. Hi Guys, I've got a simulator setup consisting of 4 pc screens and one pc running windows 7. I use this setup to run the default 172 with the top three panels with the 3D view and a lower fourth panel for a 2D panel. Now in messing around with the screens someone has either deleted or moved the 2D panel and I can no longer grab it. On the screen that should have a 2D panel on it is just a view to the ground below as if the panel is transparent(its not). This happens with all default aircraft including a paid 152 addon. I don't want to reinstall FSX as it was a pain to get it all to work and don't want to have to do it all again. How do I resolve this? is…

Hello All For some strange reason, default ATC seems to perpetually quote the wrong runway direction at UK2000's London Stansted. So for example, last night ATC was verbally instructing all a/c to t/o and land on runway 04, but they were all actually using the opposite end, 22 - which would be the correct end based upon the ATIS report of 190' wind direction. Hence, it's just the verbal instruction that's wrong, not the actual action itself. Any one seen this before - perhaps not at Stansted, but at any where else ? Any help much appreciated. Gary

My engine sounds are entirely too loud. I went into settings and put all but the tower on the lowest setting... The sound ( Engine ) inside the cocpit is so loud i cant hear the tower talk.. I have tried everything... Any Ideas?

I am trying to add AI traffic to FSX and am having some issues. I downloaded all of the packages from WOAI and installed those no problem. The problem is they do not have American Eagle. I have found several American Eagle packages on AVSIM but can't for the life of me figure out how to install those. I think my biggest problem is they do not include the aircraft models or textures.

Hi everyone! Finally got my FSX to work properly on windows 8. But it keeps on opening in a separate window when I start a flight and I don't want that. Tried just about everything. Any ideas? Maybe I should edit something in the fsx.cfg file? Thank you!

good morning gents. I have ultimate traffic 2 and for example when on finals, or at a large airport when looking at the ai aircraft from a distance are a grey/white (textureless) colour. When I hit the + key (next to backspace) to zoom in sim then paints them. is there a setting in the fsx config that does this, if do I want to lower it so I can see the textures from further away. As always many thanks in advance.
