Any software for FSX that controls weight & fuel on the fly. I kinda hate the default fsx menus, so wondering if altering the weight could be done without entering the fsx menu?

I have just completed a fresh re-install of FSX onto its own dedicated ssd. I have tweaked fsx.cfg with BP=0, HIGHMEMFIX=1 and TML=4096. I have set FPS to unlimited in FSX and set external limiter to 30 fps in NI. Start FSX and get erratic fps spikes 20-30-60-single digits - its all over the place. Tried locking fps to 30 fps in FSX but still getting crazy fps spikes. I don't understand what is causing this. How do you achieve a steady 30fps??

Hi , has anyone got the Aerosoft Trotter Extended working with nvida surround over 3 monitors? (680GTX) I am interested in buying it this weekend, but Aerosoft will not confirm for me if it will work on a 3 monitor setup.(those with them will know the problems we sometimes get). A little disappointed about their reply “I am sorry we have no experience with this and we do not plan any support for that. It looks as though this long awaited release could happen anytime now. It appears that it is going to be a "game changer" for GA lovers for sure. It is well worth a look at the Flight 1 forums for latest information such as included Android app for input to the Garmin 1000 as well as on the fly generation of moving map for taxing within the system. It is not safe taxi but a very nice looking scaled down version of it. Like the classic Mustang, I think this will set a new standard for GA in FSX.

Hello everyone, I am having a problem for a while now and I don't seem to be able to resolve it. Forests are showing as a squares as per attached picture.I do have a GEX Europe and UTX. I tried re-installing those but it doesn't help. Any ideas how to fix this ?

Out of the blue - I've made no changes of any kind - the nav lights on all my aircraft, including AI, have turned into large squares, as have runway marker lights. Help!amd 4000+geforce 6800GT2 gig RAMFSX SP1

Hello, I have the Cerasim 412 helicopter. I am having problems with it not starting. If I load the helicopter running, I can shut it off and start it up all day, but if I save the game and come back to it later, the helicopter will not start and yes I am doing the correct start procedure. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Or how do I switch to Nav2? Nav1 is right there in the center but I'll be darned if I can find where to switch it to Nav2. This is the Just Flight free 757 btw.

I know that there is a utility that will let me close unneeded processes at FSX startup to free up memory, but I can't find it in the library. Can anyone give me vectors to it? Thanks

Hey guys, Purchased the Majestic Dash 8 today and I am having trouble getting my throttle to align. I want idle thrust to be idle in the plane, but it always goes about half reverse. I have set the values in the config manager to the value that I show as idle in the manager. Anyone have any idea how to get this working properly? Thanks.

My front view on each aircraft are too low. When I raised it with keboard it work however each time, I stich to another view like side view and return to front view it low again. Can anyone help me to make it permanent good front view? Thanks. Al

Is it possible to add scenery or afcads that is not placed in the FSX-Add on-folder? I have FSX on a SSD and I want to save space there by installing extra stuff on my second hard drive. Can I just leave the add-on scenery or add on AFCAD on the second hard drive and guide FSX there through the scenery library in FSX?

Any difference between the two? LVL CH is used in the 737 MCP FL CH in the 777. When would you use LVL CH vs ALT INV vs V/S? Thanks.

Captain Sim is what I'd say a decent developer. They aren't PMDG or MJC, but they make alright aircraft. I have their 727, their C-130, their 757, and their 767. I've never really flown the 727 much, but the C-130 and the 767 are actually pretty great planes. When their B777 was released, I heard bad things about it, which kept me from buying it. CS is a Russian company, and after buying the Aerosoft Norilsk X (which is a great addon for those who are wondering) I started to do some flying in Russia with the PMDG B738 in the S7 Airlines livery. I felt like finishing off my summer by going around the world. Using flightaware, I gained flight information for every leg of my flights. The aircraft I use reflect the exact aircraft used in real life. What I mean is, if a 737-800 is used for a route, I will use that and that only. Also, I am making sure the airline flies that exact route, just to make this more difficult. To make it more tough, I'm starting and ending at my home airport. I also will land on each continent - minus Antarctica ^_^. LS, I have the RAZBAM Skyraider installed in FSX. I think it was originally meant for FS9. It seems to work fine except for the propellor view, which is like in the accompanying picture. Could someone help me to solve this problem? Thanks very much. Regards Hanss

Suddenly, I have no control of the control surfaces of any of myi planes, neither those supplied with FS, nor any of my addons. The surfaces (ailerons, stab, etc.) either go to their stops and stay there, or they jitter, and drift slowly up and down at random. The last addon was Acceleration. It has been working perfectly now for several months, so I don't know whether to suspect it or not. Of course, I'm not ruling anything out at this point. I have two questions, actually; 1. Hi Stephen, this is a bit of a strange one. I imported the cam set from your website for the Airbus. It installed and worked fine, I added a couple more cams, left, right etc, no problem. Then in my main view i.e. Captains cam I adjusted the zoom and now I can no longer use the clickable areas! Any ideas? It's driving me nuts, all the other views are fine.

Hi i would just like to know if am running the correct setting with OPUS + REXE textures all together. For those who are running Opus for weather an REXE for textures what are your setting for REXE an what are your setting for Opus weather engine ? Do you get any performance lost when using both OPUS an REXE Textures? What option should remain active in REXE weather options when using OPUS for your main weather engine ?
