Hey guys I'm so fed up after two straight days trying to install FSX onto a W7 OS that I can only spue out the last bit of my energy here. I have tried at least the following: 1. Installing msxml.msi 2. Clean boot 3. Compatibility Mode and countless other issues, but nothing is working. I've been getting a lot of the same answers. just with variations that leads nowhere. Please, dear god, please tell me there's someone out there that can help me to install this game???!!! Hello everyone, It has been almost an year I am using FSX with all new setup that I tried... All the money I invested in my card and cpu My rig is i7 @ 4.2 Ghz , GTX 680 8 GB RAM DDR-III . And What not I have tried to make FSX run smooth(Kostas Tweaks,FSX Guide,DX10 patches) BUT it still suffers at airports like UK2000 EGLL , ORBX YMML . For me FPS is very important in flying and if you go below 25 it will ruin it totally. If I remember FS9 days it was smooth as hell with good visuals except ground texture resolution. I want to know how you guys still manage to enjoy FSX within major airports (using NGX,REX,Traffic,Complex airport-ORBX YMML,UK2000)?

Hi Guys, I have the cessna pro flight system with one quadrant. I have just got FSUIPC v4.8 registered which i thought was going to do what i need but I cannot get it working this is all I want: 1) the single throttle lever to control the single engine in a single engine plane 2) the single throttle lever to control both engines in a twin engine plane 3) dito for a 4 engine plane 4) throttle negative action (below th detent) to be configured as reverse thrusters for all 4 engines all of the above without having to hot key or change anything between aircraft types. http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ When using this when entering Phnl to Klas it gives me a route of over 10000 kms which takes me the long way round for some reason. Where as if I use another Route planner being vroute it gives me the right distance and route etc.

I want to install both programs for replacing the default FSX scenery. I doubt which program first to install. Who knows the correct order of install ?

Gentlemen, I have been googling away on this and read up and down charts, can't seem to find the info I need. I am trying to find numbers for fuel consumption for use in flight planning with the Duke. I know the Dukes maximum range and fuel tank capacity, thus can make a rough calculation with these numbers, but do anyone have some concrete numbers/formulas I can use? Hello, I am having an issue with the client LWE control. My connections are working fine, folders and permissions all set. I can do everything except when I press any of the text report buttons, like the flight plan report button, nothing happens. If I look into the Themes folder on the server machine, I can see the various reports updated. Coincidentally, when I try to exit the client application on the client machine I get an unhandled exception error and the program won't close. This will not happen if I do not attempt to press any of the text report buttons. Everything else is fine, I can process flight plans , update weather , even generate the in sim reports such a…

Hello everyone i have bought the overland plane series, and downloaded new liveries for it. I'm sure i did every step for installing texures correctly but still no liveries are showing up in the aircraft tab plaese help me :wacko:

One major difference I find, graphics-wise, between LM P3D and FSX, is the crispiness of the graphics, particularly the instrument panels. To pick and example, I load A2A's P51D very often. In LM P3D, with the same graphics settings on the simulator menus of FSX or P3D, but with much lower settings in P3D's Nvidia Inspector profile than in the one I use for FSX, the panel looks crisp and easy to read even when zoomed out. Not quite like so in FSX, where unless I zoom to read the gauges withou aliasing, everything looks a lot less crisp. What do you FSX users use, what "miracle" can you suggest so that I can get in FSX the same crispiness I get in P3D?

Hi, I usually use the real weather - update every 15 minutes option in FSX. I have never had any problems before and the temperature is usually pretty close to the real. I just downloaded the latest weather at my local airport KAVP, and the FSX weather report shows a temp of 32 deg F. It is July 2 and the actual real temp is 76. I tried a few more times and it keeps coming up 32. A little later it was 44. I double checked and July and summer are correct in FSX. Any ideas why it won't download the correct temperature? Thanks. I don't use GSX and I have no interest in it But when I load FSX (it takes a while) and then I get this annoying green display line saying "its generating airport cache...please wait" Why does it have to do that every time? .. and then my screen keeps blinking for what looks like eternity.. before I can fly. I hate that it does that. If it was doing it in the background quiety it wouldn't matter to me... As it is, FSX takes time to load..and I cannot give this virus like thing another 3 or 5 or 10 minutes to spare. I occasionally get this effect when flying outside Orbx UK , using Rex + Overdrive, is this normal or is their a setting in NVidia Inspector that may help reduce this ? Water settings on the highest setting 680gtx over 3 monitors Regards Steve

Hey, fellas, I have a question. I reinstalled FSX today like I usually do once a year,but this time around my default scenery is missing ,has anyone ever encountered this before or did I do something wrong? I reinstalled per instructions and I installed it to drive C not in (x86)! Any help or suggestions would very,very appreciated!

Anyone else run into this? I'm seeing FPS down to 6 at times, which is outrageous considering my system. This is in the PMDG MD11 with UT2. @ 100% traffic, UTX (all settings highest) + GEX. No REXE+ yet, still running a single screen @ 2560x1440. DX10, all settings maxed except for bloom and ground scenery shadows. I can peg 30 with these settings just about anywhere else (save for FSDT KJFK + Manhattan X), this is definitely a situational issue.

Hello all! :hi: As i´m a poor teenager that just got into the FS world I only have the money for the iFly + joystick or the PMDG 737 only :rolleyes: I am thinking about buying the iFly + joystick because the joystick is the most useful of the items,and since i´m tired of flying posky craft (nothing wrong with them) I also want to fly a more realistic aircraft.
