Hi Folks ! I have heavy stuttering for several seconds closing to a bigger Airports with traffic enabled. Without "My Traffic" Ai the approach is smooth. This happen 2-3 miles from an airport like KPAE and I think when the Ai will be active in those airports. This is natural or my system can not handle it very well ? If I oc my processor, this problem is remaining too, and my PC is optimised with cfg tweeks naturally. This stutters are not micro stutters and several seconds long . Any help would be good from You . THX My rig: i5-750, Ati 4890/1g, 4 GB ram.

This fix is for the interior night time texture fault with the A319/320IAE models. Before changing any files remember to back up the folders you are going tobe working with.The process is very straight forward, all you need to do is copy somefiles from the A321IAE house texture folder to the 319/20 housetexture folder.The files arecockp_mirr_Lcockp1_2_Lcockp1_Lcockp2_Lcockp3_Lcockp4_Lcockp5_Linterior_Lmisc_Lpanel_Lpanel01_Lseat1_LOnce done fire up FSX and you should now have a normal looking interior for these planes. What I would also suggest is making up a new folder for these textures so you can easily update new paints that you might install later. Sawyer

I just installed the 747, and for some reason, there are no engine fan blade textures, neither in the aircraft preview screen in FSX nor in the actual game. Also, there are some buttons on the overhead which are black. Is there any way to fix this? I have re-installed the latest version of FSUIPC, but the problem seems to persist. Edit: Never mind, I had DX-10 enabled. As soon as I disabled, the plane worked perfectly.

Looking for a 737, what's the best, payware or freeware?

Hello, hope someone can help, I setup EZDOk on my PMDG 737 NGX quite a bit ago with no major problems. Recently I have noticed that when I use the keyboard to switch between cockpit views, I use the A and S keys, before the next cockpit view I get a brief flash of an aircraft view. If I use the EZDOK studio to shift views this does not happen. If I use the Keyboard shortcut for each view this does not happen If I use the S and A keys the above described flash occurs Thanks for any help.

I am not getting any turbulence with the real weather downloads. On a warm and windy day like today I would be getting bounced all over the place in a real GA plane. Is there a setting that I am missing to activate turbulence, or does Opus just not model it accurately?

Hello, After install install FS9 planes in the microsoft games\microsoft flight simulator x\simObjects\airplanes then when starting up FSX I got this message: "There Are Multiple Objects With The Same Title Name.They Must Have Unique Title Names..." Is there cure for this problem? Thank you.

In my haste to get stuff done quickly, I've managed to 'break' part of my installation AND my FSX backup!!!!! Yeh yeh I know, stupid. I've managed to loose a few of the default FSX aircraft. Question...? If I run an FSX repair, will it reinstall my aircraft WITHOUT stuffing the rest of my customised installation? Any help much appreciated Ta!

I have been playing around with AI for quite while now, switching between Ultimate Traffic 2, WOAI and Traffic X. I have even adjusted my aircaft AI spawn amounts, but I still seem to have trouble getting decent traffic. I like to be parked at an airport with plan in hand and want to have the feel of being at a busy airport. Yes, I know to some that may be torture, but for me, it adds to the realism of taxiing and holding for other aircraft, waiting in line to take off and of course, landing at an airport and again waiting to taxi to gates, etc. When I set up a flight, I typically set a day during the week and have also experimented with various times of the day as…

I've discovered that for some unknown reason, most of the aircraft parked and/or moving around at various airports all over my FSX world are SAS planes.... I do not have any 'traffic' addons loaded. Any idea why that may be happening and is there a way of changing this to various other airlines? Thanks for any suggestions. Toni.

I am having a lot of issues with my addons and so far have not been able to get everything to work well together. I am using the 737 ngx with fs2crew. I have a saved flight plan generated with efb and I am trying to use voxatc for an ifr flight. What are the proper steps for getting everything to work together? Meaning how should I load up the flight plan and jet and in which order. So far problems I have encountered is vox having no voices at all even though they can hear me or not acknowledging the loaded flight plan. FS2crew FO refusing to start the engines even though I entered all the information, etc.

Hey guys, I was pretty much fed up with fsx default cameras so I deleted all of them from the cameras.cfg and left cockpit view and the fly-by view. I use ezdok to manage other views. Thing is, about the fly-by cam is that things always seem blurry in the background.. I recalled reading somewhere that fsx engine blurs textures when a huge zoom factor is used, so I toned down fly-by 'InitialZoom' to 0.7 and it's helping, but very slightly.. I'm just thinking what other parameters should come into play when tweaking this camera? Maybe someone already has a nice config I could use? Thanks!

Hi, does any of you have any tips of how to improve fsx frames per second??? i´m really crazy about this, because when flying with the pmdg 737 NGX in a default airport i get no more than 11 fps inside the cockpit. BUT, when flying and into an aerosoft airport, such as zurich, i never exceed 7 frames per second inside the cockpit. Thanks, tatin 98

Just coming back after a couple of month lay-off. Historically I have used both UT2 and MTX for traffic. I mainly fly GA, but I remember rarely seeing any GA traffic at the smaller fields with either of the programs. For those who only fly GA what do you do for traffic? Do you use any at all, freeware or either UT2/MTX? Thanks, John

Hi, I've been having an issue with my VRS F/A-18 and Saitek Throttles. When I attempt to takeoff on the runway, the throttles don't respond to my hardware movements. I can control the F/A-18's throttles using F1 through F4 and that's it. My throttles are calibrated and they work spot on with other aircraft. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone tested TOPCAT payload manager with the ifly to see if you get the right CG? The developer say that the only one that works it ifly's configuration manager, but I don't seem to see a difference. With fspassangers I almost continually got a CG of 23-25 and with TOPCAT I'm getting 33-36,its been a while sense if tried the ifly one, I don't like the ifly one.

My prior installation is over 5.5y old now and I'm starting out fresh on a new machine. I already own both apps, and I've already installed GEX NA, but have held off of UTX for the same region as I"m not sure if it really adds enough to warrant the installation. Also, not sure if GEX & ORBX US areas again, are best left w/o what UTX adds or takes away. Thoughts? Thanks in advance, Noel

The good: The region I've been waiting for 'all my life' has been announced by Orbx: FTX Norway South! The bad: It won't be released until the 1st quarter of 2014... Anyway, I am glad they decided to start working on Norway! They will also release Ireland in two parts btw, even before Norway. And (quite funny) they initially thought about releasing FTX The Netherlands (of all places)... I am so glad to decided to go for Norway instead!!!

Fellow simmers,I need some help. Within the last few days or so as I move my cursor across the screen it's leaving an image of it's self (to the point where I end of with 12 - 15 images of the cursor) If I change the view and return to my previous view the cursors are gone, until I move the mouse again.Any ideas why this is happening? hello, im having difficulty with voxatc, i manage to set it up in fsx but the only problem is when i speak into the microphone, it does not pick it up within the sim. Is there anything im doing wrong? many thanks.

Hello, I just upgraded my system and installed FS9 and FSX. My FS9 has plenty of AI traffic. Then, I would like to install FS9 AI traffic to FSX, I guess would save a lot of time. Since I won´t have to download and install all over again. I would like to know if all I need to do is to put FS9 AI aircraft files in the FSX aircraft directory and FS9 traffic.bgl files to FSX? Are FS9 .bgl traffic files compatible with FSX? Thank you!
