I have UT2 with the Summer 2012 schedule. Are there any more recent schedules available for this traffic add on? Sucks that I only can see AI traffic in the summer months only of year 2012. I'd like to fly during winter as well but haven't seen a recent add-on package for other seasons lately.

Hi Guys, I seem to be getting really low FPS while playing FSX. I have tried various guides on line what have recommend on forums and I still have not been able solve it. I get around 10-15fps on the ground (PMDG 737). When flying it gets even worse. If I fly the Maule it get around 25-30fps. Below is the list of Things I have installed. 1. FSX + Acceleration (Gold Edition) 2. PDMG 747 3. ORBX Australia 4. REX 5. Can anyone recommend Treescapes?

Hi! I recently installed Sweetfx, and I love it, but all of the presets here : http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/136/ I don't find very realistic. They just don't have that bright day feeling, but that really dark night time feeling as well. Does anyone have any more presets they could share with me? Thanks

Which is in your opinion the best and detailed mesh scenery for fsx world? I own FS Global 2008 but over the italian Alps doesn't seem to be so deteailed. And sincerely I don't know is there is substancial difference from FSG2010 or Ultimate vs. 2008. Honestly I must say my flight are only IFR so at high altitude I can't appreciate small differences but I'd like to know if there are other packages on the market or freeware ones that best suite for fsx world. You opinion is very appreciated

I actually have a very good computer too, so I don't see the problem. One of the weird things that happens is that it often starts off at 30fps without any problems and as I progress through a flight it keeps dropping until it reaches like 10fps. Also I think it's probably because of the aircraft that I use, for example last time I tried loading up the CLS A340-600 and even if I lowered all my display settings down it would just stay at 10-15fps. Another problem I'm having is that I really don't have a lot of autogen and scenery. Both are set to extremely dense but it's still nearly nothing. And again, dropping the autogen to even the lowest doesn't increase my fps. O…

Anyone bought it recently and can compare it to PMDG? Not seen any posts here regarding them for a while and was wondering if anyone had anything positive to report over the last 6 months or so. I maybe tempted to take the plunge based on feedback

Hi I'm new to FSX. I have begun to convert all my ai aircraft bmp 't' textures to DDS DXT1 (no alpha) - decreasing each of the resulting file sizes to 682MB. ( I don't touch the prop and 'l' textures). IMHO the resulting textures are perfectly acceptable and I can't imagine that it will do any harm to the FPS - do others do this? Cheers Jont

Private pilot graduated 25 years ago, I now can fly only on FSX. Having explored single engine then twin engine planes, I notice that all tutorials issued by Microsoft want to teach you "how to fly", but not "how to to use this $ù## software to make it fly !". Finding a keyboard shortcut to open the plane door, or the way to look inside the cabin to see beautyfull interiors we see in the magazines is written nowhere. I want now to be trained to Jet liners and read all the tutorials I find on the net or on You Tube, but they all concern 737 from PMDG. Can you tell me some good tuto for the regular FSX 737-800 ? I read some comments in regards to the Level D 757 (which looks like us coming out this year) where some naysayers were saying that flight simulation was dead. I think they are totally wrong! I've installed Scansim EKCH V.2 (Copenhagen) and it's beautiful. Problem is that it's somehow installed SAS 'static' aircraft which show at most other worldwide airports (excluding almost all other 'static' planes)..... Does anyone have a fix for this - please! Toni.

I use Ezdok, would it be possible to incorporate the Opus camera with the Ezdok camera at the same time as long as I use different keys?

Okay just wanted to get something straight. There are so many flavors of FSX over the years. If I have FSX Acceleraration, does that include SP1 and SP2? Also what exactly is Gold and Deluxe version? I thought Acceleration was the latest and includes everything?

These files of mine have been corrupted, does anyone know what they're used for and could someone please send me the original or backup that comes with the default FSX installation. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure why this is happening, but would like to get this fix. Some of the lights on my aircraft have this transparent black square around the lights. I have A2A Shockwave 3D Redux installed in case that should matter. Does anyone know how to fix this.

I am using Ultimate Traffic 2, and I noticed when flying during the night or evening hours that the lights shown off GA planes are so large. This doesn't seem to be the case for commercial planes. I took a screenshot so you can see what I'm talking about. How do I fix this? I have redux 3d lights installed and have the ai planes in UT2 using them, so not sure if this is the problem. Commercial AI looks fine, it's just the GA planes that look like this.

After every session of FSX I shut down using either "Exit Program" key or the "X" on upper right. The sim appears to close normally but 15-20 seconds later the "Flight Simulator has stopped working" box appears. I then have to press the "close the program". This occurs after every session since I did a complete reinstall of FSX. I haven't reinstalled but a few payware items (scenery, airplanes, FSUIPC, EZDOK, FSINN). . None of the threads I found on Google Search fit this situation. Any help appreciated. Neal H

Is this how it's suppose to be? At certain angles the lights on the runway don't even show up. But when I'm headed straight on and parallel with the runway, only then do I see the runway approach lights visible.

Are there any liveries for the Xtreme Prototype Lear series floating around? I checked the library and no success. Todd

Hello, For as long as I have simmed I have wondered why the great contributors to our hobby, the repainters, do not give us more information about the aircraft they paint. To accomplish such a work, it must mean a thing to the repainter. I understand that sometimes a cool looking paint is enough to get it into sim, but often there are planes from their local airport, the plane they have owned or flown. Or the historical meaning or situation of a certain paint. I´m sure there are lot of simmers like me, who would gladly accept more information about the planes we now can share via our hobby.
