Hy guys, I'd like to view PFD and ND of NGX and MD11 on my ipad, but there is no one app that can handle them. I know AirTrack, but I don't know if it works with NGX and MD11. And here on avsim I didn't find any review about it. Do you know something similar to AirTrack but specifically designed for pmdg ngx or md11? I don't like AirView or similar app. Thanks a lot in advance

Hey guys, Is there anyway to adjust the ground friction in FSX to become more realistic? You need a lot of power to get an aircraft moving in the game however (in most cases) in real life all you need to do is release the brakes and the aircraft will be moving! It'll make taxiing turboprop aircraft within the game (such as Turbine Duke and Twin Otter) much, MUCH easier. Thanks in advance for the help.

Anyone know how to make the crosshair tool I use in FS9 (chplus.zip) work in FSX? Or is there a similar tool I haven't been able to locate? It is really, really useful when making flattens and so on.. Thanks, Martin

I was pleased when I saw a tutorial on how to install the FS9 VF Farnborough, EGLF, into FSX (no air show). Hi I posted before couple of weeks ago. I run fspassengers and Air Hauler My crash detection is switched off but sometimes seems to reset to detect crashes and damage. Anyone know how to permanently disable them? Cheers Steve

I purchased opusFSX yesterday after reading a lot of good comments on it. Now I am wondering if the camera shaking option comes with it works well with Ezdok or I have to disable one of them? Thanks.

Alright....let me preface by saying that I know the RA Duke is the best. I intend on ordering said aircraft this weekend. But, besides the Duke, what do you all think is the best twin (can be piston, turbine, etc, but must be propeller driven) avaibable? I am hoping for some good FPS performance, decent graphics, and relatively in-depth systems modelling. I would fly anything from the size of the Baron on up to the King Air. Suggestions Appreciated, John

Hey folks, after quite a long time without any flying whatsoever I think of getting back. Thus I plan to spend some moeny for an GA plane which will serve for me as an flight trainer, getting familiar with everything again. As I have been away for quite a long time, I have no overview about the current addons out there. My expectations are as following: - single prop GA plane (no turboprop, I can´t really cope with them again atm) - Fast and reliable - easy to fly - good looking model (also VC) with reasonable system level I know there are quite a lot of Cessnas out there, so what shall it be?

After using Navdata updates from Navigraph/Aerosoft for various payware aircraft and programs I as wondering if there is anyway of updating the FSX Navdata. Is this at all possible? Thanks

I don't fly airbuses normally I usually fly Boeing, and my issues are in flight, the two times I get overspeed are randomly when flying at my flight altitude. Also it happens when I'm trying to descend, my issue is, the airplane goes up when it over speeds, so it's near impossible for me to figure out how to land it. Does anyone have any advice on how to counter this problem?

Hello Hope someone out there can put me out of my misery with a problem I have with FSX. I have two issues that may be related, both seem worse with add on scenery rather than the default airports. The first problem I have is that I suffer with really bad flickering but only on fences and lamp posts especially with both of the 2 add ons airports I have purchased, (UK2000 Gatwick and Luton). I have tried various configurations of AA and AF both via the CCC and in FSX itself but with no luck, I cannot enable AA in FSX directly as I suffer continuous flashing black screens, tried a reinstall with no luck. Remember the Japan Photoscenery which done Tokyo and Osaka for FS9? Well I think I stumbled upon the developer's website where you can order almost all of Japan in photoreal for FSX. http://www.flightinfo.jp/jtms/jsis/index.htm You will have to order by post (DVD) unless someone here can search google in Japanese (which I don't do even I can speak it) to find a download link. Usually though I would guess Japan does all their stuff by post anyway, even they are high tech. I'm still looking for a rendition of RJAA Narita.......

Think I am ready to buy it. Reading Aerosoft's site not clear if it requires Acceleration Pack or just SP2 or Acceleration Pack, one or the other. I have FSX basic plus SP1 and SP2 but do not have the Acceleration Pack. Am I compatible for the Twotter Extended ? Can anyone help?

Hello! I've download Lapu-Lapu Mactan Cebu International Airport Scenery and the AFCAD File of this. And then I saw some trees on the TAXIWAYS and EVEN inside of the AIRPORT!, how do I get rid of them? :( That makes the airport look unrealistic right? Hello all, Not sure if anyone else is having this problem...but with the new Flight1 B200 and using NVidia surround video I'm loosing my cursor while in the VC. Cursor works fine in 2D panels...but once you open a 2D panel I loose my ability to click in VC...I have to keep moving the cursor for about a minute or two for it to catch. It's almost like Flight1 is using old techniques to build this plane (MHO). I have the Flight1 C182, Lancair Legacy and the new SR22 from Carenado and haven't had any of these issues. Hi all , I noticed last night that when fsx has first finished loading & im in cockpit view I have surround sound , when I go to outside view it isnt & the rear speakers seem un active , is this how it should be or is something not right , I thought on my last install I did have sound from the rear speakers in outside view but now I'm questioning my sanity.

Since finding out that planes are only labeled for 10nm out, figured adding contrails or smoke would help decorate the skies a bit more. This thing worth the $15? Early version reviews say no but wonder if they were a bit harsh? Thanks for any feedback.

Since I usually try and fly RW routes, I asked the FO if I could jot down his route. Instead of that, he printed the flight plan init data. I've been revisiting the back of the hangar lately, mostly to remind myself why planes have ended up there. I buy pretty carefully, so there really aren't too many planes back there, but one in particular... I bought the RealAir Duke package intending to fly the B60 and maybe play with the turbine Duke a bit. For reasons that are obvious to anyone who owns it, a short time later the turbine Duke captured my imagination and became one of my most flown airplanes. Being an Android user I sometimes feel slighted when I see lots of apps for Apple users being developed for FSX and only a few for us lowly Android users. I realize that developers must go in the direction that will maximize their investment, but sometimes wonder if there are in fact MORE of us than they realize. So here's a chance for us to be heard on both sides and lets see what it shows. I hope this works, the preview doesn't show the Poll I created........Oh well, here goes.... Edit: Er, sorry about the title: no one would guess I am an English teacher!!! Lack of attention.... Anyone any idea how I can fix this? Cloud reflections in water keep shifting position - all visible cloud reflections suddenly jump further away or nearer, in unison. And several seconds later, again.. and so forth. In display options I have water effects at Mid 2.x. I have tried moving this to High 2.x (and also to Low and back to Med) but it doesn't permanently cure the problem (although changing the settings does seem to keep things still for several minutes afterwards - may be coincidence). I have REX installed BTW.. Thanks for any ideas.

I recenty aquired a new laptop with a Windows 8 OS. Too impatient I immediately installed FSX, and did so in the default location,Then I decided I prefered a different location. But now I find I cannot uninstall FSX. I did install SP1 and SP2 and SP2 was listed in theinstalled programs, but FSX is not listed so I cannot uninstall by the usual windows method. I then inserted the 1st disk, expecting to be able choose from install/repair/uninstall. Unfortunately these options do not show, only "install". But FSX is still installed, I checked!! What is a safe way in Windows 8 to uninstall FSX?
