After uninstalling OpusFSX I still have a camera found when right-clicking in FSX and then choosing the Aircraft menu option. In that list regardless what aircraft I'm in I have a camera called OpusFSX Aircraft View and I want to get rid of it since I no longer have OpusFSX installed but I haven't been able to find it after looking in all files I can think of having anything to do with cameras in FSX...

Hi guys, I have a strange problem in saving keyboard/button control in FSX setting menu. Using EZCA I want to delete all default assigned keys/button in FSX, so I enter in settings, controls and erase manually, one by one, all assigned keystrokes. Then click ok and all seems to works fine. When I restar fsx all keystrokes are already there, seems FSX doens't save anything. Any ideas? i am administrator of my system and have full control on files, and my FSX is installed on a separte ssd. By the way....is the a way to delete all assigned keystrokes editing a file? i don't know which is this file that contain keystrokes. Many thanks for your help.

Hi Guys, I am installing Windows 7 64bit Pro and FSX tomorrow with the NGX etc again and have a quick question. I have a SSD which is 120GB (Say 110GB usable) and a 1TB WD 7200RPM drive. I am going to put WIN7 on the SSD, should I put FSX on there too or would it be fine to put it on the normal 1TB WD drive? Thanks guys!

So I just dropped $60 on the new Flight1 Beechcraft Super King Air B200 At first, it seemed WAY to steep to buy. Way too expensive. However, I am now taking this back. This is probably The most detailed yet the most extensive rendition of a large turbojet aircraft. This may even surpass the Q400. It surpasses any Carenado plane It is SO much more amazing than in the screenshots. I've been flying with it for about 5 hours and I can't stop. Seriously, it's amazing. Great on Frames too. Hi all, There was another thread on someone else doing this yesterday but I couldn't find it to add to it so I thought I'd start my own. So, yesterday my center monitor died and, to make a long story short, I opted to replace my 3x21" monitors and TH2Go with an older 1080P 42" HDTV 60hz. I'd had the 3 monitor setup for many years and was very happy with it. Here are the highlights: I always ran my sim in windowed mode, with all of the middle screen and half of each of the right and left so I was using about 2400 pixels by 1024. With the new monitor I would have 1920x1280...less pixels horizontal and more vertical...and all of the pixels would be a lot bigger. …

I know there is VATSIM for online flying. But I'm not really interested in the ATC stuff. I'm more of a casual flyer and would like to go online to fly with some people. Can you do so on VATSIM or is it strictly ATC enforced rules and all?

G'Day, I'm hoping the forum would be kind enough to help me sort an issue with a beep I can't isolate in the default FSX Acceleration F-18. It's only a new problem for me. i'm guessing it was after I installed a new addon plane. I have searched the net to great lengths however nothing works. I thought is was the DME Ident beep however all the suggested fixes for that didn't work. I'm now thinking it isn't actually the DME anyway because it's not a morse code type beep, just a monotone, continuous and loud beep. That's nuts, I never even knew you can set it that high. I thought 8.5 was pushing it, but damn 32? Two unrelated questions. I am using vox atc. Is there a way (and if so how can I set it up) to get atis at my destination airport through com 2? Flying the pmdg 737 ngx if that has any impact. The second question is for those who use efb is there a way to get the frequencies for the different ils runways through efb or do I have to get them from the fsx map?

Can anyone offer an explanation? Is the 680 a better performer than the 770? Has anyone got any feedback they can offer who have experience of the upgrade. Cheers...

You guys remember Frank Dainese 's talian Alps... In my old PC I used to download each mountain peak he completed and installed and it was gorgeous At some point... I combined them in fewer folders and I messed it up... I ended up lower resolution textures over high resolution textures. Although I think I have all the files... its all jumbled up. Hi All Well the more I look the harder my choice is becoming on what to get! I started on thinking about Ezdok to change the default camera's in FSX and posted a topic earlier this week on peoples thoughts on Ezdok and a couple of people mentioned Opus so after checking some video's on youtube i'm now stumped. I already have REX for my weather but have a few issues with that knocking my autopilot out when it loads weather and I don't really like the way it clears the weather every time it updates which for me is about every couple of mins but I do like the REX textures,so my problem is now do I go with EZdok or Opus. What's better on fps as far as weather is concerne…

I'm looking to expand my FSX experience even more! I would like to get some recommendations on scenery/aircraft/programs/utilities! My goal is to make North America look the best! Money is not a problem... ($3500) I have Flytampa/PMDG/CS/ORBX/GEX/UTX/REX/FSGenuis so any ideas other than those listed would be welcome! This post is meant for HD sceneries/Aircraft, they can take up HD space or take months to learn to fly correctly but I just want FSX to be the best experience ever! Thanks Guys.

3 or 4 years ago I stumbled across a small program that allowed you to add a pic to your 2d panel..Think it was a .bmp and you added a "window" in your panel config file...Played with it for awhile but had been lost after 2 new builds(and ageing memory lol)...Anybody remember the name??...Would like to find it again...Already searched the library and Google...Thanks Lou

Hello everyone, I know people get tired of hearing the questions and before going back and forth between the two slims. I have been trying for the last year to choose a proper flight sim that has what I want. I went with xplane last fall as it promised vast improvements with the x64 version, and improved autogen. I only have North America and still have to buy the rest of the world. The updates were completed a bit later than expected and performance increase did come with the updates to x64; however it still dives off a cliff if I add any types of shadows, or too much autogen. A year later with xplane I have one plane bought (x64), the same old pay ware scene…

I'm trying to figure out how to make a schedule for this year, but I don't have a clue, either not found a proper help to do it. Can I find somewhere to download a 2013 schedule? If not does someone knows how to make a schedule (doesn't need to be realistic)?
