Please don't bash me for putting this in the wrong section. I figured this may be an FSX issue, hence placing it here. I see so many folks with great screenshots taken from FSX, many of which are properly centered and look great. I would like to know how you can get an external view of an aircraft whereby panning around the aircraft won't cut off sections of it in the view. What I mean is for instance, if using a spot view, you can pan around the aircraft but at certain angles (besides perpendicular to the aircraft), the view of the aircraft begins to get cut off. I like to create some good angled shots for screenshots, but hate having part of a wing or the fusela…

When flying my PMDG 737, FSX will prematurly end the flight.It goes back to the beginning when it first starts up. My question here is ; Since the PMDG is so demanding would it be wise to disable my AVG Anti-virus, some addons not being used, like Cumulus X, Winch X( only used when flying my glider) Mega Scenry (Oh. and Ky. ) etc. What do you guys do? Where do I go to disable NOT un-install? Thanks in advance!

I have tried many times to save the settings of my aircraft ( A2A P-51) from the last shutdown. Every time I reload my aircraft the plane is not left in the same condition I left it in such as, trying to save the plane with the cockpit open. When I reload it the cockpit is closed. The plane itself is where i left it in the same spot on the parking area. How can I save the aircraft in the same condition I left it in???

Hi Guys I have recently installed the demo and see that lots of aircraft types are not included - eg, B747, B777, A340, A380 etc..... I am assuming that this is because the demo is a 'taster' - but can anyone please let me know the full list of the aircraft included in the full version - no need to list the airlines!! Also - for example, I notice that the A321 included in the demo is only the CFM engine version - again does the full version include full engine variations of each different aircraft? Anyone tried the newly released ATR-42 from Virtualcol? I purhcased the Dornier 328 which externally and internally was a dissapointment but the external doesn't seem to bad on this, certainly for £7. Hello, I am very interesting on converting my settings from ENB series to FXAA, I really want to make it look like it is with ENB, I prefer FXAA due to it's stability only. any help would be much appreciated! EDIT: I am only interesting in bloom and colorcorrection (night and day) settings: This file was origianlly set up by Nick Needham. I thought that almost all the settings were spot on with the exception of the night settings. I prefer my nights to be just a touch brighter and aslo with a little more bloom. Love this Milviz bird. I'm flying it just about every day. However, I notice that, compared to many other planes in my stable, that the VC seems to have a pretty strong impact on frame rates. Do any of you notice the same thing? I've compared it to the Milviz Cessna 310, and others. I'm seeing about a 20% or more decrease in overall smoothness. Hope it's not the new Nvidia drivers I just bragged about on this forum. I'll keep checking, but I'm interested in what others think about the overall performance of this great plane. Stan

Hi again everyone! I got a little big question here. I am seriously low on FPS (around 10) when starting a flight at Gatwick with a Gatwick addon + ORBX England +Active Sky +Ultimate Traffic and using PMDG 737 ngx. GEX Europe UTX Europe as well, but I think Orbx England overwrote them. The scenery is quite nice actually. BUT impossible to fly due to the low fps of course. In Insbruck X I get aroung 14 fps, not much of a difference. Anywere else in the word without scenery addons or modifications I get 30-40 no problem. My specs are: Alienware m17x r4, Intel Core i7 3840QM CPU @ 2,80 GHz, RAM 16, GTX 680M. I got this computer in hopes to fly FSX at good speed..... I…

Is there a way to remove static ground vehicles from FSX add-on or stock airports? The static ground vehicles are misplaced in the traffic lanes. Check pics for my problem, thanks for your time.

I know PMDG's 777 is arguably the most anticipated add-on this year but I wonder how many are also waiting on the QW 787? I've been waiting on this add-on for sometime and am really looking forward to it its release. Info on the progress of this add-on has been hard to find so I wonder if anyone has info on where QW are with it.

Greetings, I just found out that my De Havilland DHC3 from Premier Air Designs no longer works after my conversion to DX10. It comes up white and empty. Since I just purchased Orbx Southern Alaska (to move further north from Pacific Fjords) I think a high-performance float plane is in order! As much as enjoy puttering around the lower San Juan Islands in the DHC2 Beaver, I think it is a bit slow for for the shores of Canada and Alaska. Can anyone recommend a high-performance float plane that they enjoy? Single or twin is fine. Thanks! JKH

Hi, when running fsx, I accidentally clicked "Don't run" and "Never run addons from Virtuali S.A.S". How do I undo that, and make them run again? My FSDT O'hare isn't working anymore.

Hey guys, I have a Crucial M4 installed, 128gb model, with 8 gigs of free space as of now. I noticed that fsx doesn't load that fast even with the ssd. The ssd is set on the fast intel chipset sata socket and I ran a benchmark to verify it reads @ 500mb/s, and indeed it does. I was seeing someone's rig with a Samsung 830 loading up a default 747 in flytampa's dubai, and that was much MUCH faster.. like 10 seconds or so. I don't get it then. :( Maybe my ssd is less fast on specific size files? I know that there are sub-categories for SSD where one can perform significantly better than another.

I have been making training flights with my 737 ngx running from Montreal (CYUL) to kjfk.Since I do not know what runway I will be landing on when I take off from Montreal I leave it blank. The problem is that by the time I hit the last waypoint in my FP I am unable to contact jfk via ATC to get the runway assignment. I have tried to tune the radios to the JFK ATIS station in advance but can not get in touch with them to find out which runways are open. I usually end up opening the map and selecting a runway and setting up the approach with the hopes that ATC will assign me that particular runway or that I will be able to ask for it as an alternate. I purchased a set of AES credits as the flytampa montreal airport does not have jetways that work with gsx. I downloaded the AES program however is that it does not recognize the serial codes sent in the email (I assume the serial code is the six digit order number because there are no other numbers included). The manual said the program would ask for my email to link up to my account. That has never happened and I uninstalled and reinstalled. I tried to go to the developers forums, however I can't seem to complete the email registration for their support forums. It keeps saying I answered the challenge question wrong. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi guys. I just wanted to know why I get this issue with the Posky 777-300ER. Basically, the trouble begins as I gradually increase flaps, before intercepting the glideslope. The more I increase flaps, the more the nose pitches down. That in itself isn't a problem. The problem is that the nose is pitched down close to 10 degrees! And I've tried to go as slow as possible without stalling (130-ish knots) and the attitude is still really low. And to add to the problem, when I intercept the glideslope, the aircraft flares up, before wildly plunging down to 'catch-up' with the glideslope. Normally I solve these issues on my own.
