Hello, As someone new to enb series, I have a few issues and I wonder if its limited to me and if there is a way to fix it. My issue is that while i have the night time i always wanted; a realistic very dark night, i noticed that the lights in the airport and most importantly my taxi lights in my PMDG 737 has dimmed considerably to the point that it doesnt illuminate the taxiway at all, so I cant see where in going. Is the a common side effect with enb? Is there anyway to fix this? Regards.

Hello All I am sorry if I am beating a dead horse and I did looked around and don't get an exact answer so forgive me for asking but..... What is a recommended route planner that includes SID and STARS that I can export then import into a non FMC equiped aircraft...Hope that makes sense. Alternatively is it recommended to get some "generic" fmc for non-fmc aircraft? I am also looking for a route planner that can create flightplans that are PMDG compatible. I am trying to create my own outside of the tutorial flights but are a bit stuck with first how to and what to use. Any tips, pointers and help is much appreciated. Thanks, G

I installed Rex-Plus Overdrive and I load up all the textures. However, when I enter FSX I do not see any Rex changes made and I get the pop-up window that says: "The weather theme could not be loaded. Please check that this file exists and try again". I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and no matter what variation I try I am unable to get rex to work without the above message popping up every 5-10 seconds. I'm unable to post on the rex forums because nobody has verified my purchase yet. Unfortunately I am unable to read through the posts on this issue for the same reason and I was hoping someone here may have an idea of how to fix this.

How do i delete keyboard shortcuts assigned to cameras? I can select a different key but I dont want any key assigned.

Are the runway and ILS headings in FSX True or Magnetic headings. I ask this because I am updating some bgl files in ADE for us in FSX and there seems to be some difference in opinions as to which are correct, true or magnetic. Also which are indicated in a Jepperson Chart.

I've been seeing a lot mentioned of SweetFx, and I'm thinking of trying it out to add some enhanced HDR like effects to FSX. I'm in the camp of users who gave up on the ENB Series mod because it causes CTDs, but I do have Shade. But shade alone can't make up for the absence of ENB, and I was always hoping someone would find a cure for the crashes, this may be just the thing! I've seen lots of threads, and I don't mean to sound like I'm lazy, but I really don't feel like reading that one thread that has 52,000 views and is 30 pages long. Hi was wondering if any one else has come across this. I mainly fly now with either FSPassengers or Air Hauler and have set crash detection to off to allow these programs to inject failures etc However every now and again in fsx settings it seems to reset itself to "detect damage and crashes". Anyone know if there is anything I can add to the fsx .cfg file to stop this happening? Not a major issue, just a little bit annoying Cheers Steve

Can anyone recommend a payware or freeware PA28 type - Warrior, Archer, Arrow? For either FSX or FS9. These planes are commonly used for training in UK and all over the world but for some reason they haven't been modelled by the usual players (Carenado did an Archer a long time ago - it needs updated). What about it A2A, Real Air, Lionheart? We've lots of Cessnas already. John

Hello, I've managed to start in a cold and dark cockpit, but i need to get out of it I know that in real life, engines are not started until push back is initiated, they work with APU until they start the engines. So if anyone could give me a checklist to follow in order to start my plane systems only (without the engines) i.e. radio, autopilot, i would be thankful.

I am looking for recommendations for scenery for north america. At the moment I will be focusing my flights on larger jets (737 etc)and like to fly routes from the NYC area either up to Boston or cross-country to vegas & LA. I will also like west coast flights from LAX to places like San Francisco and San Diego. I noticed FSDT has a number of airports I tend to use (JFK, LAX, Vegas) and I may pick up Boston from Tampa. What additional scenery would be good for North America? I also like to do short hops in Europe (e.g. London to Paris etc), but I am trying to gradually build up to that and thought it would be wise if I focus on NA first.

Before I'm told to go to the REX forums, I can't. It gives me a message saying I don't have permission to do that. Latest version of REX Essential Plus. Windows 7 32 bit. REX does not load textures into FSX. I've tried numerous times with all solutions I've found, and nothing comes up. Everything is correct as for as I know. I'll click install in the Textures tab, it gives me a 2-3 minute of installing, but the FSX textures remain the same.

Hi All, I've just now uploaded a file to the AVSIM library (Dash8Q400FuelPlan.zip) that contains an excel (2010 or later) spreadsheet that can be used as a fuel planner for the Q400. The data within it is courtesy Bob Scott and the calculations I wrote myself. Let me know via PM if there is anything way off about the calculations. Give it a few hours to pass inspection and then you can download it. Enjoy!

Very minor issue for the patch list... The popup tooltip on the microphone says Landing Lights. Jason

The panel light switch works fine independently, but when you change the Nav light switch position, it toggles the Panel light switch too. Jason

Hello, I purchased the FEELTHERE Regional Jets then purchased the various paints from McPhat studios. For some reason, the paints only go onto the "Yoke" version of the ERJ's. How can I get the same paint kit to install for the "No Yoke" version? Thanks

At present part way through the learning curve using Garmin 1000 I am restricting myself to the FSX bog standard Cessna. After trawling umpteen sites for available aircraft with this instrument in the cockpit and relevant reviews where available; it seems to me that whatever the actual aircraft and source for purchase, all fall well short of 100% functions re the actual "thing"! Can anyone tell me if any available FSX aircraft fitted with the Garmin 1000 is any better than another?.If there is one could some kind person supply details? regards Anamiv

Can anyone tell me why sweetfx would crash the NGX737 to the task bar after ten minutes of flight? it all looks great working well when crash to the task bar with no warning nor any error report. Cheers.

Hi guys, I seem to have a problem with wind, fortunately not my own. If I set the wind speed to say 50knots left to right in FSX I have a great time fighting it whilst flying an approach. However when I get to about half a mile from the runway the wind effect on the aircraft completely disappears and I then have to adjust dramatically to achieve a straight in approach. I have noticed that when using add on scenery the chimney smoke effect from airport buildings is blowing horizontal with the 50 knot wind!! yet the wind has no effect on my aircraft. No matter if I use FSX's own weather, FS approaches weather or REX weather I get the same result I am totally baffled by t…

So I've wanted to play FSX for a long time now, I've just never had the time to do so. I'm not a computer genius, I just want to know the basics of what to buy/download that will enhance my experience. Things like controls and graphic stuff.
