Been trying to sort out stuttering for a few weeks now, (running FSX on 4 PCs in a full size 737 Sim with 3 projectors), and noticed last night that Opus server was using about 40% cpu whereas FSX was using 10%. Wondering if that's where my issue is? anyone have any experience in this area? My Live view tests are good and updates in the region of 100fps Thanks Ralph

Has anyone got this issue yet? It says to celebrate 10th anniversary they are giving away a Realair Spitfire, but on the cover disk it says DEMO Anyone know if its the full plane or a demo ? Regards

Hi guys, i have 3 problems I need some help with. I've added a video where these problems show up. This video wasn't intended to point them out, i was just practising with video-editing software and uploading to Youtube as i am new to both. 1) Some building show up shimmering through clouds at about 1:12 for example, whilst leaving the LAX area. You can see a gray building shimmering through a cloud. This is not too obvious and can be ignored, but what is really annoying is the fact that other clouds are visible that are beyond other thick clouds. You dont see that in this video though, but that really bugs me and kills the immersion. Is there anything to fix this? …

hello im trying to remove the red txt in the corner sating wingview or spot view raduis etc etc as i dont want them showing in videos. does anyone know what line in fsx.cfg i need to change cheers

I've searched and can't find an Ultra, anyone know of one out there?Or just a panel that is simular to the Ultra, thanks.

Hey guys hate to be the "noob" on the forum and I'm hoping I am starting this topic in the correct forum? I've done a previous search on the forums and couldn't find the answer to my question so here goes. Basically i've got Ezdok V1.17 installed and everything is working fine to be honest, apart from "CR" or camera resonance. Not a huge deal as all my other effects are working. When I try to create a new view that works fine but when I right click the effect its all pre-set at zeros. When I come to toggle with the various inputs and variables there is no "shaking" or any effect at all? So I was just wondering if anyone could help me understand or even just help m…

Sometimes I really want a short, fun, and challenging flight. I like to take off from any airport in the Seattle area (Orbx enhanced) like Boeing field, or SeaTac itself in a Cessna L-19/10-1F Bird Dog and fly about 5 to 8 minutes to Vaschon Municipal (Orbx, of course) and do it at dusk. Vaschon is very challenging and you can't touch the high grass on either side, or the lights...or you will crash. It needs to be a perfect descent over the trees and down on the runway right down the middle. The airport and static planes are reminiscent of an old time airport, and it is like something from a different world and time. Of course, you could use any plane of your choice…

Hi. I bought Aerosoft's Lukla scenery for FS9 when it first came out (I had just come back from Lukla real-world at the time - a great experience: the sloping runway was still being constructed when I was there, so I flew in by helicopter: spectacular, to say the least). I didn't subsequently get the FSX Lukla X scenery as I rarely flew FSX, but now that I have sorted out problems with viewing FSX on multiple monitors, I fly it more often and have only today installed the FSX version. I see however that there are various freeware additions to this which work with the Aerosoft scenery and certainly look wonderful from the various screenshots, but I am not 100% sure wh…

Hi, can anyone help. I haven't really flown on vatsim much but when I did I knew my mice was working as atc replied. However as from today I don't seem to be getting herd online. I have set it all to the setting I was told to do and as before but it wont work. the strange thing I find is that my fs2crew is still working and can hear what I command it to do. has this happened to anyone before and if so can you help. baldo

Greetings, I don't yet have Opus, but I've been impressed by the number of folks very happy with an Opus/REX approach to weather. I'm also interested in the DHM feature. I have been happily using Trackir over the last 2 years, but it seems it has suddenly died <sniff> So before I part with a relatively large sum to replace Trackir, I'm wondering whether Opus (for a smaller investment) can provide a total immersion package (weather, cameras and DHM) such that I can live without Trackir. I'm equally interested to hear views and experiences from those who do and don't run Opus in combination with Trackir. Thanks.

Hi! I own this product, but haven´t installed it yet. During the installation of many (mainly airport) sceneries, you have the option to choose if there is an addon mesh product installed or not. i always chose "no". What would be the negative consequences, if I would install FS Global now? Thanks in advance!

I realized they are totally different products but I'm interested in both. Can only purchase one at this time, suggestions on which is the smarter, more fun or better 'bang for the buck' purchase? I pretty much exclusively switch around between flying my Concorde X, Consolidated Catalina and Twin Otter. If the darn PMDG DC-6 would be out, I'd own that too.

Have had an issue doing ILS approaches. All is fine and then the autopilot mode switches from GS to Attitude hold. This then makes following the flight director a little squirrelley (sic?). Am I doing something incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated. Also, is there a way to turn off the flight director? Can be a little distracting if your not using it for guidance at the time...

Hi, I played on FSX a couple of years ago (or a version of FS). Flying a 747 or a 737 which all the controls in the cockpit worked instead of being blanked off. I think it was a 747 were I could input data into the cockpit computer to assist flying. Is this an add on or a totally different software programme all together?

I've downloaded this from SourceForge and already seem to have a problem. Most of my scenery objects (Megascenery 2.0 states, FSDreamteam airports etc.) do not show up there to be enabled/disabled prior to a given flight. I'm assuming part of the problem is that I have MS 2.0 located on another disk, although that's not the case with other sceneries. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark

More and more add-ons seem to require installation of the FSX Acceleration pack but I am concerned that installing it on top of an existing FSX Sp2 set up (which is heavily laden with numerous add-ons) might mess things up. I have heard some horror stories but can anyone offer their own experiences in this respect? Thank you!

I downloaded and installed several files from the site www.vf-air.com/fsx2.htm for Lake Como. Files installed were lilycomo.zip, the vf-air objects library and the LOD 11 mesh ALPS. The attached link shows that the elevation of the lake near the AERO CLUB is well below ground elevation. I am not sure if I installed these files in the proper order for FSX. If anyone has experienced this problem could you please provide a possible fix? This is a really nice beautiful area in Italy to fly. For those still using FS9 there is some excellent scenery of the Lake Como area available which is fun to fly! Here's the screen shot. Thanks for your help! Airbus

Hi all, Despite much (hours of) research, I was not able to come up with an answer to this problem. The problem is that on-screen AI cause a huge drop in FPS, sometimes in the range of ~50%. This happens whether I'm at a small airport like PASI, or a huge airport like KLAX. Also, this only occurs when they are visible. If an AI aircraft is out of my FOV, it might as well not exist. This leads me to believe that it is a texture issue, but that's just a best guess. I'm running WOAI, with 491 packages active, and FSX:A. Any ideas? I know AI cause an FPS drop, but it shouldn't be like this.
