I know this has been brought up many times, but I cannot get it working. Could someone please list step by step how to merge the Airbus X Extended Virtual Cockpit with the Project Airbus A319 external model? Thank you very much, any help is appreciated.

Recently, while flying on Vatsim in FSX, I was told to expect an ILS 30L approach into the default FSX KSJC airport. I have been doing ILS approaches for several years now. I set everything up for the approach, and when I expected to join the localizer, nothing happened. No localizer, no glide slope, nothing. I then tried to intersect the localizer offline several times...nothing. In the map view from the menu in FSX it shows an ILS approach, but it just won't work. I even tried a backcourse approach because both 30L and 12R share the same frequency. No go. I tried several other airplanes and they too don't pick up the ILS on 30L. Even if you only go to Oz occasionally, this is a 'must have' and amazingly, it's FREE! Get it HERE. Oh, I think it's necessary to have OZx 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3. But don't quote me on that. EDIT: Just installed it and as it's an upgrade the previous incarnations ARE required.

I've ran into some trouble with my airport and cockpit textures recently. As I approached FlyTampa's Buffalo I noticed that the walls of the terimnal were missing whereas the roof, gates and windows were still there. Likewise, the background textures of the circuit breaker panel in my NGX were missing, hence I could see through the panel... Apparently this is not developer-specific as this also occurs at FSDreamteam airports.

Hello all, Last week I decided to do a clean install of Windows 7 on my laptop and today I finally re-installed FSX along with both service packs. After doing a defrag and restarting, I fired up FSX. After adjusting the settings to how they were before, I was shocked that I was only getting around 10 FPS. Before, I was getting 20-25 FPS in the A2A Mustang, my airplane of choice. I was sure that everything was updated before pulling my hair out, but I still can't seem to figure out what is going on. My computer specs are listed in my signature. Also, as far as my settings go in FSX, I keep them on the low end of the scale. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

I was wondering if anyone has used the NPSimpanels replacement panel for the FSX default CRJ? I've created a very workable little setup for the default CRJ because it works so well with the Project Magenta RJ glass cockpit software I've had for years. Here's a pic of the Sketchup rendering I did of my setup. What I'd like, though, is a little more functionality on the overhead panel for a more realistic cold-and-dark startup. Googling it brings up the NPSimpanels software. Any thoughts?

Hi Folks, I am the proud owner of the Q400 and I would like to install Trackr and EZEDOK on my system. Has anyone out there had issues when using this combination together with the Q400. I would just like to point out that I have no problems with the Q400 and it runs on my set up really well. I do not have nVidia inspector or the full version of FSUIPC installed and have no wish to do so. I have no problem with high demand aircraft or scenery and have good frame rates. I just didn't want to lash out on Trackr in particular if it was going to ruin my experience with the Q400. So, seriously, even with all the wonderful, detailed payware out there, this is my recipe for FSX happiness. I find the more I concentrate on familiarizing myself with a single plane's performance, controls, procedures; the more I fly around one airport or one flight plan, familiarizing myself with the geography, and the visual elements on the ground that help me navigate and set up approaches..... the more fascinated I become. Hey guys, Suffered a strange problem yesterday about 20 miles out of Bella Coola. Out of nowhere, bloom started turning itself on and off again, consistently, like the sirens of a police car, with the difference that I was suffering from 3-second intervals of bad performance instead of a high-pitched noise. Bloom is squarely turned off, so I have no idea why it would suddenly start turning itself on and off all the time. Anyvody have any idea what might have caused this? Haven't flown since yesterday, so I don't know if the problem is still there. It started about 20 miles out of OrbX's Bella Coola, and haven't had any problem like this before.

I am flying the plane (mostly) fine and well (practiced landing and taking off manually), but then I decided to play around with the auto pilot...only to discover there is no nav/gps switch that I can find! I am also unsure of how to use the ILS frequency codes in this plane. I found the place to enter them in (shift 7 I think) but then what? Do I get a audible tone code? How do I activate that? I know how to do it on the default aircraft in FSX just fine, but this one confuses me and the manual isn't any help. I just purchased and installed my first A2A Simulations product, the Piper Cub with Accusim. The problem, if it is one, is that when I close FSX I get a little window that shows "can't find child's window". I've never seen or heard of this. Everything operates correctly after I close the window and I had no problems flying the plane. I was just curious as to what this is and what I should do about it. I downloaded nice Area 51 scenery for FSX from flyawaysimulation.com (3.49MB Skara Scenery). http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/15416/fsx-area-51-scenery/ I noticed: The ILS for RWY 12 has a heading of 315.9 degrees? ... also the ILS is pointed that way. So I am wondering if this is supposed to be ILS 30 (not ILS 12)? Should RWy 32R be the 5500 foot long runway, the one physically on the far right in the JPG? In other words, should the rwys be 12, 32 and 32R? Edit: , In other words, should the rwys be 30, 32 and 32R? When I look at the properties for NDB (ARDB) I get an error screen (using AFX ver 1.10a)?

I have the qw757, and for some reason it seems like the speed tape is set to KIAS, I would like it to be set to true airspeed. When cruising, I can only fly at speed 330, which that's the max IAS speed in the aircraft cfg. This problem has just started, as before, I could cruise at my normal speed of 460 kts. I don't know what happened as this has just begun. P.S. I have checked and set the default settings as i prefer to have it set to true airspeed. Also, isn't 330 ias pretty fast in knots?

Hello, I have the pro flight yoke system and it work't al the time, but now when i start FSX (and the plane and stuff) the steer work's but the trotle control won't. It gives a green sing that is power but it won't work. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have installed a number of gauges into my aircraft and the windows numbers are over 10. How do you open these windows with the shift key? If I press shift 10, it reverts to the windows 1 window. Many thanks. John

Hello. so i went ahead and bought fs captain. so far ive got quite a few problems with it. I tried 2 flights today with no luck. the first big problem there is the delay in clicking on things and waiting for things to happen. for example when using push back utility, captain asked for ground "captain to ground" 3 minutes later the ground replied. then another 3 or 4 minutes wait to be told to release paking brakes... aicraft pushes back and stops, another 3 minute wait and the ground tells me to start engines, the push back was finished by the time thet told me to start engines. another issue is im using active sky 2012 sp2... and none of the weather …

Hey folks, I love the bloom effect and the darker nights that ENBSERIES brings, but at the same time I am getting some black screens with it. I heard about the small program "shade" and wondered if it can replace the bloom effect from enbseries. another thing is the darker nights what can replace that? any other injector like sweetfx for instance add to much color, make it terribly unrealistic. any suggestion? cheerio.

I cured this problem with the HIGHMEMFIX=1 line added in the (graphics) section of the fsx.cfg file. But occurred again and this time it was when I enabled preview direct x10 in display settings. No other aircraft were affected just the pmdg 737.

Hello there, I have a general question about using the hat switch of my Saitek Cessna Yoke with FSX: Is it possible to somehow program the configuration in a way that when the hat switch is released the view centers itself / resets? Possibly with FSUIPC or EZDOK? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Andreas

Hey i got this really fustrating problem. i cant look around pressing spacebar and looking around or zoom in and out. and i can't fly using the mouse yoke either. i dont know what the problem is i have reset the controlls to default and there is still that plus sign on you mouse cursor when i press spacebar to look and use the mouse yoke the the view and controlls is jammed. please jelp

Does anybody know what the units are on these settings? MaxGustRampSpeed=200 MaxGustTime=500 MaxVarRampSpeed=75 MaxVarTime=50 MinGustRampSpeed=1 MinGustTime=10 MinVarRampSpeed=10 MinVarTime=5 I'm trying to find a better "feeling" wind. The default values are too weak/benign compared to the real world, and I'm trying to adjust them. It would help if I knew what the numbers represented. For example, is the "speed" a unit like KTS or degrees, or a percentage? Is time in seconds on milliseconds?

Hey all, I just began thinking, which will take me days with my level of procrastination, about purchasing the Dash 8-Q400 from Majestic, knowing that it's a complex simulation. I have two questions regarding this, and they do involve comparisons to other A/C in FSX. So off we go... #1 I own the Airbus X Extended and the PMDG 737NGX and am able to keep them relatively steady at 25FPS [locked] when in the air, and usually 20 or more FPS on the ground. How will the Majestic Dash 8 stack up against these values? Hi everyone I have installed both Ibiza and Amsterdam Schiphol airport sceneries by Aerosoft installed on my FSX set up. I also have ORBX England installed. I understand really you have to save the flight and deactivate the scenery when leaving England. I never have any problems apart from there being no autogen if I keep it activated in Europe. My problem is that the runway and taxi way textures seem to flicker between the third party textures and the default ones. It's not half as bad however if I am departing from these airports. Is this a basic scenery setting problem? Or do I have to nudge the sceneries to the top of the custom scenery list? …
