I recently tried to instlal Sweet FX into fsx, but apparently must have done something wrong, as it crashed FSX, so I tried removing it.But in doing so I think I accidently removed something that is now causing some extra problems. I'm currently doing a repair install, and wondering if I have to reinstall aircraft and whatnot again once its done?

Hi guys, for some a reason I have been some problems with my FSX scenerys since yesterday. There are no textures on some objects or buildings. I even flew FRA-LHR-FRA and it was strange. I tested first at LHR, the gates had not any texture I went to FRA there was everything or right. On my approach to LHR I noticed the runway textures are not correct, but the gates normal (see screenshot). On my back fly to FRA the buildings were or right but gound, car and gate textures strange. What I can rembember is, that the objects on the ground had not any textures. Also I noticed, that I get, while reloading from aircraft textures (NGX), that the FSX logo appears same for 2D P…

After removing ENB due to it causing extreme instability - I noticed the configuration file re-wrote itself in the FSX directory when the FSX application is started. Is there anyway to get rid of it and for it to stop doing that? *Edit* the file name is "enbseries". Cheers, Luke

I bought the Duke today, and the RXP GNS 530 WAAS. What is the pros of having also the GNS 430? I am an total noob on these units. Anyone care to enlighten me on how you use these two units in practice, and how they work together? Would I be happy to have both? Thanks,

My night time clouds look like crap. They are okay when the moon is up, but when the moon sets, the gradients between shades become very stark and obvious - picture attached. Is there any way to fix this - increasing a shade or color pallet or something like that?

Hello. Recently I've been watching the Flying Wild Alaska episodes on Netflix and it has, for the first time ever in my flight simming career, got me thinking about flying a small plane of some sort. So, I'm curious as to what are some of the best aircraft in this category? I still don't want straight GA. I want some "airline" structure to it yet as I like having that structure to where I am going to fly to next rather than just getting in and not knowing where to go. Hey guys, I really hate to start a new topic, as I thought I had covered everything, but after setting all sliders to the right on my brand new FSX installation, running my fsx.cfg through the venetubo tool, and adding several memorized tweaks (HIGHMEMFIX, TML, etc), I'm still getting horrific blurries appearing as close as 50 feet in front of the aircraft, and my autogen is very sparsely dispersed. Now I wouldn't have an issue with the autogen normally, but I recently got Earth Simulation's Channel Isles reinstalled, and it doesn't look nearly as good as it used to. Anything I'm blanking out on? And what should I do about the autogen? Many thanks,

FSX has started behaving strangely today. I am having periods of being unable to zoom any view in or out. It is so unpredictable that I could wait for ages to get the zoom facility back. I have deleted the FSX cfg file and created a new one to no avail. This happens with any aircraft, default or payware. I like to set a particular zoom level in the VC and I'm unable to do this when I want to. Sometimes the zoom facility will suddenly return but it is liable to go again at any moment. Something is causing this behaviour and I'd welcome any suggestions that you have as to the cause and a cure. Thanks. Iain Smith

Does anyone know what has been solved/sorted? I know that they ran into altercations with PMDG, but are the repaints still being released? Is progress continuing towards release?
