I am see the following error messages when booting up FSX Scenery CFG File error Invalid remote scenery path in scenery area 115, as well as the same message for areas 126, 127, 129 & 133. I checked the Addon on Scenery file & I do have folders for scenery & texture. What do I do now? Thanks, Hocdaddy

Is it possible to setup and have virtually no AI traffic grounded at and flying around airports while having tons of AI traffic in the air around where you are flying during cruise? I'm mainly referring to airliner traffic but guess GA traffic all around while doing Alaska runs would be entertaining too.

I tried to install some liveries for the PMDG 737 but was unsuccessful. Can someone give me a step by step, since it's not an automatic thing. Handling files is one of my main weaknesses. Thanks

I would like to know how to add gate numbers to parking areas using ADEX for FSX by Scruffyduck. Specifically, how to add those gate designators so that they appear on the jetway or building, Can someone direct me to some resources? Thanks Dom

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the eyepoint in a default FSX 2D cockpit (not the default value - I mean the function that is controlled by Shift+ Enter & Shift+backspace, which only adjusts the VC eyepoint)? I can't find the info here or by Googling.. though I dare say it must be out there somewhere! Thanks, Martin

I just got FTX England (my first ORBX product--I know I'm behind on the times), but with such a large area compared to any other scenery addon I have, I'm not sure where to begin. Are there any particular regions of England that are best to fly around? Or any aircraft that are well suited for it? Thanks, boeing247

Hello, I have an issue with the DHM and the carenado C185 on FSX. The DHM is active as soon as I push the gaz control even if the motor is not running. So when I prime the motor with the gaz control before even starting it, the aircraft is shaking like when taxing. Seem to be the only aircraft with this issue. Any idea ?

Gents, I've been using Lee Swordy's AFCAD editor very successfully in FS9 to close runways for use with Pro Flight Emulator. This prevents constant runway changes when on approach and makes flight planning easier when everyone's landing on the same runway. I understand AFCAD doesn't work in FSX. Is there a nice *simple* method to open and close runways to AI in FSX?

Hi, I have a very odd issue with just one of my payware aircraft, which manifests itself in two forms: it won't start-up on first load in Free Flight, but will after being re-loaded inside the FSX engine. Then, the included standard FSX GPS will cease to function a little ways into the flight, again, fixed by reloading the aircraft. I truly believe this to be some sort of interaction on my system. I recently purchased Aerosim's add on for the Boeing 787. Nice! I have FSX all tweaked and everything looks and performs great...except for this. I am not an advanced FSX user; mainly to state I do not yet create and fly IFR positive control flight plans. I create direct, VFR, GPS routes. I prefer to create a very long direct final into the landing runway. Hello, On my virtual airline, we use VAFS5. Unfortunetly, during the climb or crz phase, i have the "Excessive Gforce " tag on my VAFS5 due to high wind variations.... I put my settings on "smooth" but it is the same. If you have any issue to solve my problem.... Maybe you can tell me what settings are you using to have smooth transition. Just trying to get a good understanding of what this setting does in the FSX.cfg. First, I understand that "CLOUD_DRAW_DISTANCE=8" is the max slider setting in the UI, 110 miles. With this or a lesser value, the clouds are rendered at up to the maximum specified distance, centered on the user's aircraft. OK, fine. Simple enough. The value entered in the FSX.cfg can be higher than "8". I've used values as high as 16 and 32. When a value higher than "8" is used, depending on conditions the clouds render at a greater distance than what an "8" entry yeilds. This way you can see the tops of very distant cumulonimbus clouds that rise above the horizon's haze layer…

Hi there, I've had a problem importing a database file once before once the flights were compiled, and it needed to me to remove the paint job and then back into it after it was imported. I've been trying to do Jet2's latest flight plans from AvSim and I am getting the error below. I have removed all the paint jobs but this hasn't fixed the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I am unable to make changes to an aircraft .cfg file... Whenever I make changes in the .cfg file, and try to save it, I get a message that says "Unable to save file, check that the file name or path is correct"It says that when I click "save" or "save as". And I make sure that when I save the file, the suffix is .cfg... Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you for your help in advance!
