Hi, Got the v1.2 update. VNAV is not a big problem; however, the LNAV is sort of shaky. It's more serious on 773. I have downloaded the corresponding package's from WOAI. At both airports there is traffic in the air around the airport but no landings or ground traffic I use VOX atc that does a good job every where else with loads of AI. Any one have any advice on how to get traffic to these airports as I have bought Pacific simulations corresponding payware but there is still no traffic even when in default mode

Suddenly I'm having this problem with the New York area and don't know what's causing it. The only add on I have for this area is FSDreamTeam KJFK V2 which is working perfectly. Any help will be most appreciated.

Stephen, any way to cycle through the views by pressing one keyboard button? Also, any chance we could use the hat switch in our joystick to cycle through the views instead of panning the view in the cockpit? I, like many others, use TrackIR and the joystick hat switch (I have Saitek X52 here) is of no use to me. Would be great if we could "utilize" it somehow. Thanks Mike

First of all I have bought many addons from FS dreamteam, such as JFK vol2, KORD, KDFW, LAX, KFLL, CYVR, FLY Tampa, CYUL, KTPA, KBOS, KBUF, I am re3allyimpressed by KAID from flightbeam, I would definitely put them in the same league as fs dreamteam and fly tampa The airport is a must have and also pretty good on the frame rates. KMIA is an addon since KMIA had many issues of performance, very unstable. On the otherhand Latin VFR gained a lot of creditbiiy from me when they came out with KSAN, which is a masterpiece. I un-installed EZDOK then re-installed it. When I started FSX this is the pop up I got; Ezca for FSX has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.It is installed in my J Drive where everything else is but not directly in FSX.

Hi all I got PMDG 737 a week or so ago. I'm very excited. It's magnificent. But (always a but, isn't there!) I have gone through the entire 1st Tutorial Flight set up five times, I've copied every setting into the FMC and every instruction meticulously just as the Tutorial states on the page. But something is wrong Everything is fine to start with climbing upwards with MCP SPD LNAV an ALT ACO showing. Until the plane suddenly starts to lose height and the alarms start ringing! I occasoinally just pick an airport and fly around, sometimes I find some fun scenery areas, or a fun challening airport to take off or land from that isn't well known, and maybe just a number. I was wondering if there was a utility out there for saving favorite airports?

Currently I am running FSX on a 30" Apple Cinema DIsplay at 2560x1600. It's being driven by my EVGA GTX 680 FTW 4GB graphics card. I have a 37" Samsung 1080p TV sitting and collecting dust. I was curious to know if I would benefit by adding it into my existing setup to give me a better setup? I was thinking of using the Samsung TV as my main display for FSX, and the 30" display for the PFD, FMC, ND, and other stuff. That way on my main screen I have the entire view without any clutter of the cockpit. Just have all the stuff from the VC undocked and displayed on my 2nd screen? Would I lose FPS performance since my gpu has to drive another display?

Does it exist any freeware model or panel of crj 700 which shows min or max speed on some altitude (like default B737)

hello, im having trouble choosing the right star for arrival. For example yesterday i was landing at Manchester and the air traffic cleared me for runway 05 or something like that, but i did not know what star to choose so i clicked any and everything got messed up on the fmc and i just ended the flight in disappointment lol. is there a program to help decide the right star

I have been jumping back between FSX and X-Plane 10. And I find it sometimes confusing on the different camera views in FSX. Could someone please explain what the differences between the following: 1) Spot View and Locked Spot View? Also I use to be able to zoom in and out while in those views using my scroll wheel on my mouse. But now I can't. The + and - keys don't do nothing either. How do I fix this? Lastly, in X-Plane there's a camera view that hides the cockpit and allows you to see fully the outside world in front of you as you're flying. How can I get this view inside of FSX. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm still very new to fsx and I am making a real attempt to learn as much as possible. I have fsx gold (with acceleration). I spend almost all my time flying jets. My primary plane is the pmdg 737 ngx (and I intend to pick up the pmdg 777 when it comes out). For addons I have Rex plus with OD, flytampa Montral airport, aerosoft JFK airport, fs2crew, gsx (and aes for montreal) and UT2. I have also downloaded something like esmb to help with night lighting and an external frame rate controller. I am considering at some point to pick up Opusfsx (also looking at active sky 2012) for the weather generation and run it using the rex textures. I do not have ezdok …

Hi. This was my first landing with a PMDG 737 and it was very sucky because it was my first so here it is.

Just read on AirDailyX that Carenado is doing a jet. Based on a pic released of the landing gear, it is speculated to be another Embraer Phenom. Again, speculated. I was hoping a Citation (based on Carenado doing a lot of Cessna products), but based on the pic, it does look like a Phenom. I really hope it's something else. Todd

I'm in the market for a good flightplanning tool, maps/charts included.Platform will be NGX, route areas mostly US and Europe. Pricetag must be reasonable, but I'm not on a strict budget. iPad 2 - compatibility is a merit. (At this point I'm not considering expired Jeppessens Packs. When in demo mode, how do I get the software to default to 737? When i open the CDU etc, it defaults to the 777 graphic. The same question was asked on the FDS forums but the reply was: As this reply was not helpful anyone else have a clue?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum guys, unsure exactly where to go. But some help with this would be appreciated. I've just installed the new Twin Otter X and as I was creating a profile in FSUIPC Profile specific, I accidentally copied the Turbine Duke rather than creating a unique profile. Each time I start the Twotter it is now named Turbine Duke. I've been into the FSUIPC cfg but have been unable to assess a way forward. Can anyone offer some assistance, cheers.

I like to fly in real weather conditions. Generally, what are the "extras" that I'm getting if I purchase a Weather Addon, e.g., ASA, etc. over using the "real-weather" settings in FSX. Will they give me similar weather results, or are there numerous adjustments/refinements when purchasing & installing addon weather programs? I'm just curious to know what are the positives in purchasing a weather addon?
