Hello, I am having problems with KSFO airport textures. The runways are covered with grass. I have been trying to trouble shoot this problem since early July. I did have an add-on airport for KSFO and later disabled it from my FSX scenery and also deleted it completely from FSX due to bad frame rates, and now KSFO is a mess! I had my mesh resolution settings always around 38, but now in order to get rid of the grass on the runways, it has to be at 152. Is there a way to fix this? I prefer lower number settings for the mesh settings. Also, one of the terminals is having a problem and it is a light transparent blue at the bottom half and you can see through the …

I've been flying the PMDG 737-800 NGX from MDW to STL recently. I've completed this flight several times without issue, but on my last two flights I experienced a strange "jump" (as in a rocket magically) from FL260 to FL310 and then on approach lost about 5,000 in a "falling like a stone" manner. The only difference I am aware is that I have gone back to trying to use OpusFSX instead of AS2012 for weather. While this correlates perfectly with the two flights I've had this issue, I can't provide a rational reason it should be an issue. Hi, Several of my fellow Flight Simulator Community members have both phoned and emailed me in recent days inquiring how they should occupy themselves in lieu of PMDG releasing their 777. While each individual has his or her own personal way of making time 'go faster', I personally find the following video to be quite helpful in taking my mind of the often very stressful world of our Flight Simulation hobby. Well, After I don't know how many years of reading great things about Trackir, I have ordered through amazon. It arrives tomorrow. I am getting the Trackir 5, however it does not come with the pro clip through amazon. I most likely have to order that from Natural point directly. I've heard the clip is quite flimsy. However, I do want to order it, but may want some opinions as to how it performs without the clip and how many out there use it with the clip before moving forward. I tried to fire up FSX and got the following message: Cannot load files ...dlgdtdtrans.bmp , fldstd.bmp , btnstd.bmp , digalert.bmp , iconinfo.bmp , iconques.bmp , iconexcl.bmp , and iconstop.bmp Has anyone ever heard of this? Task Manager says FSX is running, but only a small gray rectangle is visible. I was working on the Airbus Extended, but doubt this has anything to do with it. Any help is appreciated. Am I headed for the dreaded re-install? Bill W.

Hi Everyone I have been looking at sceneries for some time to compliment the PMDG B777 when its released. I have a number of good ones already but would really like to get CYVR from FSDT and perhaps DFW. My concern is that many seemed to have ad problems running it with more advanced aircraft, real world weather etc. I am running an overclock of 4.26Ghz and run the B737NGX reasonably well at some pretty heavy FTX airports. Am I likely to see worse performance than say FTX YMML or YBBN with an aircraft like the PMDG B737 for example. I don't have the FTX Canada scenery. Interested in you opinion.

OK, I've had this problem with FSX for a while now and I'm totally fed up with it! What causes it? Basically I get this flickering (or "z-fighting") problem when viewing objects or custom scenery textures. For example in this video I am showing the OrbX Launceston airport but it happens at default airports too - for example when viewing a big airport from far away, all the terminal buildings, jetways, etc flicker really badly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcLWIIeQIzI

Hi All When I used to run FS9, I liked to confirm that any AI I'd manually added had been done so correctly, so I used the demo version of FSRepaint which would allow me view the AI before running it inside the sim. This was great for catching instances where, for example, a simple typo could so easily mean that a repaint wasn't associated to a model, thus leading to a grey textured AI. Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, FSRepaint cannot view FSX native AI, eg, UTT, FAIB, etc. Therefore, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a package / utility that allows AI to be viewed outside of FSX ? My FSX install has become a bit of a botch in ai traffic issues. From what I know, any files concerned for ai traffic are found in the .flt plan And the .bgl files in D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery How or what files does FSX ONLY need for it to run in default setup with the in game ai Traffic sliders?

I just visited FS Labs home page and noticed that the last update of that page was over a year ago. Are they out of business or are they still working on the Airbus?

Is there any way to get the FSX Traffic Explorer to follow AI boat traffic like it does for AI aircraft? I can track aircraft but not ships/boats. Thanks, Bob.

As the topic suggests I'm interested to hear from anyone who tried the combination Accu-Feel 2 and FS Global Real Weather. I'm paticularly interested in the turbulence effects when flying an aircraft such as the PMDG NGX but any feedback using Accu-Feel 2 with the NGX is most welcome since I do pretty much all my flying in that aircraft.

like the title says. looking a plane preferably with steam gauges to fly using FS Altitude. that means fl 150 or greater i've been told. prop or jet is fine....but no heavies. thanks...............Bill

Hey all, When I try to install the T line reality gauges, I get error 52. (see images below) What is wrong here? I have all anti-virus software turned off. Nevermind, I got it to work.

I am wondering how dramatic the impact of 5-7 GHz processors will be for FSX? Because right now even 4 GHz doesn't allow for the ultimate experience. At 5-7 GHz will this sim get a new lease on life? I cannot see how it wouldn't. Right now I have an i5 2500k with a 5850 and feel like I am just waiting for an amazing CPU, at which point I will get the next gen GPU to go with it. Is the wait going to be 3 years? When does 5-7 GHz become common without OC?

I feel like everything I post get deleted and I actually put some time into that post. This is getting very irritating, the moderators of this forum need to cool it down. I usually get a lot of help here, unless the mods delete or move something... Did someone start an argument in my post and it got deleted? Either way, its not right that it got deleted. BTW, I just wanted to know how to get the PA 380 working in fsx because I was having a lot of trouble with it.

Guys, I am debating if should get Megascenery v2.0 , or if I should get ORBX Global. I fly mostly the Americas: USA, Mexico, Central America , and South America. Does this product covers these regions eficiently or only Canada and the U.S.? And which one is better, then in terms of quality ORBX Global or MS v.2.0
