When setting the ILS freq in my NAV/NAV2 and switching cdi to NAV1/Nav2, the approach autopilot does not always work; about 30% of the time it does. I also get similar results with the NAV autopilot. When using GPS, the AP works all the time. When the APP autopilot does work (plane moves towards the heading), the AP does not hold the glidescope, has actually plunged me into the ground 2 miles from the runway and sharply decreases / increases altitude.. Any help with this?

Hello, Guys! I use built-in Boeing 747-400 of FSX which has come from Microsoft Default in the game. Now problem is that when I take the plane at 37000ft, its ground speed remains at 470knots. But I want speed should be at least 500knots on this height or 500knots on 40,000ft but it doesn't happen. I've tried my best to increase the speed but it doesn't. I use always Autopilot to fly the plane and fly to long routes as well. At flightradar24, I've seen many B747, which remains 495, 500 etc.. on 39000ft height. So my question is that how they do it? Please tell me a method to increase the speed. Additional, when I cross 5000ft altitude, then I make my flaps…

I have a few Lionheart planes from over the years and enjoy them greatly. a couple of minor issues though: 1> Quest Kodiak- Love This Plane! also Mr Bill was very kind enough to forward me a gratis license for the Kodiak when it was released since I bought the old Kodiak from FS9! so props for that. is there an alternative to this plane to run in a home cockpit setup. Aerosoft Airbus doesnt have pop-out panels which is a shame. I have tried a demo of Project Magenta but they dont list any prices which is suspicious.

I apologize if this has been asked and answer, but I didn't find anything during my search. While in the spot view if I rapidly do a 360° pan I frequently get a flash or two during the pan of what may be scenery or sky textures. Not sure what causes this, but would like to find a potential solution. It's not a major big deal because I could just plan slower and alllow the GPU, memory or whatever catch up. I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard, but had the same issue with my old hardware. Any thoughts? Thanks, Ernie

Flight Simmers, I have noticed something regarding the flight controls on the Majestic Q400 (which I love flying, by the way), and I'm not quite sure whether or not I'm the only one this is affecting. My issue is simply that the VC yoke and tiller (and I think the rudder pedals as well) - along with the control surfaces - respond a second after I input the control via my yoke system (Saitek yoke/throttles; CH Products rudder pedals). It makes for a bit of a difficult flying experience. Hello, not sure if this was asked here, but i am not getting much help from imagine sim and was hoping maybe somone ran into this issue before and might have solution. On to problem: I bought 3 sceneries made by imaginesim KMCI/KDEN/VHDI VHDI no problems all works and seems to be correct, however kden it appears that elevation of texture or airport is not correct as my plane if positioned on runway the texture of runway comes up to buttom of my cessna, while the real runway appears to be below. no matter what i do, runways appear floating over another runways. Hello All, I am pretty new here, so sorry If I am posting this in the wrong place. I have been having a very annoying issue lately. It seems like when I do a flight where there is a change of daylight (morning-night/morning-dusk etc) parts of payware aircraft and payware scenery disappear (i.e. you will only see the engines, gear, lights, and parts of the cockpit, but the total model isn't there). This mostly happens in the Level-D 767, PMDG NGX, QW 757, at airports like FSDT JFK, Flytampa Boston, etc. But a lot of the time it happens in the air as well. Does anyone know how to disable the really loud warning sound that goes off as soon as you take off or extend flaps without your gear down? Its not the gear warning sound. Its a different really loud lower pitched bell.

I had one last night, it's pretty idiotic. :lol: Fired up FSX, decided to fly Munich - Warsaw, made a flightplan, fired up FSCaptain... On approach I noticed that I didn't got any vectors to intercept ILS, just cleared to land (using PFE). And I realised that I stupidly chose wrong destination airport (Babice GA airport) in the flightplan. Also on approach I've got a mechanical failure, Pitot tube blockage, due to a bird strike right after TO, but I didn't saw any anomaloes so I continued to the destination normally. The bane of any reinstall. I've just completed a reformat/reinstall of my system after trying Windows 8 for the last six months. I'm now back on Windows 7 and spent a couple of days getting my FSX installation back up and running with all my addons. Unfortunately I'm starting to hit the activation limit for various addons now and am having to contact the developers to get it all sorted. People I like very much FSX in spite of some problems I had with this program. Anyway, I noticed that FSX exaggerates sand/desert textures even in tropical areas (in my country for example). Actually, sometimes flying in the tropical interior of Brazil looks like being in the Arizona or Texas State... First question is there a freeware fix for this problem? Also, I read very good reviews about FTX, REX textures for FSX. Do they improve generic textures areas for South America / Brazil , for example? Should I expect less desert areas in Brazil? Hi, all. I have tried to search for this answer, but I am not finding the exact situation I have. I have FSX and Acceleration installed in my C drive, with VISTA as the O/S. I just added another drive into my case. I want to install FSX onto it for a seperate version of FSX for older aircraft. Is it as easy as just loading it out, or am I going to run into problems, and if so, what are the work-arounds? Thanks for any help or directions you can point me to. Don
