Hi folks, The current AI products we have on the market are simply too much out-dated. I have UT2 2013 and My Traffic5.4B, and they simply populate DL hubs with planes in the pre-2007 "Deltaflot" livery. UT2's schedule even shows a lot of DL routes that they no longer operate, actually long ended. They even have almost all UA planes in the pre-merger blue and white scheme. The new freeware Global AI v2.07 does nothing better. The JustFlight Traffic 360, still has Continental name on the current UA livery... Do you have an idea, which company produces an up-to-date AI package? Thanks.

I've noticed some aircraft (Turbine Duke is one) tend to accentuate the deleterious effect the presence of a visible mouse pointer on the screen can have on frame rate. I'll frequently see 10-17% or so reduction in frame rate during the 5 seconds or so the pointer remains visible after I've stopped moving it. Both of my last complete builds manifest this behavior. Helo, I'm having problems with some changes I made in my FSX. I bought a solid hard drive and switch FSX to this drive using the software that came with the it. Everything went perfect with no problems. I did the same with my windows 7 to another solid hard drive. Again everything went smoothly. I then decided to change the directory "documents" for a larger capacity disk. My current setup is as follows: C drive - Windows 7 Drive D - FSX Drive E - Documents. The problem occurs when I start a flight plan: The AI's come to stay with wrong altitudes below the ground. Hi people, Just bought EZdok because according to many it's a great add-on. Now before I start fiddling with settings randomly, I am reading the manual and immediately came accross this: "In the FSX controllers setup menu disable the HAT-switch of the game controller you plan to use for view control, ... " Thing is, I have absolutely no idea how to disable the HAT-switch in FSX. In any controller menu is there anything displayed with regard to a HAT-switch. Can you help me please? Note: I'm using the Saitek Cessna Yoke System.

Hi, Had FSX since release, but due to CTDs I pretty much never flew it until recently. I found out by accident the other night, that regardless of the cloud type, if I zoom in on the clouds (yes, zoom IN), the FPS drops like a rock until it is in single digits (2-3 FPS). Why do the clouds have such a negative impact on frame rate, and does anyone know of a way to increase the perf? Ironically, zooming OUT improved the frame rates. I have always noticed that the sim stutters/slows with lots of clouds (and cloud layers are particularly problematic). Note that I'm only using the stock clouds, and the texture res is limited to 1024x1024. I thought it v…

Hello friends I would like to know if you guys can help me. win 7 64. Im using ENB and shade, all sliders maxed out except water at high, dx9, the tweaks are applied to the cfg file, LOD set to 6.5 and TML to 4096 although I have REX clouds at 2048. I have a ton of addons, flying the NGX with FTX global severe weather I get frames in the 20s, however I get the OOM annoying error. Paging file is set to system managed, no viruses or whatsoever. With my rig (click MY PC) I believe Im not supposed to have this type of stuff. First off let me say that I have FSUIPC (paid version ). My controls are being operated by FSX.In my default Cessna 172, the engine will shut down without warning about one minute after I start. This seems to occur everywhere ( which is ORBX Global ), except My home airport which is Greater Cincinnati Airport ( which is Mega Earth Ohio ). My default Caravan doesn't have that problem, but after start before take off , I'll check the controls and sometimes they all work, but right after take off the ailerons and elevator won't work, but the throttle and rudder always work. So, I'm beginning my IFR training. The Gauges resolution and fidelity is very important. I remember a couple of years ago to see a Reality-XP pack of high quality gauges for most of the GAs, you just have to adapt to your panel. Anyoe still using that in FSX? If so, how good is that? Better than what's out there now? What I would really love of course if a proper C172 like the one A2A is making, but I guess that's some months away, so I'm trying to find a nice plane to start learning. Hi Stephen or someone... I have had this issue for some time and cannot fathom out the cause. For some reason, and it only happens when using real weather, ie Opus, as I don't use any other weather engine, but I continually see duplicate clouds. I can't remember seeing any other kind of 'double' clouds but only cirrus. Can anyone offer some help please. Cheers...

First sorry for the lengthy Title! So I have the Leo Maddog 2010 v3.3. I like it but the sounds are rubbish to be fair. Anyone using the TSS sound pack recommend it, does it fix any sound bugs too? Thanks.

Right before take off I check all controls and they work fine. Within a few minutes after take off the elevator, rudder and aileron fail. The throttle is fine. I've tried my FUISPC( paid version ), but that didn't work. I'm allowing the FSX controls to be enabled. They use to work fine using the FSX Controls. One night I tried to configure the FUISPC with no luck, I seem to think the FUISPC is still configured and that's whats causing the conflict, but don't know how to effectively delete or disable the FUISPC Controls.

Hi all, I am in the midst of making "The Big Change" going from FS9 to FSX. Yes it's been a few years, but I recently bought a new system good enough to give me a nice experience in FSX. However, during the installation of FSX (Gold) the other day, I was a bit excited and missed to create a custom directory for FSX. Now, I do have an SSD set aside for FSX alone. This is the disk I installed it on, but under a "Program Files (x86)" directory. From what I've heard, this could produce problems, even though it actually sits on a completely different physical disk from Windows 8. I tried to uninstall FSX but ran into trouble.. I wonder how you are using DX9 mode with lots of addon. I have CTD when I increase simulation rate or when I finish flying and after the menu choose another flight or alt-enter. DX10 doesn't crash FSX but it has night lightning problems. Only solution is to wait Steve's fixer but I know there are lots of people who use DX9 primary so am I doing something wrong?

Hi there, I normally use RouteFinder from flightsimaviation but some times the routes sugested dont exist on FMC or there are some routes that dont find any suggestions, I normally flight in South america, which will be the best considering database, easy to use, graphic view like a google plan, VOR database, etc I hear some about FSBUILD but would it be wright for south america? thanks

Hello everyone. I have searched for this question but couldn't find it here, if it has been asked before, please direct me to the thread and don't be offended. I've been flying the PMDG 747 for some time, doing auto take off and full auto land without problem. Hello guys, it's a bit of time that I wonder whether this effect is normal and inherent in FSX or if you can correct it in some way. I bought the MD-82 after reading all the appraisal about how great of an aircraft it was. I am having a problem within the VC: 1. I start Cold & Dark. Then I start turning on the switches on the overhead for preflight, and the displays (PFD, MFD, and FMC) turn on in the 2D cockpit, but not in the 3D cockpit. So you can see the displays running in the 2D panels, but on the 3D panels, they are black. Has anyone else had this, and know how to counter this problem? EDIT: I have another problem. Hi folks, Recently I'm flying around the New York City area with Drzewiecki Design's NY city (with the batch 50 patch) and FSDT's JFK V2. Although using DX10, fsx still OOMs... VAS was at around 3.7 Gb upon finishing loading. I use PMDG NGX Mcphat livery, LOD 4.5 TML 4096, extremely dense airport buildings and dense autogens. REX textures at 4096 res. So I decided to move the TML 4096 to TML 2048. The VAS usage came down to some 2.9 to 3.0 Gb upon loading! That saves a bunch of resources. I cannot really see the visual differences between 4096 and 2048. Do you notice the difference my friend? Thanks, Zicheng
