Does anyone know a quick way to prevent GSX give me Easyjet's logos on the ground vehicles when I'm in a Flybe plane, or BA when I'm in a Ryanair plane? I'd rather have no airline colours and just have the colours of handling agents to be honest like Servisair, Menzies etc! I know it's down to the airline codes in the BGL file in the airport scenery. Is there a fast (and non-scary) way to edit these?

I've read good about bad about Pro-ATC/X - I'm thinking of purchasing now as it seems many issues were sorted out ... even thought about doing my own ATC product, but given the complexity and existence of Pro-ATC/X, I abandoned the project. Would like to know if any major issues are still pending and specific compatibility with: 1. FSUIPC/WideFS 2. Traffic 360 3. PMDG AC Thanks, Rob.

Apologies is this has been dealt with before; I had a search but could not find anything... Despite saving the default flight with all batteries off and magnetos off my default cessna 175 loads with avionics on and sound of gyros spinning up. This seems to affect other payware aircraft - which load with all switches off but the default gyro sound playing and the GNS unit powered up. It started some time ago, but I can't think of any changes I made which could explain it. Hello, I am running version 3.2 but Ive had this issue since I have purchased the product. Didnt think too much of it but now its starting to bug me whether I have something inconfigured correctly. I am never able to Get the upper or lower atmospherinc conditions. It always says no data available for those two. Thank you for any help with this issue.

I'm having awful trouble trying to understand how it works (VNAV). I can use LNAV, typing in the waypoints etc. Though I am having trouble linking in SID's and STAR's to the waypoints. How do you calculate what airspeed or altitude you need. Can you program in a step clinb? How do you set it up in the first place? Thanks in advance

Hello, I am new to the forum, so please correct me if anything is wrong! I have a question, is it possible to control FSX (Weather/Engine Failures etc.) on another computer. So, for example, if I were training someone and I wanted to give them a sudden engine fire, I could do this, without interrupting the Pilot In Command. If this is possible, please explain! I'm using REX in the Caribbean along with Air Hauler and a lot of times there's no weather for the airport I am going into. Is there any way to search for nearest METAR other than flying over the field and trying to find a windsock?

Hi Can anyone point me in a direction to fix the problem I'm having with missing AI textures in fsx I downloaded the new FAIB a320 series aircraft and installed the fsx version I then downloaded A new set of textures for jetblue for this model version and installed them these textures are in .dds format with only 1 file for each of the different airline colour schemes in their own folder as per the installation instructions. My problem is that although the ai aircraft for jetblue shows up ok there are no textures visible on it and the aircraft is just black I don't think it should make any difference but i'm running in dx10 Thanks

Just got TIR5 in the mail today. My like-new used unit. Anyway, did all the necessary tweaks for it to work with ezca and fsx. *however* no way the default settings or "smooth" settings is going to work out of the box. I tweaked smooth to fit my needs but I'd like to try other people's profiles and see if I can get it even better. I have a single 24" monitor (16:10) so I need a profile that's built around that. I'm about to wipe my D: clean. I currently have FS9 and FSX on there with a lot of add ons. I'm going to re-install FSX fresh on this drive after uninstalling everything and I have a few questions. Is it really necessary to reboot (after defrag) before installing Acceleration? I have FSX Gold. I keep hearing this but I know there are people who follow NickN's stuff and others who don't. Just wondering what you guys think. I'm actually thinking, maybe, I might try an SSD if I can find a cheap 250G. If I go with SSD, I never have to defrag, right? A little off topic, but I have tried else including the Sim Market Customer Help and Real Environment forums. First, I am convinced that this is not a SIm Market problem. Second, I have had good success with Real Environment in the past During my FS2004 days. I am not making a negative statement about them or their products. I just update to 3.21 and notice that whenever OpusFSX updates the weather, its window pops out in sim and FPS drops significantly for about 5 seconds. It didn't happen in previous verison. What is wrong?

Probably beat to death topic wise, but.... Not to long ago i purchased the CLS 767. Major trim problem as it seemed to nose dive or not take off at all. Mapped one of my joystick buttons to raise lower trim which works well. CLS 767 i have to adjust every flight. Ok where am i going with this......Now i have to adjust trim for every aircraft now. They all nose dive or not take off at all. Anyone have an idea to zero out trim on all aircraft? TIA

In addition to the right mouse click to get a display of the AI traffic, I remember there is another way to get a listing in table format of all the AI TRAFFIC. Could somebody tell me how to do that. Thanks. Abe

Hope somebody can help me out. How can I have a perfectly running sim with a smooth constant 30 FPS one day and the next time I fire up fsx my FPS has dropped to 0.6 FPS and completely unflyable. I've tried a clean cfg file, reinstalled drivers (320.18 which I've been using for age's) reg clean etc, etc, hopefully someone can help me out here Cheers Rod.

I know how to setup flight plans on FMC on Boeings, does it work the same way on the Garmin GNS 530? For planes like the realair lancair legacy, can I program it to land on ILS runways, so that it can autoland and intercept the loc and gs? I'm not sure if these planes equipped with the 530 can use CATIII runways to autoland. Which method do I use or rather what instrument approach chart do I refer to when flying these planes? RNAV GPS, VOR, ILS, etc? I'd appreciate if someone can help me create a simple flight plan from Honolulu (PHNL) to Dillingham Airfield (PHDH) using the GNS 530.

Is there a tutorial or a PDF with instructions on how to reorganize your scenery files using the scenery manager (shareware that prompts me to pay up ever 2 minutes)? I have like 35 entries for NL2000 and I want to create a folder called NL2000 and then drag all the 35+ lines of sceneries into this folder hoping it would maintain the order after the move. I created a folder and then I tried to select all the lines by bracketing select + sh!ft select. That did not work.. then I deslected all and then check selected one by one and then tried to drag this set of 35 into the newly created folder which I was unable to do. Hi there, I just purchased FTX Global and would like to add some more mesh from FS Genesis. Does anyone know how to add the free world mesh they advertise on their site to the shopping basket? I already have more than the required amount in my basket, but the free world mesh doesn't show up anywhere in my shopping cart. Cheers, Pete

Hi, Anytime I fly with Overland aircraft, after a few minutes at the gate my vc goes dark and I can't access radio's etc. I'm assuming this is something to do with the batteries draining? I have already added the line "electric_always_available = 1" to the aircraft.cfg after a bit of googling suggested that could be a solution but it doesn't seem to have worked. Hi, This is the second time this has happened in only a few weeks. Out of nowhere when I start a flight the menu bar at the top that is accessed by alt is gone and I am unable to right click, to change views etc... They both worked perfectly then I started a new flight and then they're gone. I rectify this by deleting the cfg and letting fsx create a new one and all is then ok again. But this process means I'v to change all the setting again. I do not want to have to do that every couple of weeks. Has anybody experienced this? Know of a solution? Thank you.
