I heard three years ago when this plane was released, there was an out of memory bug quite often present. However since that time two service packs were released so I wonder if Concorde-X's memory management within FSX improved now?

Greetings to the forum. After a fresh install of my OS and FSX to solve old issues I now have a new problem with FSX and boxed add on planes. I only tried two, Just Flights EE Lightning and FCS Lancaster. After installing from their CD, When I fire up FSX and choose either, the plane is incomplete (see screenie) The default planes are fine. Any suggestions for a fix for this would be appreciated. I am almost ready to take flight simming to the next level. Currently I am flying with an Xbox 360 controller and mouse. I am ready to step it up and get a decent setup to make the experience much more realistic. I enjoy flying a wide variety of aircrafts ranging from commercial airliners such as the PMDG 737/747 and the soon to be released 777 to GA planes, jets, helicopters. I pretty much like it all. So with that being said. I have done some reading but would really like some input from the community on what to purchase. Hi Looking for a bit of advise or help regarding ai aircraft textures I've just downloaded and installed the new faib ai airbus and installed the jetblue textures which are in a .dds format however when I start fsx and go to an airport where jetblue operate my a320's are just black with no textures. There are no other textures in the texture folder and i'm running in dx10 mode any help would be appreciated Thanks

Hi there, I'm searching a tool which can show a graph of deceleration after touchdown. I want to analyse the auto brake function of some addon airplanes and how it works with/without autothrust. I want a graph which shows deceleration rate in ft/s^2 or a speed/time graph. Is there any tool like this?

Hi Stephen/Cheryl, I have just reinstalled FSX, however I left my Opus install alone, once I had reinstalled PMDG 737NGX the outside camera's show the aircraft as a skeleton! I remember having this many moons ago when I installed EZKA, but for the life of me I can't remember the cure. Any ideas?

So I finally bought a new PC to use Eaglesoft's Cirrus add-on to help me with avionics, navigation, and IFR training (I'm a real pilot). Well, with everything installed, Eaglesoft informed me that their software doesn't run yet on Windows 8: "Good for you but we do not run Win8 and can’t assist more than we have already. The Cirrus series works well on Win7 and that is our suggestion. Hi Folks, Long time lurker, first time poster. Couldn't seem to find an answer to this one with the search function, so here goes. With EZDOK, is there anyway to keep a 2d panel 'popup' window open while changing views in a virtual cockpit? I use EZDOK to get me around the PMDG NGX cockpit, but whenever I hit a button I've set on the yoke on the yoke to glance up at the overhead switches/radios etc. it automatically closes any of the EFIS popups I like to keep open...any way to 'anchor' them on the screen so I can keep them open while changing VC views in EZDOK? Hope that makes sense - thanks in advance for your advice.

Is there such a thing? Could something of such beauty ever exist? Developers don't like putting them in the planes for some reason. But even if they were in the planes and did the simplest task of telling us if there was some bad air ahead. I feel like this is one of the big things that im missing out on in my planes. Having a weather radar would give me something to watch during long cruises. We have plenty of great weather producing addons for Fsx, and why not throw in the radar to show us where the turbulence is.

Hey guys, After countless ctd issues with ENB and fxsweet I have gave up on them. Is there anything else a guy can do to help the washed out look in FSX? I have gone into my Nvidia control panel and adjusted my vibrance, contrast, and brightness settings. That did help quite a bit but still not to my liking. I also use Shade and that has seemed to darken the VC to much. Once I get the VC to my liking everything else looks to bright and over saturated. Anything else I can try?

Is it possible to take gauge popup windows, un-dock them, and get them to display and function on a 2nd PC? For example, with the FT ERJ 135, I would pop-up the ND, un-dock it, and somehow drag over / get it to display on another (probably networked) computer.... I understand I could just move it to a 2nd or 3rd monitor but all monitors on the main PC are spoken for, and I'm really looking to relieve the gpu and cpu from driving any additional graphic data (so I can at least maintain good fps). So far I've only seen FSExpand...but not sure if you have to use their own proprietary gauges, or whether you can display any aircraft gauge per the method I mentioned …

Hello! I'll try to be as clear as I can be because my native tongue is french. I have installed yesterday FSX Gold from digital download from GFWL,( Games for Windows Live ) everything went well until I launch the game, their was an error message, that I did not wrote down so I can tell you. So I decided to uninstalled the game and went into the regedit command to uninstall anything related to FSX Gold. After doing this I went back to try to uninstall the game and I still can't. Why is the flight1 wrapper for Ezdok interpreted as a virus? I had trouble downloading the software from the site, also I ran a virus scan, and guess what it delete the wrapper? I had to disable to get Ezdok to install.

I would like to know the depth of accuracy with opus' engine. Are wind shears possible? Clear air turbulance? Micro/ Macro bursts near CB/TS? Drafts? Jetstream? How much data is collected to be used? If I fly though a CB could I expect to experience vertical shifts? Also is it possible to model wake turbulence and icing? -Icing: When it is present, opus could slowly decrease the efficiency of the wings, increase aircraft weight, clog pitot tubes etc unless deicing equipement is used- if it can handle it. -Wake tubulence: based on size radius of ai plane and speed Thoughts?

Good day, Looking for some help please. I get the following error when I try and run OpusClient on a client machine, the server version works perfectly on my FSX machine. The client is running Windows 7 Pro 32bit SP1. I have setup all the shares and permissions according to the network manual and can move files between the client and the server and visa versa. I have checked in the registery and DotNet 2,3 and 4 are installed (Checked this way as suggested on Microsoft site) As I will only be using weather on the client I have not setup FSUIPC or FSX on the client. Two questions in this thread really.... First there is a sticker on the rear wall of the cockpit above the APU panel that says "Caution clear reversers before starting APU" What does this mean exactly? Second, if the plane is plugged in to External Power and External Bleed Air, why do I need to start up and use the APU? The thing is bloody noisy. If it matters, this relates to the CS727 btw.
