The title says it all. I've seen posts in several searches of other people asking the same question but I've never seen an answer to this. I have posted in Aerosoft's AAX thread on their forum too but responses there take forever or never happen. I have the paint kit or at least what I think is the paint kit(the one with several sample liveries and the 320NEO appears to be "the base"). But, there is no documentation that I can find on what is what. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Has anyone had a problem with FS pilotshop updates? I am trying to get my full version 1.008 but all I am allowed to download is a hotfix 1.00801 or something like that. I currently have v1.007 Also, I have never figured out my problem for gettin a cabin pressure annunciator light. I do not know what I am supposed to in order to pressurize the cabin. after looking for countless of hours and watching youtube videos with annoying music that I can't tell what they are clicking anyway, I have given up. I'm not a complete idiot, I have figured out how to do CAT II approaches but it escapes me how to pressureize the cabin. I have no warnings or anuunciator lights …

I do a search on google, and all i get is SIDs and STARs but I am talking about nighttime sky, like with a milky way, and different size, and colored stars, anything out there?

I have a problem with my pro flight yoke system by saitek when I use it with the erjs v2. Whenever I move the lever past 25 %n1 or so it jumps right up to max t/o thrust.It's ok when you have to take off but it makes it all difficult when you have to land because you can't control your speed right. if I want my power set at say %65 n1 I have to use either f2 or f3. I tried calibrating my throttle with fsuipc but I have to say I did not succeed. Any idea on how to have my throttle calibrated so that I can have finer/"granular" control of power ? I would like to be able to set my power at whatever % I think appropriate and not just flight idle/25% or full thrust…

I installed LINDA today (because I can't handle FSUIPC on its own) but now I get a LINDA console onscreen everytime AND a LUA message that LINDA has loaded. There MUST be a way to get rid of this all? I want that console to start minimized and I don't want that LUA message at all. Anyone knows how to get that done? Last year (yesterday) I installed W7 onto my new SSD, installed FSX - everything is installed just perfect, purchased REX 4 yet I can't seem to get good enough looking clouds - they look weak and aren't very dense looking. I have cloud draw distance set up quite a bit. Before on my old Hard Drive the clouds looked perfect, but now I can't figure out how they looked so good yet now they look so bad. Any suggestions??

As I advance through the FS2004 "Flying Lessons," Im finding that some lessons have no audio (which means I'm spared Rod Machado's bad jokes and puns, but then I don't get the lesson either :-)). Speficially, the first solo flight lesson under Instrument Flying has no sound. Most of the other lessons do, but a few don't. Anyone else experience this? Anyone have a fix? Also, every time I exit a lesson without completing it, the program crashes to desktop . . . same questions. Thanks, Gary.

Hello in new year I want to look at FTX Global from closer POV than NGX currently lets me - I am searching for a plane for low level flights. Two planes which looks interesting are A2A Cessna and PMDG J41. I know this are totally different aircrafts but what I look for is nice graphics and full plane simulation with all the knobs and switches working. It can be a larger turboprop or a smaller plane - which one would You consider to be the best out of the two mentioned above? Or maybe there is something more interesting on the market? Also what do You think about Carenado planes?

Happy new year everybody. I made up a new pc for christmas since my old one with Windows XP is going to be too much old (and XP not supported anymore in a few months). This new one is a Windows 7 64bit Home edition, and I decided to migrate from FS9 to FSX (or give it a chance, at least). I bought a FSX Gold edition package and tried to install it. Unfortunately, it remains stuck at the installshield window, and I can't go further in spite of all my attempts. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but ive been searching for the answer for a couple hours to no avail. I am using Mytraffic 2013 and editvoicepackX. How can I change how atc addresses GA aircraft? Sometimes they use "beech 123" and i would prefer " king air 123", sometimes they (and the pilot) use "N1234" and i would prefer "challenger 1234"' sometimes it seems they dont know what it is and use "12d" etc. Any way to manually change what they say? I just got done editing a whole bunch of military air.cfg files to add more realistic atc_airline= commands, so i feel like i can do it, just not sure how. Any help greatly appreciated!

I took off today out of PHKO, (Kona) in the 377 SkyMaster. I wanted to see if I could head up and over the highest peak on the island, and settled from sea level into my climb. Well...I was just slightly below the crest of the mountain, on the airport side...and amongst some clouds, being at nearly 10,000 feet! I still had a few hundred feet to climb, to clear the ridge. I saw something in the distance, about 900 feet below the crest on a slight 3 degree slope, and decided to get closer. I have the FTX Global for FSX. I was anxiously waiting for the FTX Vector and was disappointed after reading the opinions of a few guys who bought it and also was not very impressed with the pictures posted by them. However, today, I came across the openVFR which is also using OSM. The pictures are very impressive and looks like it can do the same job that FTX vector can do at a fraction of a cost. I have a few questions before I buy it though : 1. openVFR compatibility with FTX Global? 2. They have the following options to select from...openVFR terrain & openVFR mesh(75m). Which one of these should I consider buying keeping in mind that I already have FT…

While taxiing at some airports the ground textures will change near to where the aircraft is moving. This change moves along with the aircraft, while more distant ground textures (ie. more than 300' away) remain stable. I have Orbx sceneries installed however the airports where this happens are nowhere near the Orbx sceneries and I haven't noticed the issue in at any airports in the Orbx areas. I've noticed this issue at SBGR (Sao Paulo) and WIII (Jakarta). Anyone know what causes this, and how to fix it? Best to all, Ken Boardman

I picked up FSX via the Games For Windows Live Marketplace almost a year ago. Since it's been officially closed and support has been terminated, I decided to contact MS to see exactly how I go about getting my Digital version for when or if I preform at system restore, which I do about once a year. The support agent basically told me I was ###### outta luck, though not in so many words. Just thought I'd let everyone know that their Digital Copy, if they purchased it from the MS GFWL store, is now a digital paperweight. My day is now complete... :angry:

Hi... I am a complete "newbie" to FSX. I have downloaded the base FSX packages (pa32x_fsx_models.zip) and installed them into FSX. However...could somebody be so kind as to give a step by step guide as to how to install liveries and make the aircraft appear in the FSX Aircraft menu please? Many thanks....

I've prepared a Checklist to get you up in the air as quickly and safely as possible. It's based on the excellent second tutorial by Brendan Ratchford. To speed things up, I've left out some of the 'non-essential for sim flight' emergency tests. The format is the same as the Checklists that I made for the PMDG JS41 and the DCS Series, so if you know them, you'll be right at home. I fly with VOXATC, so the flow is tailored to flying with a 'reasonably' realistic ATC. Hey, I really wanna fly either the Airbus A330-200 or A340-600 aircraft from Thomas Ruth as my heavy. The models are native to FSX and have fantastic FPS but the problem I'm having is that the autopilot does not seem to level off properly on both the planes the AP levels off before the assigned altitude and then bounces up and down sometimes indefinitely before it reaches the selected altitude. Any ideas?

Hello all, Sorry if this has been beat to death. Looking for the highest quality terrain mesh for Canada and perhaps the entire continent if practical. I've looked at ORBX' work and they seem to be of very high quality. Are there others ? And do these also create a more realistic landclass ? Thx in adv Ryan

Hi all Just wondered if anyone has had this and has a solution I've just installed the StMaarten scenery 1.7 and have no jetways visable (I have all options ticked to install in the setup) I however have an aircraft embedded in the terminal with only the tail showing so I think this might be similar to the orbx and UK2000 airports problem that causes an identical problem.The only problem here is that I have no other scenery installed for ST Maarten to delete that that file including the default fsx file which I have disabled. Any ideas on a fix Thanks

Lately my ATC has started getting crazy. Yesterday I was flying to FlightBeam KPHX using iFly 737 and ASE weather. When ATC had me descending, it then assigned me 26 even though ASE was showing winds out of the east at about 5. But where I was it was out of the west. On approach there were planes landing on 26 and 25L but then there were planes t/o from 7L and some on final for 7R and 8. So there were planes coming in from all direction. This has happened at KIAD, KLAX. It hasn't been like this until lately. I will be upgrading to ANS. It would be nice if you could set the distance that you can capture the destination airport weather. When I use to use fsmeteo …

Hello all, I'm not sure if this is the right place, but i just recently acquired Taxi 2 Gate's KMCO, which is amazing. Hats off to them with all the details, but im having a problem with the bridges, they all seem to be too high. Any suggestions on how to fix it? its not just on the one side, its on all the bridges. I still haven't been able to re-install FSX Deluxe. I am still getting Failed to load DLL: Gameuxinstall Helper. I have been to the Microsoft site and CCleaner. All to no joy. I was wondering if the FSX Gold might solve the problem. Any one know? Hereis my sys info. I own the CS 757, and have for many years, probably since it came out, is it still the only complex version of this aircraft out there? Has anyone else other than Quality Wings done it? I'm aware of LDS 767, but I am looking for a 757. Again the question is, are there any other options? Or should I just reinstall the CS?
