Just saw over at ADX that Drzewiecki Designs is doing a UUEE. :Party: http://airdailyx.blogspot.com/2014/01/drzewiecki-moscow-sheremetyevo.html Although there is a decent freeware version over at Avsim.ru I am happy that a notably good payware developer is doing this one, but I am a little surprise and disappointed that they aren't doing Domodedovo first. Maybe they will do Domodedovo in the future.

I've just installed the Majestic Dash 8 - Q400 on my system. (Not an easy process, as I had all sorts of issues and had to uninstall and reinstall FSX to get it working.) Now I find there's no 2D panel view. Apparently, that's standard for the Pilot edition, though not made clear on the Just Flight website until you delve deep into the product reviews. I hate flying with a VC view - too much time and effort spent adjusting the viewpoint, zooming, panning etc. rather than just operating the aircraft. With a 2D panel, most of the switches and gauges are there, ready to be seen and used, and a simple kb shortcut brings up the rest, which I can then send to my other m…

No matter where I fly, I'm picking up low visibility from the ground up to around 6,000'. I disabled REX Weather, Disabled everything in OPUS that might cause it. In FSX I use clear skies . No idea what is causing this, Should I go into FSX Config. ? Thanks in advance !

Hi there, I've experienced this issue for a while now, and now it's become a real problem. :( If I set my weather to anything else apart from 'fair weather', I get multi-colored stripes in the sky while I'm flying (see attachment). I'm not sure if it's a texture issue or not. :unsure: I would really prefer not to reinstall, but if anyone would know how to fix this it would be much appreciated. Hey, I am wondering is there a triple screen fix for Rain in FSX DX9 Mode only. I do see in the forums, that there is a fix in DX10. But at the moment, I have to run FSX in DX9 (took me forever to get it right, not jumping to DX10 at the moment...) I just need to change the crappy rain cylinder to fill the entire screen. I have noticed a strange issue at some of my add on airports, whereby there seem to be a blend of "default" taxiway/runway textures and add-on. What I mean is, the taxiway will be say, a very light shade of grey from the add on textures, and then will all of a sudden stop and go into really dark grey with no gentle boundary between the two, just BAM - dark to light etc. I don't know if this is some kind of texture conflict, or whether at the airports in question, it's trying to simulate some parts of the taxiway/runway being freshly laid? wrong forum, sorry but I don't know where to post this! I have very dark textures at night, the airport lightning, especially the terminals, the airplane lights are very vague, runway turnoff lights are not visible at all, i think just from a special angle, I had and 7950 Radeon that I have uninstalled and now I'm, running FSX on single GPU 2x 770GTX 4GB also the Lights indicating rate of descent and cockpit is almost pitch black, should it be like this, did i have the wrong view when I had AMD? Flying from KBUF to KJFK I noticed these green springs started appearing. Ive never seen them before and dont know what could have caused this. The closer to JFK I got the more of them there seemed to be.

Greetings, A very strange thing happens with the standard FSX ATC when I enter the main airspace (for above 10.000 feet) with Frankfurt in the middle. All adjacent airspaces like Munich, Langen and Zurich are working fine. But ATC can not detect a name for this region. In real life it should also be Langen, but I guess this might be Frankfurt in FSX. But I can't find which name it should be, or why and where it is missing. And Frankfurt airport is working fine, byt the way. No problems with that name below 10.000 feet on approach or on the tarmac. Has anyone figured out how to make all three work in terms of turbulence, G forces, WX radar, landing gear failures, and general settings across the board? I have yet to see the WX radar display anything but giant red storms on clear skies. Also every flight is negative G penalties and broken landing gear. Thanks

Does anyone own the FSD Cessna 337 Skymaster?I installed mine yesterday and for some reason when I hover the mouse over the panel (2D or VC) the text is all garbled:(Not seen this before in any of my addons (see pic attached with red circle).It also appears to have bits of the VC missing. Hello all! Whenever I 'leave' FSX there is a 50/50 chance that my joystick will disconnect (Sucky Windows 8 problems). So I can't leave the sim or enter another program (Like, opening chrome during flight or such). Doing so would require a 'reload' of fsx via taskmanager which may or may not cause the sim to crash.(It makes the joystick magically reconnect) Anyway, the NGX offers fueling directly in the aircraft, hurrays for me! But now I want to know how to refuel the airbus....is the refuel program required or do I enter all values in the sim, in the FMC (Or MCDU whatever it's called ) So, if I enter the sim, do I have to 'leave' fsx at any other point w…

Hi, On the Razbam website the downloads for the Intruder and Prowler manuals just 404. Looking through the support forums and seeing requests have been posted as well as also requesting both there and on Facebook has not seen anyone upload the manuals to their website. So I realized when I was installing planes to UT2 some don't come with night textures and some do. The planes that do have night lighting where should I put the FSX light map folder? Does it go in the plane folder or does it go in the texture folder or somewhere else? Also some of the planes come with extra texture files like dxt 1 and dxt5 I think or something. I have just been ignoring those. Should I be using either of those instead or do I not need to worry about either one of those?

When I load up FSX, the time and date is always in sync with my system because I have "Use system time for free flight" checked and also in FSUIPC I have a similar option as this one enabled. So when you load a free flight this all works fine, but when you load your saved flight back up, this doesn't work. It only puts the system time in sync, but not the system date. Lately I noticed the date in FSX was like 2 weeks behind on the actual date. I only use saved flights every time so that is why. But does anyone know how to make FSX select the date automatically even when loading up a saved flight? The reason this bothers me is because of seasonal textures.

My questions: Is there a way of getting more variable turbulence with dhm and bump aircraft. I am getting either all or nothing in flight. And is there a way to get more dramatic up and down movement of aircraft. I fly RW cherokee 140 east of blue ridge mountains. On northwest wind days it can be throttle wide open to maintain altitude and then throttle all the way back trying to stay down and below maneuvering speed. The Opus turbulence as I have setup now already is the most challenging I've seen for prepar3d/fsx, I like it! With more dramatic thermals/air wave turbulence it would be RW challenging and spot on. Hello, does anyone else flying the NGX finds problem with "bump aircraft " option after updating to last version ? i tried all kind of DOF setting but still seems like when i try to bank the plane it has a delay in the movement and then when its banking its freezes at the angle. once i switch off the bump aircraft its ok. any ideas ? thank you !

I personally am one of those flyers who like the Carenado products. I enjoy the eye candie. That said I have been following the developmental shots of the B1900. Hope we don't have to wait too much longer to see the final product.
