Yesterday, after 2 hours of download I finally got the awesome Falcon business Jet. This is the best plane I have ever seen!!!!compared to this one, some of the deafult are really disappointing.OK here's the question, specially for those experienced simmers that have tested many 3rd party AC, freeware or payware:Are there more planes as detailed as the falcon not only in their 3d models, but also in their flight dinamics and simulated systems as well?every response is welcome. Airliners, GA A/C and classics.

Flightsimcentral shipped my GF-166 unit to me ( along with a rack,GF-LGT, and GF-T8 ) they will arrive on Monday.:-kewl :-yellow1 Have any of you GoFlight users had problems with FSUIPC and GoFlight?I caught a posting somewhat to that effect on "some other flight sim site".Of course I need FSUIPC for FSMeteo. I would like to see the following added on:1. GPS blanking, im not a real pilot but every so often if you fly in certain weather conditions, cant your gps occasionally blank out now and then?? this would add incredible intensity to the flight and force someone to make a back up vor to vor plan, or just dead reckoning. this would be nice to have it blank the defualt and the reality xp one as well.. or is this figured in allready??2. the ability to have no passenger at all, in other words, i just did a haul for BFU to pick up some kayakers, well the only one on board was "me" no pax, so.. it shouldn't factor in pax discomfort etc.3. also, and this is very important to me,…

Due to problems with FS I recently reinstalled Win 98SE as a duel boot with XP to see if it would solve my problem. I solved it so all works great in XP and I would like to remove the duel boot and Win98SE without having to reinstall XP. I once heard there is a comand line that will change the master boot record and accomplish this. Does anyone know if this is true and what it is?Thanks,K

Hi all. I'm curious...I am having a problem with FS2002 not holding its joystick settings ( it keeps loosing the throttle assignment among other things. When looking around, I found this file (fs2002dw.cfg) which appears to be a duplicate cfg file. Anyone know what this file is or what it does? Any help appreciated. This is off topic, but I figure you guys are the best ones to ask.On another game, I keep getting the "unable to open opengl subsystem" error, or something like that making it impossible to run some games.Anybody heard of this, and is there a way to fix it.I have a GeForce3 Ti 200 video card.Thanks in advance.John

I have just installed FS2002 on a new computer (my old one died). Normal install into Win2000. Install worked with no problems. But there is a problem - the elevator on every aircraft is in the max up position and the joystick does not move it. All other axis work just fine. I use a MS Sidewinder Pro USB.I can calibrate the joystick, and I have many times - and it works just fine. During calibration, all axis move correctly and the correct amount. The joystick is working fine.I can go to keyboard mode and the aircraft flies ok - the elevator works as per normal, etc. As soon as I turn on the joystick - the elevator flicks to max up. Hello everybody , I created a virtual airline a few weeks ago and I need a 767-400 with my colors... I already painted a 737-400 for dreamfleet ( much more easy than a normal aircraft , that's why I could do it ! ) but I can't repaint any ' normal ' aircraft...Can somebody help me ?Thanks a lot

Is there a fix for the erroneous Kingair fuel quantity gauge ? they just seem to spin slowly around. I am using the great Steve Small airfile with the jspanel.

At the tips, I see a tip that move night textures from flight sim 2000 to 2002 would improve night lighting? I want feedbacks before I do it. Right now I am using FSW night lights.ThanksBrian

1) Do give a look to the manual (I hate them too!)-some of the instruments work in a particular way and some questions I have seen are explained......2) The flaps have no "notches"-they are up and down depending on how long you hold them. On the real plane you look out the side to see how much you have-without the vc you can't do that here. Just be aware if you go for "one notch" you are possibly putting full flaps out-hence the airspeed warnings3) This is a definate bug-so I will confess. FS does not like two instances of the autopilot going at the same time (main panel and copilot view). I had to make a choice (perhaps this will be coded in the future) of leaving out th…

Geof,I wanted to thank you for your wonderful gift to the flight sim community. I spent a all night flying your bird. I didn't scratch it either, I promise! ;)The panel is very smooth, and I love the instruments. They are very clear and crisp. My fiance, came in and was watching me for a few minutes and wanted to know why you had a "radar detector" on the dash... I just grinned and told her it was to make sure I didn't speed while I was flying. She bought it and went to bed. I didn't really explain to her what it was. I downloaded what I thuoght was Version 1.1 of Flightmax in order to take advantage of the resizing feature.However, what I downloaded (the site said v1.1), it still seems to be V1.0.Anybody else had that problem, or am I forgetting something?ThanksJohn

Geof,The wait was well worth the final product. The flight model is beyond what I expected, and all the views from the Deb are gorgeous. I'm in a little learning curve right now with the AP, but I read the instructs again, and I think I'll give her another spin tonight and try my hand at that Autopilot. I don't have Reality XP, but am considering it after hearing how much you like it.Love having 4 people aboard. I think this is a FIRST! I've installed Geofs marvellous AC with the Reality XP panel and renamed the flightline gau as instructed. However, with the exception of the GL50 and the FL15M, the remaining FL30 & FL70 don't respond to any mouse clicks at all. Leaving the Stec AP off doesn't make any diff. If I switch say to the default Cessna, all the XP gauges work ok.Have I failed to spot something I should have done?

Hello all.I have re-installed FS2k2. Had uninstalled for a while, since I was really busy with work, and if I had it, I would definetely play more than I should ;-).Anyways, I installed on my second partition, which is NTFS, and, opposite as before, I get lockups very often. Does it have anything to do with the file system in this partition? because I have not changed any hardware in my computer, and besides for the Detonator driver (latest one), all my settings, including the ones inside FS, are the same.I would definetely appreciate any help I can get, for I am very eager to go back to FS now that I have some time.Best Regards.
