Is there a package of replacement textures available for the default AI Dash8 aircraft in FS2002? I have replaced all the other aircraft and AI airline callsigns with real airlines but I couldn't find any repaints for the Dash8./Jimmi

Hi AVSIM guys,I'm wondering what the upload problem is with Geof's B33... From the little thats been posted about it, I get the feeling that there is some kind of new upload policy that somehow has tripped up the B33's posting. Since some sort of unknown new policy could affect all developers, I'd really appreciate if you could outline what the problem could be so we can avoid such a long delay in the future with other works (I think this one has been stuck in your pipeline for, what, four days?).Thanks,http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/elrondlogo.gifhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/flyurl.gif

I'm kinda surprised there isn't a real high quality 757/767 package with a virtual cockpit around yet. Might be easier since you could use 2 types of aircraft with one virtual cokpit. Anyone know of plans for one in the near future?cheers!!

Istanbul Ataturk airport scenery is updated. You can download either the full version or the update, together with the AFCAD file at my site; www.ltba.net .The update includes some new static models and fixes of some bugs in the initial version I released a month ago;- gates are now more realistically positioned- grey blocks in aircraft parking places eliminated- lightposts in front of domestic terminal moved up to the roof (thanks to Peter Sidoli for catching this bug :-) )LTBA scenery models were developed with gmax and the frame rates have been pleasantly high so far.You can also learn more about the airport if you visit the site. Please do not hesitate to share with me…

Looking at a few of the posts in the forums lately. I have noticed a number of persons very pleased with some of the add-ons (freeware and payware). And I just wanted to put my 2 cents in.Usually I would not mess with my scenery, or "add-on" anything other than a new aircraft, and maybe an airport or two. BUT!! Tonight I went all out!! I added the water effects By Ed Truthan (oceanfx.zip & oceantx.zip), AWESOME!!! The water has taken on a new life especially where I live in Nassau, Bahamas. The water is exactly as it is on the shoreline and out further. Then I added the mstrees2.zip by Gerrish Grey, all I can say is WOW!! Then, yes there is more, I added the aut…

Most of the time I fly large jets at 35000 feet and, on the whole, at that height the default FS2002 scenery is acceptable. However I have recently come across one significant deficiency when flying at night. Australia is by and large sparsely populated yet when flying across inland NSW at night there is so much town/city lighting that from a distance it seems like one vast metropolitan area, particularly if you have installed the replacement textures that make cities whiter and brighter at night. The only parts without lights are the few forested areas. This wasn't an issue with FS2000 so something has changed about the way textures are rendered at night in FS2002.Th…

Hi All, With great pleasure I am pleased to announce in the Birmingham Courts (UK) this morning, Peter Tishma AKA Bob Hale, lost an appeal against the winding up order against his company Corperate Worldwide Ltd.The order was executed this morning after a pathetic feeble attempt to appeal. In total the case lasted 10 minutes. If you, the reciever reads this, look very very closely at the accounts, I'm confident you will find enough to bring a criminal case against this firms directors.George

Someone correct me if I am wrong, please. Francesco's website says that Autogenious has been tested with FS2002 default textures and with his Italy Landpack. It also says that it has not been tested with Lennart's replacement textures or with any commercial texture package.I've been experimenting with Autogenious, using it with the default FS textures, Lennart's and Ruud Faber's textures. It doesn't seem to properly position the autogen objects when Lennart's or Ruud's textures are in use. With the default FS2002 textures it seems to work beautifully, as previously reported by others here.Has anyone noticed that Autogenious works with Lennart's or Ruud's textures? If the …

Hi again girls, well my nightmare is upon me again. Maybe a literate videos person can enlighten me. Problem: After I downloaded and installed "FSWGroup Clouds Pack 1", and also "MSrees.zip" my video seems to have lost its clarity (maybe its a smoke effect within the FSW program)! But worse I notice the "new" trees seems to be "bubbling" and "jiggling" as I fly over. They seem very "busy" and glitter like they are vibrating back and forth.I know I can remove the trees (I made backups of the defaults thankyou)and start again fresh but I'm wondering if I have missed something in my video set up in windows. I have a Radeon 8500 ATI with 64 Ram, my system is a 2 ghz Athlon…

Hi allIt's ironic that such an aviation anorak as myself should be so afraid of flying on airliners, but there it is. I am. I have to get on another one next week, and I'm already starting to get a knot in my stomach about it.So I was hoping for a few words of wisdom from my fellow enthusiasts....Sorry for the OT nature of the post, but I thought you'd all understand!Regards

Of course, I'm the kinda guy who always "upgrades"...no matter what! Someone once told me though, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Well, to cut a long story short, I did upgrade to the Nvidia 2840 drivers. I kept having lockups during a flight, expecially with complex panel (like on the 747)and when switching views, etc. For weeks and weeks, I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I did so many ctl+alt+del's that I was almost ready to REINSTALL MSFS2002. Today I decided to revert back to the 2311's. Just finished a great flight from KORD to KDTW with the 747 and flew in real weather. The flight went very smooth with high frame rates, and touched down after a pretty good I…

Can (at least) basic flight instruments be added to an acft that has a virtual cockpit provided with the model already? (or do the instruments need to be referenced by the model itself?)

Aerosoft's German-language website carries a small news paragraph, that Wilco's Airport 2000 Vol 1 has been updated for FS2002.However, checking Wilco's site (www.wilcopub.com), and there's no mention of it whatsoever. Can anyone shed any light as to whether this is going to be a patch, or a brand new version - and when it might be available? Be good if it was, as it contains Paris CDG and New York JFK. Unfortunately, I already have the other airports in the package from other suppliers, both payware and freeware.CheersRob
