Can anyone assist me? Each time I try to load FS2002 it comes up with a message `unable to run from a restricted user account. Pleaseuse an account such as administrator` Can anyone explain to me what the problem is and how I can resolve it please. I would be most gratefulYours John

if anyone is having a problem with XP conflicting with FS or am I just not living right?If you followed my disaster last weekend, you'll recall I had a near catastrophic loss of data when I tried to relocate a hard drive. im a little late i know.. but i just downloaded the dassault falcon 50 and the update patch from the library. i must say what an amazing aircraft... however i have one concern... How do you close the door? i know it automatically opens and closes, but is there a key to press to activate the door to open or close? thanks a lot, keep the blue side up

Hi All, I'm new to this forum. And new to Geoff's truly significant new freeware of the "Debonair". I just d/l it yesterday, and from what little I have seen so far, it surpasses a couple of the 'Payware' planes I have in my hangar.But I do have a problem in loading the aircraft. When I select from the Select Aircraft menu (regular), I get only a black silhouette, and when the B-33 comes up on the screen it is still just completely black. (Looks like a small SR-71!!!)The cockpit, views and all else work fine. The wing views are fine.But from Spot view, I only have a totally black aircraft...........I did an un-install and re-install. Same result. I have RTFM, but …

First of all, thanks to everyone who has downloaded the program (over 600 folks so far!) and especially to those who have taken the time to contact me with issues. That's how I can make the next release better!The good news is--so far, no one has recorded any bugs with the app itself. The bad news--a couple of XP users have had problems running the batch file I included with the program. One error is harmless--I accidentally typed a "#" instead of an "@" at the beginning of the batch file. It reports a bad command, then continues. Anyone can edit the file to correct my error.The other problem has been reported only by users of XP, and I'm stumped as to the reason why…

Hitting F2 or number pad 3 to decrease throttle power doesn't work. Nor does hitting F3 or number pad 9 to increase the power.I've checked the assignments (even resetting the default settings)but with no luck. However the throttle on my joystick works normally.Any suggestioin please?Cliff (In Spain)

Is there a way I can alter the automated ATC on MSFS2002 that will allow me to substitute other airline names for the ones built in?

I have been enjoying my GF-t8, p8, and GF-45 immensly. They have truely enhanced my flight experience.Today I received two GF-166's and the version 1.2 software. I installed the two units, upgraded the software, configured everything, and now some of the T8 and P8 buttons won't work. The 166's are configured as Nav 1 and Nav 2 and both light up but only one works properly. They both show frequencies but only one will change between standby properly. If I reassign Nav 1 and 2 between the two units, Nav 1 will always work properly so I do not believe it is an equipment issue.If I take the GF-166's out of the configuration and reload v 1.14, the T8 and P8 works perfectly…

Ok folks, its as real as it gets but my ATC (Virtualy Speaking) IS SENDING ME TO DEPART ON RUNWAY 6 This is a runway that is used for landings only and not for departures as it would take you directly Over Amsterdam and thats not allowed. See all the SID;s and Stars.So can anybody tell me how we can get this out of the program or is there a clue.I tryed getting the wind toi do the job but even with 40knt of tailwind there is only runway 6 for departures. When practicing patial panel approaches is there any way using the program to mark the failed instruments inoprative? The help section of FS2002 claims there is a menu that allows for panel changes, but I have yet to find it. Im using post it notes right now, but I am sick of getting my monitor dirty.
