To all you 3D display GURUs:Well, I got a good pair of glasses (cyan) and fired up the "stereo" section of the nVidia driver set. The included 3D demo looked FABULOUS! I set the stereo mode to toggle with the hotkey combo of CNLT+T, which was the default.I then started FS2K2 as I normally do in full screen mode. I selected the default flight at Meigs for the initial test. As soon as the flight parameters started to load the sim locked up.Not to be undaunted, I restarted FS2K2 in full screen with stereo mode inhibited. I then changed to run in a window and minimized the sim. Next I turned "on" the stereo and then maximized the sim window to full screen. The 3D seeme…

So I am too getting ready to throw my computer out the window....ok well maybe not the whole thing but my CPU and mobo. I bought an AMD to save money and to have great performance. But to tell you the truth I have had nothing but troubles with it. It takes weeks to get the thing to run stable and then if I add or change things its back to the drawing board once again. I am French, so I often fly over France. I fly with FSMeteo which provides real-time weather. Sometimes when I fly around Paris, some clouds appear and then the frame rate goes down to 1 FPS or less. If I clear all weather, it works fine again at 20-30 FPS. This problem only occurs in the Paris area.Do you have any clue?Config: FS2002 Pro, no additional scenery, no texture modified.Thanks for any info !!

Hi,I flew online for the first time in ages last night. Now I finally have my ADSL connection back again, I was thinking of hosting some sessions. Last night I put my flight up on MSN Zone and found that I didn't get many people joining me and those that did were a bit silly, (save one person who joined me for a great flight to France). Maybe I didn'r get many people joining because I had a flight plan, wasn't free flight and just messing about ...and probably came accross a bit serious??? I dunno... but I get the impression that Zone isn't such a good place to post a flight up, unless you like attempting to land 747's at Meigs.Anyway... my point is this (finally!)...…

Hi there...So far, I was able to sort of "fix or patch" KJFK,KBOS and KMIA. Still, there seems to be a problem of corruption in the textures of LFPG and KORD that I can't fix. First pic is LFPG, second is KORD.Question is....Should I release those fixes for KORD and LFPG as they are?

Does the new scenery go into the default folder, the default "add-on" folder, or a new folder? Seperate files within the folders?What's the difference between LandClass and mesh? What should I be wary of?Are there any GMAX Boeing 757s or CRJs out there I can use for AI?What's the difference between POSKY's B767 and POSKY's B767 V3?And yeah, AFCAD still ###### me. Thanks to Page C. Cline's apron fixes, Ron's great addon airport seems to be working fine. I installed the airport to the scenery library as usual but without adding the exclude lines and so far all looks great. Check it out for yourself.CORRECTION !!!(The exclude lines need to be added or there will be duplicate runways)I didn't see any mention of this in the forums so I thought I should bring it to your attention. This airport was one of my favorites. :-)SteveCYYZ

I don't know how long this condition has existed, but I just noticed yesterday while trying out the upgrade landclass for PNW (great scenery, btw), that there is only grassy texture between runways at KSEA. I have landclass lowered below both Portland and Seattle layers in the scenery.cfg as recommended, but it did not change the grass to concrete or other tarmac. This seems to exist, btw, only between runways. Areas around terminals seem more or less fine. Thanks for any remedies for this one.Sherman KaplanHighland Park IL

And I made an interesting discovery- Northwest has ordered 16 757-300's (in 2001) whihc will make them the largest operators of the type. I have no idea of their delivery slots at this time of course, they also ordered A330's too to replace their DC-10's...Tim

I have to say this DirectX has given me the biggest boost in performance since changing from Pentium233 to Pentium3-866. Not so noticeable in the scale but it's amazing the video is a lot smoother and don't think I lie if I claim that I got me 2-3FPS more at the least especially noticeable is improved smoothness!
