Hi there! After visiting some major FS2K2 airports i found these "All-White-Airlines" Jets and choppers(!) at EDDF, KLAX and KJFK. These are no AI aircraft since they seem to follow a scripted path (which does not fit to taxiway or runways). They also appear before any installation of PAI files or auto-installers. Might be an FSUIPC feature?!Does somebody know how to remove this?(UAL 763 in backround is from Project AI) Thanks for help!Chris

Regarding the joystick question, I can't believe so many must have a multi hundred dollar controller, I am a pro pilot and an avid sim pilot, have flown cubs to multi turboprops and I find a $15. joystick from Walmart works great.

When flying an airbus airliner do you fly using a joystick or the ch pro yoke. When you fly a Boeing airliner do you use a joystick or yoke. Would it be more realistic to use a joystick when flying an Airbus?

It was brought to my attention that in all the default aircraft, when you mouse click on the landing light switch, nav switch, beacon switch, etc you should hear a "click" sound.I don't get a "click" sound, and have never heard a "click" sound from day one of FS2002.Either I have a FS2002 problem, or a Windows 98SE problem. Can someone please look in their "Sound" folder and tell me the name of the sound file that makes this click sound? Or is the Click sound built into the gauges themselves?Any Ideas would be appreciated, as I don't what to reload FS2002 or worse yet, Windows 98.Thanks

I have just joined the avsim.com community (which I'm very impressed with), and have just downloaded my first patches. I am also new to winzip, and my question is this: Should my downloads, after being unzipped, appear in my MSFS98 folder? Mine are in a folder called "unziped"; there is no mention of them in my MSFS98 folder. Since I am also new to MSFS98, I can't tell if MSFS98 has incorperated the new files. They are mostly scenery files of Alaska, which I got to visit last summer, and I really want to have the best rendering possible of that wonderful place to visit. I'd appreciate a short note from someone to tell me about this. Thank…

Hello: I have been purchasing the FS series since the mid-80's. Times have obviously changed. So has hardware. For example, I have:P4 2.2 NorthwoodAsus P4T-E1 Gig PC800VisionTek TI460019" Asus(total HW costs here, about $1,400.00...not bad, eh?)Everything FS Maxed, no water reflection or detailed textures. Mesh/ATC 90%. 1600 X 1024, 32bits, no AAYoke, Rudder, and Throttle USB.I have all the Add-on Aircraft. Its a fact, they are better than the stock models. But in the end, it all runs in FS2002, and that is the point of my comments.FS2002 team: I am a retired Air Traffic Controller, I am a Computer System Manager. I am a pilot who has not logged real time in 15 …

  12. Hey Eric!Nice job on these two liveries but there are two problems:1. The USAirways 757 is missing the textures for the airbrakes on the right wing.2. The United 757 is missing the engine textures.Any way of releasing an update for these? Thanks for your contribution with these two paint jobs; they are very nice indeed. Now, if someone could only make Delta in the new and in the old colors, that would be awesome.Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

After downloading the new T38, I suddenly discovered that the referenced Lear45 engine sounds were not playing from the cockpit view. Spot view sounds play fine,as does the gear, flaps, etc. Anyone have a clue as to what could possibly be wrong?Incidentally, I loaded up the Lear45 and get the same result. I checked the sound folder, and the sounds are there.HELP!!Keith

Posting this here hoping to get a response to this annoying prob. After using it I can't get rid of it. Not the red text/green line one. But the chat window. After using it I try to click the x close corner but it won't close. I can resize it but when on approaches with a controller with no voice its hard to try to resize it everytime I won't to type. I'm also using the "FSChatScroll14Auto" file could this be affecting it?ThanksJackAS111www.ar-source.com

Back in the late seventies, I lived for about two years in the Siskiyou mountain range of Oregon. Hardly a day goes by that I don't have fond memories of some of the scenery I experienced there on my many hikes into those mountains.Well, my family and I are seriously talking of packing it up here and departing Arkansas in favor of the Pacific Northwest.California is out, I never want to live there again. Too expensive and bureaucratic.Oregon too, as my brother's mother-in-law, a very sweet lady, will be selling her house and relocating as well. She has been led to understand that the taxes are somewhat high there and that she will also be taxed on her late husbands firema…

Just performed a sight-seeing flight over Paris to test the PSD T-38.How well I looked, the famous Parisian church Le Sacre Coeur (on a hill North of the river Seine) was nowhere to be found (not the hill, nor the church). The Sacre Coeur was still a landmark in FS2000; is it just me or isn't it there? BTW: all graphics/scenery sliders are maxed.Cheers,David
