Hello, I am sure some of you remember this old Air Traffic software called "Tower" By BAO. I am wondering if anyone successfully installed it under Windows XP? I installed it okay but when I tried to run the program, it kept saying "Error: This version of MSVCRT20.DLL is only intended for Win32S" and then said "LoadLibrary Failed."How can I fix this problem?I am using Windows XP Professional Edition, GEForce 4 -4600Ti.Thanks!Brian

Hi,My CPU is an Athlon 1.8 Ghz and I am using a GeForce3 card with the 29.42 Nvidia driversAs I cruise at high Flight Levels, I am seeing textured land only around a 30 mile or so radius around my aircraft. Beyond that I see untextured land (is that what they call "the blurries"?)Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should change to be able to see land textures further away than just 30 or 40 miles around me?I am using RivaTuner, so I can try any suggestions related to this tuning addon.Stamatis

I was taking a vacation, and visited Calgary, Banff, Jasper, and Edmonton Area.Everything was beautiful, and I really enjoyed the scenery there.Now, I am wondering if there are any scenery available for FS.Did the quick search at AVSIM, and Flightsim.com, but could not find them.If anyone knows, please advise.Thanks,Nick

Hi all, I have been changing my VGA card from an ASUS 7700 GF2 GTS to a Creative GF4 Ti 4200. Also changed to the latest nVidia 30.30 drivers.Only one problem: My refresh rate is set (stuck) at 60. Even with the 28.32 drivers that came with the new card, the refresh rate remains at 60.How can I adjust it to say 75 or higher? (The flickering really gets my eyes)Also lost the smoke effect when typing "I". No smoke appears, but the aircraft textures where the smoke used to be, disappear.-Even removed and re-installed FS 2002. No help.Any ideas?Thanks for your help.P.S. Ok this question has been asked at least several thousand times.But well, I have an MSI Ge2 Ti200 card on a PIII 1.1GHz computer under W98SE. I use (don't laugh) the 14.62 drivers for the simple reason that the whole stuff is very stable for FS2k2.I would like to try to improve the frame rate.What driver is the best for this type of card (Ge2 Ti200). Hello,I have gf 3ti 200 and the detonator I was running was 29.42. I had bought the FS2k2 on the first day it was released and never reinstalled it after my first installation, until I installed directx 8.1 today. It is a disaster for my fs2k2, at least for me. My previous version was directx 8.0 that came with the cd and was running absolutely fabulous. HI y'all,do you have transparent shadows with the Nvidia 30.30 drivers. Mine are pitch black. You cannot see the ground texture below them.Apart frm that the drivers work fine. Anybody else who has this problem.Is it a glitch of the driver or did I mess something up?Card is GF4Ti4600.Thx fr any help,Alex

AllTwo pics. one of the t38 and one of the cheyenne.What could be wrong here? The t38 gauge backlighting does not appear to be working at least on my system. Anyone have any suggestions? I thought Steve Small had mentioned that this new backlit technology was going to be put into the Cheyenne. If there is nothing wrong with the t38 vc on my system then Im not sure if putting the backlit technology into the cheyenne is such a good idea. Please tell me there something wrong with my video card and your vc does not look like mine.BobG

helloi installed the flightsoft package, ultimate hongkong scenery, and i am experiencing the following problem. when i am standing on the ground, i can't see the runway textures, i am only seeing grass, only when i am airborne, after 200-or 300 feet, i am starting to see the textures... it looks like i am below the textures. i did the installation fully automatically for FS2002, but it doesn't work at the end.thanks all for your helpMarc MullerFlight Attendant

I have searched out and installed no less than another twenty-six pieces of scenery for this area.Before I dump yet another listing on you, 3rd Edition, I would ask a favor that you all take a browse through some of your favorie web sites and see if there aren't a few more lurking out there that have slipped past me. I am thinking about buying a new P4 to replace my trusty old P3 which runs FS2002 very well but has a tougher time with add ons like PSS. Is there a way I can transfer my existing FS2002 with myriad add-ons from the old PC to the new one without having to re-instal or re-load every app like FSMeteo, FSNavigator, PSS fleet and panels, POKSY a/c, DC-10 and panels, etc.? Any magic app or cable available that will do this job easily and quickly and ensure that things still work under Windows XP? (I currently have good ol' Windows 98 plain vanilla, no upgrades, ever, and FS2002 works real well.)Appreciate any advice and info, thanks!Js

Hi,Just downloaded this great looking aircraft. I was wondering if anyone knows how to paint this G-MAX aircraft. I have painted alot of non G-MAX aircraft but when I try to open the bitmap images in a number of paint programs, all I see is a blank white image. I would like to paint this aircraft in it's red and white trainer colors. Any help or comments?

HiFirstly I am new on this forum and to FS2K2. I am running a high-end machine, and have noticed that the strobe lighting for runways at night seem rather square and foggy. Is there a patch out there to fix this?Steve

eyup!I was just reminded of a post a while ago regarding the limited use of road textures in fs2002. It only seems to use the white/grey gravel roads. Have any of you scenery guys had any thoughts on this. There seem to be plenty of road textures available.Atleast, if someone knows the filenames of the road files fs2002 uses we could maybe rename some of the other files to replace the gravel roads....Any thoughts?:-)Pete

I have just recently noticed that when I go to 'advanced weather' and select the visibility that I want to use for instance 20 miles, the tops used to be a default 10,000ft. However this seems to have been corrupted somehow, no matter what I set this altitude to, the tops always immediately reset themselves to 100,000 ft. This is particularly annoying as I used to set this figure to 4000ft or so and at the moment this 100.000ft setting makes this facility useless. I Don't know if anyone has experienced a similar problem but can someone possibly enlighten me on what I may have done and how to correct it? Thanks in advance. Brian.

The other day, I landed the AA 727 in Churchhill, Manitoba, Canada for a fuel stop. The airport has a paved runway 14/32 (or is it 13/31?) which is the longest, and a gravel 07/25.I don't remember what direction the wind was from, but it should have been appropriate to send me to the ILS runway 31 because it was the longest runway. However, ATC decided to vector me for the visual runway 25 instead, and as a result I came within feet of running off the end of the runway after a not-exactly-great landing.I did not touch this airport in AFCAD or do anything to close 13/31(14/32?), so the standard "longest runway" rule should have been effective here.Any other exemptions t…
